I'm thinking LE is being vague trying to avoid a tragic hostage situation.
 
I have the TV now, hubby is gone, but my Fox news has mostly election stuff on. Gggrrrrrrrr......

It sounds like whoever the witness is that spotted was already a passenger on the bus when his info and pic were first released and only saw and called authories later when he or she first saw the info.

I agree about the potential hostage situation on the bus. Even without a weapon, I imagine would be dangerous.

So we know that he was on a bus................I'm assuming that LE has contacted Greyhound and told the driver that he has a on the bus and to take his time to get to the next stop.

Or he is still on the bus, and the LE are waiting at the next bus stop to grab him??

As we all know in the past, many stations are reporting different things on the same case...
I'm not getting to excited about all the conflicting reports, but just offering different scenarios....

let me reword that then. Some need to realize that a rape victim will rarely run off with her attacker.

this is the bit OT part - but this is all getting to me in more ways than one.

WTF do these people think anymore? Do they NOT realize it's not JUST THEM "THE VICTIM they are ruining the lives of? I mean, damn, this guy has a wife, another child, (while we don't know if the wife was involved, their child was NOT) their families, Maria had family, friends, a career, a child on the way, she could have aborted, which is what some would have chose, but she chose to continue on her path, regardless of how it was dealt and from the sounds of things she was trying her best with all that she had in her lap. A couple days before, another beautiful woman who's life was truly just starting, snuffed out by what? A selfish M'fer. Why are these people allowed to continue on through society...

Yes, they maybe continuing in jail/prison..but THEY STILL CONTINUE -

THey still get to have contact w/ family/friends, still get to indulge in RL things, and they have NOTHING to offer to society. This is ridiculous, hurtful, anger inducing and it NEEDS TO STOP!

I know ya'll know this, and it's probably repetitious to what some if not most/all feel, but sometimes ya just gotta let it out...
 
The hormones of a pregnant women know no bounds. I have seen women raped only to later take up with the person that raped them. Also pregnancy does funny things to you. I have seen pregnant women get back with abusive husbands to "have someone there for their baby" Have even heard of pregnant women getting together with the person that raped (resulting in pregancy) them. I wouldnt be so quick to discount that theory. IMO it just seemed one of the more plausible reasons for the purchase of the bus ticket.

Thanks hon, but I hear rifles going on outside in the back of the property, I'm afraid if I have those on, someone will think I'm a deer messing w/ the gardens and will shoot me! LOL - maybe we can paint them orange for me for safety's sake LOL

Her uncle, Pete Steiner, said that Lauterbach — stung by the harassment that eventually forced her to move off base — decided to drop the case the week before she disappeared.

Until it comes out otherwise - we are assuming that she was NOT running off with him. With all that's come to light, and the fact this girl has not only lost her life, but the life of her child, I don't see how the two can be connected. Being friendly w/ someone DOES not make them running off into the sunset together.

Being friendly could mean that she was seen telling him to F'off and someone witness them "talking" but didn't hear the conversation.

Not to insult you or degrade, but I find it a offensive that one would even point forth that at a time like this. bottom line - HE TOOK HER LIFE..as well AS THE LIFE OF HER UNBORN CHILD. If they were running off together - why the hell would he do that? After all, speculation is that it's HIS child...remember?

NOONE HAS THE RIGHT TO TAKE THAT EXTREME AS TO SNUFF OUT A LIFE OF A PERSON - FRIEND OR FOE!
