I think they are going to poly all RSO's who drive a silver mini van just in case. I think it would be the smart thing to do. JMO.

I wish they would tell us his age.

His fb page is down now but as I recall there was a picture of him with longer hair (like sketch) and one with very long hair (think from years ago). The most recent pics posted were short hair but not sure when they were taken.

The last pic I saw of LLL before it was taken down was of his mother, his GF and him all sitting on a couch. It was posted day before yesterday and showed him wearing a ballcap. I know people with long hair can pull their hair back but looking at his profile pic the hair was short on the sides. IMHO his hair is buzzed. He probably does that in the summer, just like I do for my boys.

I skipped PJS yesterday thinking he didn't look like sketch. With a shaved face I could see a resemblence. His size fits the eyewitness reports better too. He lives north of the route the van was taking too.

The person questioned is from Muskegon Heights.
He was pulled over on Ray Street near the intersection with Sherman avenue.

He is a registered sex offender driving a silver van.

He is also in is in his 60's and does not resemble the sketch at all.
He was let go after interrogation at PD and offsite.
As he left he said he was happy to cooperate in the investigation.

There is video of a detective (he has handcuffs and a gun) getting into the van as if to drive it away.

He appears to put something on the seat and MIGHT be wearing gloves.
Still though... that seems totally against protocol... why not just tow it?

the 60 yo man is not the same one they questioned for 6 hours and has not yet been cleared. they pulled in 2 POI's yesterday.

I suppose it's time to let the police do their job. I would be certain every RSO we have linked to has or is being reviewed by police. I just hope it is a local RSO or they are wasting time.

I'm working on a list of businesses or a map along a few routes that would be nice if someone local could drive to look for cameras on businesses and then we could report to police.

I know I'm a few pages back but...
You know, msthinksalot, I have been thinking about this ever since Mona Lake was brought up last thread I believe by Flutterby80 when we were discussing possible places the perp could have taken her. IIRC, Flutterby80 mentioned that there was construction on the lake at this time and gave a link to the project.
I keep going back to that and wondering if it's possible that the perp could be working that site and would not be a local, however would know the area due to him having to work there, possibly going to that particular EXXON? Maybe something to think about? Also check out the first comment under the article.

I think it's worth looking into. If he's been there at least a little while doing work, he'd be familiar enough with the area to know his way around a bit.... to know about the gas station, as well as be able to navigate around without having to rely on the freeway/highway.

I truly hope at worst she's being kept as a "slave" or something. otherwise, the outcome may be quite sad. her poor son.

Stopped at McDonalds for coffee this morning and they have a life sized pic of the POI face on the drive-thru window. At first that made me happy, but then I started to think that if this is indeed a good likeness and the perp was local, someone would have recognized him and called it in by now. So I'm worried that he's either not from the area (bad) or the sketch is not very accurate (also bad).

Did you find any one where his hair is longish and wavy, parted down the middle? (recent pictures)?
