Sheriff is looking for the one person who kidnapped Jacob. I believe he belongs to a GROUP. If they find out the name of the group, they will find the kidnapper. The group is hiding what they know. DR knows who is in the group or he is in the group. He can't tell who kidnapped Jacob or he will be in huge trouble with the dangerous group who bribes, kidnaps and kills people. (not a conspiracy, but a real live sex trafficking ring whose clients are rich or influential).

Why would this criminal element allow someone like DR to live? That makes no sense. It would be so easy for him to have an accident while running on lonely roads or trails, for instance.

I am not advocating this. I am merely stating that there is no reason to keep a person alive by threatenng them. Just do the job instead of hope they won't tell.
 
the court order has references to homosexual acts, bribery, telling them to go to North Carolina from Chicago and contacting people in New York.
These are all familiar cities from the article and from prior suspects. These guys may be dead though. Did someone take over for them?

I agree with you. I think I believe her too and am really leaning toward this theory. Because I've never been fully convinced DR is the perp, but he was just so suspicious and I've always believed there's a good chance he's covering for someone. And the sex ring aspect makes perfect sense because he asked their ages. I would really like to know what DR said under hypnosis or what the results of his polygraph test... I think it would be very interesting. Especially the hypnosis part. I also think LE may suspect or know he had a visitor and that could be a reason he's a POI. Since they never released WHY he's a POI...that could be it.
 
Human, maybe DR has some dirt on that person, or maybe he didn't know DR saw him until after the news reports and the area was "too hot" to go back and eliminate the witness. (too many police, fbi and news people)
 
It's a lot to digest, and easy to dismiss this and the franklin scandal as a "wild conspiracy theory" as many LE judges average citizens have done, but there are so many victims that have came forward with their stories that I have read and I have been in contact with a retired LE from NY who knew about the ring and investigated it for years. He has a lot of the data still. It makes sense. But again, LE is only concerned about the "one person" who took Jacob. That way, everyone else involved with "the group" will not get into trouble.

Why would the BCA and the FBI cover up Jacob's perp?
Obviously there are tons of hgh ranking people that are perverts. But there are whistleblowers that do come forward in all agencies.

Why take a child from an intact family when there are so many willing children who are desperate for attention and will not make a fuss?
 
I've said this before..but in my opinion we would be looking for three missing boys if this was for a sex ring.

Did either of you read the chickens and bulls article? They wanted a fresh faced kid from the midwest. Someone from the group lives nearby and saw Jacob maybe horseback riding, maybe ice skating. I think the information is too hard for anyone to think about. Too hard to think of who will get "caught" being a part of this group. Maybe a lot of people high up, influential, close to the case or on the case. I don't know who all was a part of it yet. Still researching. That is why DR looks like the Cheshire Cat. I am thinking Mossad may show up sometime soon. Mossad, am I on the right track?

You didn't ask me, and I'll be glad to be corrected; but, I just happened to be reading, and had just finished Wisdom's post, right before yours. I'm pretty certain that Wisdom meant that if it were a professional abduction for a sex ring, that, the perpetrator would've taken the three kids that night, Jacob and the others, Trevor and Aaron. Also, that way, No witnesses, they wouldn't even have been able to call 911 within a few minutes; just someone waiting for them to come home; thinking they should be back before long.
 
This is what makes this case so difficult to fully grasp, as we are not able to review the information collected by LE (not that we're entitled to), but -- without that knowledge we are left to creating our own theories based on what we know. Most of the theories can be supported in one way or another and none of them can be factually ruled out. Sometimes it feels like a bunch of legos on a table and we can see what fits where, but then those same components can be put together in another fashion and yet another. It is a fact that there is trafficking of children, and a number of similar looking boys in the same age group went missing in the midwestern region. Then we have DR, the unmarried teacher home alone when Jacob vanished in his driveway. Next there are the numerous sex offenders who live/lived in that area, some of whom can be named and other noteworthy ones who cannot. It is exceedingly frustrating!! Even though we come at the abduction from different points of view, at least in our own way we're infusing some good energy into Jacob's case. At least that's how I'm choosing to look at it. I personally feel terribly frustrated as I'm sure many do (Sasquatch I loved the post to Jacob's perp!) -- as Aaron said in the one video I watched yesterday, it's been so many years and yet no resolution. I think it should be solved by now too, but then it occurs to me that LE may be in the same quandary -- they have almost enough info but still missing a particular piece. I really appreciate the opportunity to learn new things and have seen how much I don't know about this case. Many thanks to all for providing information, ideas and theories, it is greatly appreciated.

wisdom, I am saying the one (or two) people from the pedo ring grabbed Jacob because it is easier for them to control one child- physically and mentally. Two children are more likely to escape. I wasn't sure if you were talking about the whole ring grabbing the children or one person. The person who "found" the child received money for each one found. The group would then set up the child with the rich john in New York or fly them places and take pictures or get info from the child of what happened. The story coming out in the news may be a different ring. The one I am researching, the group blackmailed the rich john into submission- give them all the money you have or I will tell your wife, boss, the news, etc. The story of the chickens and the bulls mostly focuses on the johns (bulls). What about the kids? Some were listed as missing.

human, the area is still "hot". Have you been down the road where Jacob was kidnapped lately? People still check to see who is driving down the street to see if they know them or not. All the residents are on high alert.

If you are asking someone about whether a secret group exists, the person you are asking would have to verify the group's existence.

I still like the Miracle on Ice Angle, maybe some other marginally famous Minnesotan was a part of this conspiracy and it was featured on the X Files and then America's Most Wanted. Black helicopters would solve the escape issue too.
