You guys! They are saying the hotwater heater started the fire and they are questioning if Donna set the fire. It was in the basement where Ramsay was asleep, Donna was home when this happened. They are looking into whether Donna started the fire to attempt to kill him then. They have reopened the case.

They have also stated in that livefeed that Ramsay was taken by ambulance because it was said he had taken his fathers' morphine. He later was arrested - at some point - for a hit n' run, assault / fight *they called it a brawl* So it does appear he had anger issues, but I'm wondering if it was a bar fight out in a parking lot?

Anyway, I caught that in the 1 minute live feed broadcast per link above.

ummm.. there is something really wrong here and I don't think Ramsay had a choice in what happened at this point in time. Do you all see how huge he was? I am thinking that the tox screen on the parts that they have is a great idea.

If I were that detective I would ask where his other limb is at. I hope they have found it. The charring on some of the items and the bleach makes me think she may think she is very smart and has outsmarted the LE by going on camera and just dropping off bags willy nilly.

I think she's a "whack job" why not dispose of the bags in a dumpster?
I feel so sorry for that poor guy. Makes me really sick.

I'm trying to place when she might have killed him, but no one has come forward with the last time they had seen him. Odd ennit?

I wonder if she killed him Thursday night/Friday AM and went about doing the needed things (title changes etc) that day. So does that mean she sat around all weekend with Ramsay's body?

She did use bleach and attempt to clean up, and I kinda think she did that before she went to dump his body.

I was typing fast to catch everything (my short term memory is awful). They said he had stolen/taken. They didn't however say if he actually had ingested it or was found to have any in his system.

Bond raised to $250,000.

Documents obtained that show new information about the fire. Fire might have been intentionally set to harm Ramsay.

Ramsay may have taken his father's morphine and had to be taken to ER.

First time posting about this case (or any case in a long time).

I must admit, this has to be the most horrific case of mother/child murder that I have ever read about. I know Ramsay was an adult and we read and deal with a lot of crimes involving small children/parents, but this case has literally brought me to my knees.

I can't help but think that any and all "mental issues" Ramsay suffered from were the direct result of years and years of severe abuse at the hands of DS. Most likely going back all the way into his childhood.

I fully believe that Ramsay's fathers death, whether sudden (heart attack) or a long time illness, needs to be looked into further. I think that Ramsay's paranoia and suicidal thoughts paint a picture of a man (Ramsay) who KNEW that the death of his father meant that his own abuse would now escalate.

I am also very interested in the medical history of both Ramsay and his brother.

I am also pleased to know that they have re-opened the case of the fire. I didn't know, until today, that the fire originated in the same room that Ramsay slept. No wonder the poor man was so paranoid.

I also believe that DS has been injecting/feeding drugs to Ramsay for a very long time. It's just a gut feeling.

All I really do know is that when I look into DS's eyes... I see the devil.

I have literally never been more inthralled in a case. I have one other one that i'm pretty invested in, but in different ways. This is just .... I don't even know! She's the poster for the boogie man. A nurse, a mother, a widow and a woman. She was supposed to be all that's good and great in this world, a nurturing human! She has been in charge of the wellbeing and love of many people, she took a job to be face of compassion (nurse). She took the role of being a life force (mother) and it appears all of these things were simply a means to an end.

I really wonder if it's going to come out where she had planned to go and how she was going to get there. No one takes out 8 grand and kills themselves. She was plotting to take off and it'll be none to shocking if we find out she had a fake ID and new identity planned.

She did make mention on FB that she was going to Texas and when a family member remarked about it - she didn't want to discuss it openly, she told him to PM her.

Yeah but she is so was cuckcoo and not very smart. My heart goes out to her kids. I have very soft spot for Ramsey. So very sad :tears:

Scrivo is a registered nurse. Court records say she worked part-time at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit from 1989 to 2004, when she was fired. She was allowed to collect unemployment after a three-person panel of the state Employed Security Board of Review said claims against her regarding two medication errors were not proven.

Let's remember that was 10 years ago. :scared:

There was something on her FB about a job. Now, don't take my word as gospel, I have seriously short term memory issues sometimes (adhd that's currently unmedicated) - but I swear it's on her facebook. Anyway, she had a photo of a certificate that she received from a nursing/transitional living facility. I *think she was working at one, but I DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE.

I've never collected unemployment, how long can a person continue to collect? With her RN she could have gotten a job at anytime anywhere - as long as she could pass a drug screen and a background check. Hell, I know nurses that have been fired for various reasons and had no issue in being hired elsewhere. Granted she wouldn't make as much as she did with a hospital, if she went private or to a facility - but it's work!

Not sure if it was as an RN though. Another post pretty soon after Mr. S's death told someone to come visit whenever because she was only working 3 days per week.

ETA: The post from July 10th mentions an accreditation group called CHAP coming into her workplace re:Medicare. Here's what I found:

CHAP has approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to provide deemed status Medicare certification for home health and hospice as well as DMEPOS providers. This validation can result in a multitude of business opportunities for the community based care provider.

So she was likely either in home health care (home nursing?), hospice, or DMEPOS (durable medical equipment point of sale... so basically providing walkers, wheelchairs, bandages, diabetes testing supplies, etc)... Hmmm....

Maybe I'm dumb, but how could a water heater start a fire without blowing up the whole da*n house??? If it was electric (not gas) there wouldn't be a pilot light, right?

Also, I think the mom took the morphine, maybe slipped some to RS, said he stole it, and had him carted off because he was a danger to himself.

Kinda like "gaslighting" him.

Now I think it was all premeditated instead of snapped.

1989-2004 - DS works part time as RN at St. John Hospital until fired (after claims re: two medication errors); DS allowed to collect unemployment after Board of Review determines claims not proven [8]

?2005 or 2006 - RS purchases condominium on Gary Lane, but “never lived there” due to failure to complete renovation projects, must accept money from parents to pay half of living expenses and has difficulty paying bills [8]

• Note: Article states RS purchased condo “eight years ago” but unclear if this is as of time of article or as of time of report filed in 2013.

2013/Jan/28 - DS’s mother MY passes away, aged 82 [1]

2013/May/15- DS’s husband passes away, aged 61, RS admitted to psychiatric floor of St. John Hospital after morphine in the home found missing and RS “difficult to wake up” [2,8]

• Note: Mr. S. “passed away after terminal illness” according to [3], other comments on FB and below several articles state after sudden heart attack or other condition

2013/May/17 - DS files mentally ill petition for hospitalization of RS, RS agrees to hospitalization, DS granted guardianship - ?until what date [3,8]

• Note: “a few days later [after death of Mr. S]” per [3], May 17th per [8]

2013/June - RS indicates he will petition the court to terminate guardianship in 6 months and plans to cooperate with treatment (including meds and following DS’s rules) [3]

2013/July/31 - Fire at Rosedale house, DS and RS were both home (per Fire Marshall's report, although DS told police no one was home at the time) - ? faulty water heater vs. intentionally set - note that water heater close to where RS slept [12,13]

2013/Summer - DS receives 2 insurance payments totaling $175,000 [10]

2013/Sept - RS believes someone has implanted speaker in his tooth and removes a crown to remove speaker; another petition for hospitalization filed in probate court; RS diagnosed with psychosis/paranoia; petition dismissed because RS discharged from hospital [3]

2014/Jan/26 - RS reported missing by DS, states he has been missing about a day [3]

• Note: This is almost exactly one year to the day from when DS’s mother passed away! Just an observation...

2014/Feb/3 - DS arraigned, charged with disinterment and mutilation of a body, held on $100,000 bond, DS’s 60th birthday [3,8]

2014/Feb/4 - Emergency hearing held, bond increased to $250,000 after judge finds DS not truthful about finances; DS referred to Forensic Center for evaluations of competency and criminal responsibility [10]

Holy carp! I just had a thought... If she *was* in fact working in Hospice or home health, she would likely have had access to some meds that aren't even commonly available in the hospital... i.e., the morphine liquid and/or vials that we've been speculating about.

I sometimes cover the inpatient hospice unit at the hospital where I work, and there's a lot less oversight on the narcotics there because of the nature of the type of care they're providing.

JMO. Just some wheels that are turning. Lots of pulling at straws, obviously.
