Griem said his investigators, including a retired FBI agent, have been "beating the bushes and we've come up with at least one person of interest -- a brand-new person."

He would not identify or characterize the person his team is looking at, but did say "we believe this person was not acting alone."

Looks like the "Griem Reaper" is at it again. This guy has a huge ego and loves to target local law enforcement. He did the same thing in the high profile Stephen Grant case that launched Griem's notoriety as a local talking head. I think he's more of a talking :butthead: Griem thinks he's the new Geoffrey Fieger - good luck with that, Griem: You are no Fieger and never will be. jmo

Fox2 reported just a little bit ago that bob's Cadillac has been towed.I can't locate the story on their website. The picture they used was an older goldish big caddy. I am assuming it was LE that towed but they haven't replayed clip. To much faux snow storm news. Since I cant find the story I'll go with IMO. And forgive me of this is old news.

Ok. I have sat waiting for the replay & haven't seen it. I have to get moving but will keep an ear on the news. I swear I saw it around 5 amish w/ Cam Carmen (sp?) & the new blond reporter.

Police on Thursday impounded as evidence a Cadillac that a handyman reportedly told police was promised as partial payment for murdering marketing executive Jane Bashara.

The car, which was parked in a St. Clair Shores lot for weeks before it was impounded about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, is registered to the victim's husband, Robert Bashara, who was called a "person of interest" in the case by Grosse Pointe Park Police Chief David Hiller.

Investigators are awaiting evidence, including blood and hair reportedly taken from the Basharas' garage, which was sent to an out-of-state laboratory because the Michigan State Police, which normally processes evidence, has a backlog of cases.

Case of slain Grosse Pointe woman takes new twists and turns

In the weeks before Bob Bashara’s alleged mistress walked off the job for good, her work performance grew increasingly poor and her relations with colleagues became disrespectful, according to documents in her personnel file.

Gillett, the reputed girlfriend of Bob Bashara, was fired from her job as a secretary in the development and alumni affairs office at Wayne State.

But the real reason she was fired might be because she left the office on the day Jane Bashara’s body was found in a Detroit alley and never came back.

A copy of her electronic time slip released to the newspaper shows she worked for 2.5 hours on Wednesday, Jan. 25 — the day Jane Bashara’s body was discovered — and took the rest of the day off as a personal day.

She never returned.

I just wonder how much she knew about the murder or was so shocked by it that she figured bb must of did it and went into hiding? Then of course, her world shattered when she realized no house and the threesome she fantasized about were gone overnight.

--i was SHOCKED at what a FOIA request will divulge on someone's personal work file!

--and even more shocked that LE has not yet subpoenaed her emails etc from work!

--i don't think she could have known the murder happened when it did ( or she would have calmly stayed at work and acted like she was clueless).

--walking out-----to never return once ( the news broke? big bobb Master called her? ) is more of a WTF ???????

She did plan on quitting her job to become a Domestic Goddess from some of her posts made. Like he was going to take care of her? I doubt that. WTH was he going to tell his kids if his plan would of went through?

Since she was strangled, could there really be any expectation to find blood or nearly anything else that couldn't easily be explained away? Yes she was beaten badly but I do not recall hearing about any significant amount of blood.

I am hoping that there is something of real value that we have been waiting weeks to know.
