Interrogation Tactics:

If you only have Misty's word for what happened during the interrogation.

If she has passed the polygraph, as she says? Why would they be still interrogating her over and over trying to find out what happened. I'm sure the LE knew just what was going on during the interrogation. They may have brought someone new into the investigation to get a new feel for what happened or a clear view of the last person to see Haleigh.

From what I have learned from my son if you have to give a polygraph over and over and over it is because it is
"Inconclusive." He also told me there are evasive measures you can take to assure that the polygraph comes out "inconclusive" and not "Guilty" even if you are guilty.

He showed me on the net ... it's "all" there on how to fool the machine.

Sometimes LE will also repeat Poly's for additional info and questions. My son is in law enforcement. He actually graduated from UW Platteville a year ago and is now working and studying for his masters. He is just like my uncle who is a detective in Chicago. In any case they would not tell them that they are "satisfied".

The Ok City bombing was a good example of LE working like the big machine they really are. Our family lost a child there and I applaud the Oklahoma LE!!!!

It's worrisome that both Misty and Ron have been making statements like this from the very beginning of this case. Misty often slips and talks about Haleigh in the past tense and in one of Ronald's earliest interviews he said, "I'd give my life for my child's life back."

In one of TN's recent comments about the wedding, she refers to Haleigh in the past tense, too.

I have said I felt Misty was not being totally truthful, but what is she holding back? And is she only holding it back to the media and not to LE? I suppose it does answer the question that it isn't only to the media. I don't think she did anything to Haleigh tho. Maybe LE feels the same way and maybe they don't. I don't understand what they are doing as far as this case goes with the way they have done everything.

The dumpster, the last search, etc. are not sitting well with me. The news of this interrogation is just another thing I am adding to the list. Maybe John Walsh was right when he said they had hit a brick wall. Now, they are just going on the attack because of it. Who knows?!

IDK but so far I am sticking with my son and uncle's thoughts til I get more since they have experience. Maybe this is being used as a smokescreen to keep the perp thinking they are safe or out of the light so to speak?

You are so right...They would never say they are "satisfied" .

My son is a PI and also highly certified in Poloygraphs.
He has his own business, I also have a son that is a Sargent in a County that also helped in some of the searches for HC.

They both agree that something is not right about the time line..and the statements have been made.

Okay think of this:

So far LE has kept everything close to the vest. What exactly do they achieve? The sure do take the focus off of everyone and anything else which kinda leads me to believe they are running other more detailed investigations of people. I cannot believe that what Crystal has been up to has just flown by LE. Surely if we can look at all of this and wonder I can not imagine them just letting it all just glide on by!

And her camp is the only camp consistently complaining of NOT getting any information from LE. That made me scratch my head. Also regardless of the fact that it is a child custody attorney it is an ATTORNEY.

What I cannot quit pondering is the WHY in the inconsistencies... what would it do for Misty? What is her motive for this? I can understand why LE says that the key to the case lies with her.

This is just my opinion:
It feel in my gut that MC was not home..She may have only been a few doors down and probably checked in on the kids at 10 pm and went back to where she was for a little while. I think she got home just before RC.. and found HC gone and the door open and ect. I think she is afraid to tell the truth.

One other thing I noticed:

RC didn't look "into" the marriage. Sun glasses on , hand in pocket and a short hug/kiss at the end of the ceremony.

JMO but I don't see LE making a public statement that they find Misty's statements inconsistent in addition to stating that "she's the key" in this investigation as a diversion ploy of some type for several reasons but one being the fact that she is a seventeen year old girl. I think they would toy & ploy with somebody older (i.e,. Ron...) if that were the case - matter of fact I feel even more confident in their statement regarding their issues with Misty and view her myself as being "key" because of that. MOO

In as much as I'd hate to see anymore attorney get wrapped into this mees it seems like it really is necessary at this point for Ron. Especially now that Crystal and her mama are on this custody path. This is exactly what stinks to me. It really is a big fat red flag.

Crystal getting sued for support, Haleigh goes missing, Crystal gets lawyer and claims home unsafe now trying to remove RJ from RC. Yet for the past several years she has barely a mention of her children on her myspace page but lots of the new baby. If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck....................................................

I disagree with the above poster due to speaking with my uncle who is LE, you'd be surprised.

I have a feeling you may be right about Misty. I can remember when I had my 1st baby. We lived in a very close and small community. I was very young (20) and we'd go to the neighbors and sit outside and play cards. But my house was right there. I honestly do not see nor believe that she hurt that little girl!

Ugh. I wish Ronald never said that, but what is done is done. I am sure he wishes he could take it back, too. I guess I am the only one who thinks he was simply reacting out of fear and frustration of finding his daughter was missing and didn't take it as if he was "abusing" her. Sheesh! If I were Misty, I would have forgiven him that one time as long as I knew it was not a pattern with him to talk to me that way.

And perhaps Crystal's decision to speak out on GR was for the same reasons. She is clearly not as hotheaded as Ron. Her anger likely built up and rather than spouting four letter words at the people she loves, she decided to react in a different way.

Go figure?

Suspect that either Ron was involved also or he knows what did occur and they picked Misty to sqeeze because they think they have a better chance of breaking her than they do Ron > If she breaks and Ron is involved, she'll tell all, if they put the sqeeze on Ron first, more - not 100 % certainty - of a chance that he could hang tuff and hold out OR pin it all on Misty. We shall see...

I don't think sitting through an interrogation where someone is screaming and yelling at you while calling you a liar equates into how immature or mature you are!!! GMAB!! If it were me today (I consider myself pretty darn mature) and it happened...I would walk myself right out the door and not think twice!!

SeriouslySearching, do you think that LE would do this to Misty with no reason? Why call her a liar if her polygraph and story were in the clear?

I noticed that too. The look on her face and the sound of her voice was as if Ron had just punched her in the stomach (not literally, figuratively - don't want to start rumors) when she looked to him for "help" but he didn't reach out to help while she was drowning...moo
