Former Classmates of Deanie Peters Want Closure, Answers

ADA, Mich. (WZZM) - Four months ago, WZZM 13 News launched a Facebook page dedicated to generating discussion and possible new leads in the 30-year old cold Deanie Peters' missing persons case. Today, there are nearly 1,300 people following the page.

A group of Deanie's former classmates gathered Wednesday in Ada, each discussing how this unsolved case affects them more today than it did three decades ago.

I have read a lot about the case online and I came across information that there were certain sporting events going on that night at the school. Did the police ever check to see if anyone had a video recording from any of these events? They probably did but it was something I wondered. If there was a recording, who knows but it could have recorded Deanie walking past with someone who can be questioned further.

Also, I was wondering why she was declared legally dead in 1991? Is this typical in missing persons cases? Isn't it possible she is still alive?

Having read up on this case the serial killer theory was one that I hadn't even considered. Reading the facebook page and all about Andrew's really has me thinking that he could be involved. I hope LE are looking into it seems almost too coincidental that he had links to the area

This is such a sad and haunting case. Hopefully somebody will give a tip soon and she can be found. I think of this case often since she lived so close and my friend whet to the same school and dated her best friend. Many people probably know where Deanie is buried. Please pray that someone comes forth and helps solve this case.

Police state they know the people who know where her body is located and they refuse to cooperate. Hopefully someone/something will somehow break this case and she can be found and put at rest.

Am I correct in thinking that LE believe that Bunch killed her, and the girls she was involved in the altercation with helped dispose of her body? Or do they think that the girls were wholly responsible for this?

I really hope she's found soon. This is too long to wait for answers.

We're so close to finding out the ending to this haunting case! Let's pray they can have a heart for Dean's family and tell them at least where she is. Her family would be happy with just that.

(Off topic to above but they have an age progression photo for Deanie at the link above as well---I have to say I think it's horrid hairstyle they have elected to put on her. JMHO but I really don't like that.)
