A team of firefighters and police officers were dispatched about 10:30 p.m. to the Lazy River Resort Campground near Pioneer where they combed the facility in groups, trying the doors of campers, scanning ponds, and walking along a creek on the grounds. By 1 p.m., the search was completed without a trace of the missing boys.

I went back and they have just updated it to say the'd do live stream for the 11am pc. hope this one works.

I've gone through all the other local sites and nothing new.

I'm a couple hours north and it just rained all night. I could'nt sleep thinking about these little guys.

I am in NE Indiana approx. 1 1/2 hrs. from Morenci. It rained here all night, too.
It isn't too cold out though, 51, but a front is coming behind the rain and the highs for the rest of the week are going to be in the 30's.
I know how you feel, thinking about the boys all night.

I looked for a way to access court records online for Lenawee Co., MI for more info. on the parents but did not see a way to look them up.

John has been through this before. He lost his daughter and does not want to lose his sons. I still can not bring myself to believe that he killed them. I think he is hiding them and is using smoke screens of suicide attempts and a mystery woman to cover the fact.

Where to look for them? Could be anywhere by now. But what about Alaska where he was in the Air Force? Three boys could get lost there.

I don't have a good feeling about this at all, still drained for Zahra's case...this brings back memories of Susan Smith. What ever happened to 'truth serum' ? I know people will scream constitutional rights...but what about the rights of these children???
If there's a chance these sweet angles are still alive, this coward of a man should tell the truth and quickly. He's in a nice, warm bed...24 hour care, what about these sweet boys, where are they??

BBM This really bothers me. The mom knew that dad had already taken off w/ the boys why would she voluntarily let the boys return to him so quickly? Just wondering out loud.

Shows that he is controling and tried to get the daughter of the wife in 2000. A pattern with trying to take kids from their mothers.

I dont believe for one minute he was "sad" over losing custody. I beleive he was "mad"

If not she should be.
The Grandmother seems to be in total denial. She probably was the one that suggested or retained the lawyer for JS. It would seem to me that if anyone did have or have seen those boy’s, they would of called authorities.

I’m wondering if he was vile enough to take his blue van through the toll cameras to be seen but, the boy’s are in the opposite direction? He could maybe say he was just out driving randomly contemplating his bogus suicide. Hopefully they are checking storm drains or manholes in the area of his home too.

The dumping them on the highway seems like a lie too, just like the mystery woman was a lie.
Another diversion, or plot for his defense.

I wouldn't believe anything he said! Seems like everything he’s done from the get go has been to throw LE off track, starting with the story of Joann Taylor. Any story to make it “somebody else” not him!
I think the whole suicide thing is bull too.

Also it’s been said JS was a hunter? Or hunted? (wildlife)
So it’s likely he had a gun or guns? But he hung himself? Yeah, right!

I would like to see more pics of the boys. I know the ones that are on the news are the best head shot type picture but no one is crying and pleading for the return of these boys. There's no family pics out there? I don't understand why we have heard from schoolmates, LE, neighbors, and a spokesperson for mom but what about the boys older sister ot aunts pleading? The mom seemed to like to communicate via internet even recent postings so why so quiet now when the public needs to see these boys in every light possible? It's understandable that she'd be embarrassed (you'd think) about her rso status but thats already out there and I'd be darned if anything would embarrass me too much to be vocal about finding my kids.iykwim?

I know she is a victim and her record has nothing to do w/ this incident. Again her moral compass is a problem for me, if and when the boys are returned to her.
And I'm just grasping for anything right now.

Picked up the boy’s at school, took them back home after call from Police Chief Larry Weeks, and then left with them again from home the same day? Did the Mother go ahead and let him take them to FL. There was no second call to police that they were gone again? Going to FL? Where his parents live?

Residents in her (GM) Southside Jacksonville neighborhood said John Skelton lived in the area before moving to Michigan to start a family. They said the three boys are very close to their grandmother and visit Jacksonville often -- most recently in September.
