I presume Billy Milliken area refers to the Michigan governor William Milliken, and "Arab Adamany" to David Adamany?

Beyond that.. wtf?

I just looked at BC's discus profile - there is a lot of ranting, so I don't think it's something specific to this case.. interesting as it is

The BC person trolls all the WDIV boards. I wouldn't take anything he says seriously

BDE - he lives off Woodward and 12 mile Ish so def in the neighborhood

The original "rant" about the JN case was posted on another media site under a different handle (initials J.O.). I'm not sure if BC is the same individual or uses another name on that site.

Today is an awful day... I just wanted to post a quick note that I'm still thinking about Julia. I hope Jennifer is ok. I hope her family is hanging in there. Hugs and love across the miles, I know this weekend will be awful for all of you. :heartbeat::heartbeat::heartbeat:

I went to the candlelight vigil in Monroe tonight and got a chance to quickly speak w Jennifer. She is holding up remarkably well. Ill share some pics later

I know there is a way to post a video but I only have the embedded link.. If anyone can help that would be great....

I did speak very briefly with Jennifer and relayed a funny moment that we remembered about Julia. I didn't get to talk to the rest of the family, but kind words and stories were told about Julia before the candle lighting, and the song "Here Without You" by 3 Doors Down was played. There were about 300 people out at Munson Park.

Although I don't advocate not paying attention 100% to the road, this is Jennifer and Julia being goofy...Julia is driving. You can get a sense of her spirit and sense of humor.

And some stuff from tonight. They lit numerous Chinese lanterns in honor of Julia. The bright lights you see are the news cameras.

Tomorrow will be the first day the family is allowed to view Julia's body.... Even though there was so much heartbreak in Connecticut, please keep Julia's family in your good thoughts, wishes and prayers as they stand together for her funeral this weekend.

Zebra print ribbons were made in honor of Julia and being worn at Meijer and at her vigil. A friend that made them sold them for 1.00 with donations going to the family,... So if you see Zebra print in your life, think of Julia.

Sister of Julia Niswender: I vow to live every day in memory of her
Twin sisters Julia and Jennifer Niswender often described their bond as one that was unbreakable and unwavering in love. That is how Jennifer will continue to remember her relationship with her sister as she seeks answers after Julia's untimely death this week.

Friends, family remember EMU student Julia Niswender in candlelight vigil

There were both tears and laughter Friday night during a student-organized candlelight vigil to remember the life of Eastern Michigan University student Julia Niswender, who was found dead in her apartment building Tuesday night.

About 200 people gathered outside Big Bob’s Lakehouse on Eastern’s campus to mourn the loss and share memories of the 23-year-old, whose untimely death still is under investigation.

I may have missed this... But do we know the last person to see Julia alive?

And do we know the date, time, and place?

(this is, of course, aside from the person responsible, if there was one)...

TIA

:seeya: I just finished getting caught on up this thread ... what a terribly sad case ...

From what I have read, it seems that there were signs of "foul play", but LE has not released anything at this time ...

I don't recall this being mentioned, but I was wondering : Did Julia have a current boyfriend, or an ex-boyfriend ?

:please: for Julia and her family at this time ...

As far as I know there was not a boyfriend or ex involved. But again with LE holding things so close to the chest no one really knows

I went through her twitter timeline and counted at least 3 guys in the last year she was most likely involved romantically with.
I don't get the feeling a man is involved in her death though.
There's an awful lot of jealousy going on in that establishment :moo:

Sadly, I think you're right. When this first hit the threads, I thought, a break in, an unsecured off campus apartment...but the way this looks...well I really hope that LE does everything and anything that needs to be done to ensure that whoever is responsible for this faces justice.

The fact that her life was laid bare, for anyone to see, and covet is scary. She was a happy girl, a beautiful spirit who would have undoubtedly brought that joy to everyone she would have ever met. Her light was extinguished way too soon. By all appearances, by foul play. Prayers for answers and justice for her family and friends. As soon as possible.

:seeya: Thank You for this update ...

JMO ... but my "first impression" when I was reading about Julia's death and where she was found, my first "suspicions" was that possibly a "roommate" was involved ... so I wanted to "rule out" IF it was a possibility that there was a boyfriend ...

:waitasec: It sort of reminded me of another case that happened 5 years ago ... in another country ... where the roommate was involved in her roommate's brutal death ... but that's for another thread :innocent:

Oh, I sure wish LE would release "something" about the "foul play" ... maybe after the memorial and funeral they will ...

This is truly a very sad case ... this young lady had her whole life ahead of her ...

:please: for Julia and her family ...

I've said many times on these boards that I don't subscribe to any social media nor does my DH. The only time that I see Facebook, Twitter, etc. comments are those that are posted or paraphrased here. Several people who are following this case have alluded to jealousies among Julia's friends/colleagues, and I'm starting to think that this is entirely possible.

While it never led to anything as serious as murder, I recall many seemingly petty rivalries among college students that centered on boyfriends, clothing, grades, etc. that might have escalated in a different social climate. I don't want to speculate when we've been given so little information, but I hope that we soon learn more about the "possibility of foul play" that has been mentioned by those investigating Julia's untimely death.

Hello everyone..... I caught up on this thread... I do believe there could be a jealousy issue that led to this, as a few weeks ago a Central Michigan University poisoned her roommate over jealousy concerns, I believe. So it's fresh in many of our minds around here. Who knows though.

I went to the viewing today. There were many people there ,lots of former coworkers I hadn't seen for a while. I spoke with her dad for a brief moment and was able to talk to her aunt for a bit longer. This family has been through too much tragedy this year... Kim's (Julia's mom) brother killed himself earlier this year and her best friend was the woman I mentioned in an earlier post who was hit by a car in a freak car accident while out in her driveway after putting her daughter on the bus (this was about 2 months ago). This family has been to hell and all the thoughts, prayers and wishes we can send them are needed.

Julia looked so beautiful. Her makeup and hair were done perfectly - just as she usually wore it. She was in a hot pink sweater with her jewelry on.... Honestly it didn't look like she had passed away.....just sleeping quietly. Lots of flowers with the zebra print and pink theme going.... we all had our zebra print and pink ribbons on (Julia's favorite). There is talk of more Justice for Julia items being made as well.

Tomorrow is the funeral. I unfortunately cannot attend but other stores have provided the Meijer in Monroe with people so anyone can attend the funeral (well, at least the grocery side..even though Julia worked in service...long story). Meijer and Walmart are splitting the costs for the after funeral dinner. Walmart is also providing coverage for their employees to attend the funeral.

I think that we will be speculating until the toxicology results are in... From what I understand theres really nothing else that can be done...

I did let the family know that they have support from around the world...They are very thankful and appreciate the fact that Julia's being thought of.

Thank you, Undertakeress, for the update...

I am glad that Meijer and other businesses are helping so much!

Yes.. Please let Julia's family know that we are thinking of them... And wish them peace in this challenging time!

A thought I had....

The roomies could not enter Julia's bedroom when her alarm kept going off.. Right?

It is interesting that Julia had her room dead bolt locked from the inside (as it seems to me), though she lives with other females...

I wonder why she felt she needed that protection?

but I guess everyone has differing levels of needs for privacy and safety...

JMO
