Or, they may have an eyewitness who saw him abduct Dani from Met Life but didn't realize that he or she had witnessed an abduction until he or she reported to work on Monday and learned that Dani was missing. And I do think he abducted her from Met Life despite the risk. Psychopaths always think they can get away with anything, so the often take what other people think of as big risks. As to whether anyone knew he was stalking her . . . I doubt it. I'd be surprised if Dani even knew, which is why he was able to abduct her. Maybe he talked his way into her car by saying that he needed a ride to a nearby building (to cover an absent Veritas person's shift or whatever). I think he probably pulled a gun as soon as the car was out of the parking lot and forced Dani to drive to his home in Berkley. I don't think the timing was a coincidence, either. I think he had had fantasies about abducting and raping women long before he zeroed in on Dani as his victim, and I think he was waiting and hoping for his wife's cancer to return so that he could have the house to himself and pull off an abduction.

Great post. And good point about the timing thing. I had thought about the timing of her supposed return from the hospital and the search of the house but not the timing of him waiting for her to be in the hospital to carry this out with Dani.

Even with everything that is going on (searches etc) , psychopaths also can be in denial that anyone is on to them.

Thank you, yes, there was video of Michelle walking in the parking structure but the camera that was recording where her car was wasn't working. The friend/stalker who was like 5 feet tall and very tiny/pregnant hurt her/killed her right there. She drove Michelles car out of the structure and after she dump her body, tried to bring the car back to the structure but someone spotted her so she left the structure and parked the car at an apartment complex near by. Pretty much everything she did was caught on tape besides what actually happened to Michelle. They did find blood in Michelles car and on the ground next to where her car was though. Michelles phone and her killers phone pinged at the same places as the killer drove her car.

There's an episode of it on Dateline if anyone is interested. It's called Vanished about Michelle Le who was a nursing student. Michelles family also thought that maybe human trafficking was involved. The police did not tell the family too many details until they had a strong case and knew for sure.

Why did she kill her?
I don't think this is the same thing.

But I have thought a woman maybe did this. If it's not SG.

If I had this as my keychain:

I am pretty sure that, if I went missing and my keys were missing, police would release an image of the cat above and say they're looking to find my keys. It's something that's pretty unique. If it's found in a bin, if it's found amongst some bushes, if a refuse worker saw it, etc....etc... it's a good clue.

The relationship to weed is, in my opinion, secondary and irrelevant. It's the keychain itself - it's identifiable. There is literally no reason for LE to bring this up if it's to point towards this being weed related - there's not one possible reason for asking the public to look out for it because it's related to weed.

It's because it's a pretty unique identifier that would stand out if you were to see it someplace unusual, or in the possession of someone you hadn't seen with it before.

The constant discussion surrounding this is getting tiresome. If anyone can tell me one possible reason LE have released this bit of information for any other reason than it being an identifiable object owned by Dani, then please do.

I've tried reading along with this thread as much as possible without commenting, but I really can't go through another circle of drug talk again.

I don't think it has anything at all to do with drugs or weed.
I never did.
But they sure placed a big emphasis on this key charm.

No, they didn't. They pointed towards it being an identifiable marker.

This forum placed a big emphasis on it because it was related to weed.
 
The keys and the phone being missing makes me believe she Drove her car home got out of her car got into another.

She thought that Michelle was sleeping with her babies dad/ex. Very odd. Thy even tried to get a lighter sentence, saying that Michelle provoked her to it. Horrible.

From the beginning of the case, LE wanted the public to be on the lookout for three things, the photos of which were displayed by all local/national media: the blue jacket, the smiley-face key fob, the cell phone/case. I assumed at first that these items went missing with Danielle.

Following last week's announcement that the jacket might provide important evidence, it sounds as if LE has the jacket that is being tested at MSP lab. I'm not sure what to make of the key fob and/or cell phone/case any more. If these items were in Danielle's jacket pocket, were they still there when jacket was found (if, indeed, it has been found)? Are the key fob and phone still missing? If perp/s took these items, does he/she still have them, or have the items been discarded (and unlikely to ever be located)?
 
I have a thought that whomever Atomic Angela saw the day Dani disappeared may actually have been involved. Between the police contacting her about it again, and her absence since the thread was down makes me think she might not be able to talk about any of it anymore, at least I hope that's the reason she isn't on here. The thing I can't quite figure out is exactly how he may have been involved, especially since it was so close to the time of her disappearance.
