I can not believe a fight and gun shots at this baby's VIGIL!!!

The world has gone crazy, and I'm just too old for this. I can not understand. I just can not.

This exact same thing happened at one of the vigils for the Wix girls. And they defaced headstones in a cemetery to make it look like those at the vigil did it. It's pretty sick behavior.

I agree with what ya'll are saying, but I agree with what the aunt is saying, too. Pedophiles are not usually attracted to average looking girls - it's the girls like this one, she's got kind of a fairy quality to her, that you could see someone who was bent that way being watching her for their chance. Sad, but that's really the reality - and my guess is, her mother and the aunt who was speaking (sorry, forgot her name) went through that as young girls too. Both of them have that same really pretty tiny little figures, and she's probably speaking from experience being "watched" by men. Sad.

The aunt of the missing 5-year-old whose remains were likely found in an abandoned burned house, has not passed the lie detector test that the family was asked to take.

Konesha Smith, 24, the mother of Mariha Trenice Smith, (see story) who was last seen sleeping on the floor of her aunt's home, has told the media that her sister, Virginia Smith is still in custody of the police, because she failed the lie detector test.

Although she does not know the specific, she does know she failed and has not returned home, and has been at the police station since Monday.

The Medical Examiner's office has ruled that he body that the police believe belongs to Mariha, died from Asphyxia before the fire was set.

New news is that a male was seen purchasing a small amount of gas around 7:45 a.m. on Sunday morning from a BP station that is two blocks from the burned house.

The police are going over the store surveillance videos.

Meanwhile, a building that was once a home will now forever be remembered as a tomb. A child was dumped there and set on fire like trash after being brutally murdered. A crime so mind boggling it's clear why so many have been drawn to the scene.

Tuesday night, Detroit Police brought specially trained dogs into the family home to see if they would pick up the scent of gasoline. We're told they did not find any traces inside the house.

It doesn't matter whether you believe the child found inside the vacant house was little Mariha or someone else, there's a child that's been murdered and a killer who has yet to be brought to justice.

And then there is this. Which if you read it really carefully several times... seems to imply that this man being sought for questioning, is the mother Konesha's boyfriend... because that is the "Smith" referred to before the boyfriend of the "Smith" is mentioned.

The first mention of Mariha's mother having a boyfriend actually.

Since Michael Williams is obviously accounted for, that would mean he's not her boyfriend.

Also, since he thinks of Mariha as a granddaughter, him dating her grandmother would make sense.

Dating her mother and thinking of Mariha as a granddaughter wouldn't make sense, no matter what his age.

I totally believe Michael Williams is Diane Henry's boyfriend.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the girl's aunt was still being detained for questioning and was held on outstanding misdemeanor warrants.

Smith was released after a polygraph test indicated she was being truthful.

Detroit police officers brought the aunt's boyfriend in for questioning, and an arson dog capable of detecting flammable liquids was expected to be used on him, sources told the Free Press.


Police said Smith's boyfriend, who is a brother of the aunt's boyfriend, also was being sought for questioning.

I am hoping when the DNA results come in, there will be a press conf from LE.

The only word we have gotten from them is quotes from the media.

Not bashing the media, but this case is very hard to follow and several things have been reported wrong or from the family and has changed numerous times.

So, I want to watch LE and hear what they have to say about this case.

I think it is safe to say this was not a random abduction and murder... going along with the stats, as usual, it seems that this child was in the most danger from elements within her home.

Maybe he is?

He might have a job and so he might be working some of the time but he might be there at night with her...
Or he might have a warrant so he might not be there...
Or he might be involved, has disappeared and that's why they want to question him.

I am 99% sure that Michael is Diane's boyfriend. After that it's just Smith 1, Smith 2.... It's really bad if *I* can't keep it straight. :waitasec:
