The news reports this week have convinced her of her husband’s hand in Adriaunna’s murder, and she now feels a breakup is imminent. She went to Greenfield on Tuesday to try to get a restraining order and was told that was not possible since he had not done anything to her or her daughters, she said.

“But, yes, there’s going to be a break,” she said “A divorce is ”coming soon.

So that's what it takes for his wife to have had enough. Have her husband outed for this crime. Nice to know. She also says “I want to believe that none of this happened, but everything points to Bobby,” she said. “People ask me how I could live this long with him not knowing what kind of person he was. But there’s never been anything there to ever suspect anything like this.”

Note to anyone willing to listen: Anger is a serious issue. If you've experienced it once, directly or just seen it rear it's ugly head, it's time to get the heck out, run and don't look back.

I guess the media is reporting it as southeast of town now. Looking on the map it looks like the creek is labeled North Fork Spring River. It would be south off of 79th Road. You have to really zoom in to see the little farm road that leads south off of 79th Road that goes to the creek. It seems that everybody has cleared out now.

I did a little research of sex offenders in my area. After my research, in my opinion the most glaring issues are with the prosecutors and judges. Apparently, first degree rape is a 10 year deferred sentence in Oklahoma (tongue in cheek but that seems to be the normal result of the court cases I looked at). Assault with intent to commit lewd molestation will get you a 5 year deferred, and then when you reoffend with the exact same offense--they throw the book at you with 1.5 years, but you will only serve 8 months.

Prosecutors, at least in my area, appear scared to go to trial. They plead everything and 90% are no jail time (even including violent sex offenses). Judges should not accept these pleas if it is not in the best interest of upholding the law.

Prosecutors in some of the areas I've lived in seem to be to lazy to prosecute and willing to accept pleas much to easily.

ETA: One of the Assistant Prosecutors in a county I lived in often bragged about his conviction record. Yeah, well I don't count winning 1 case and accepting plea bargains on the others winning a case. I just don't.

I think he did more than spank her, too. In fact I think he was beating her. It said she was lying on her back. If it was clear he had anger issues, and clearly the wife knew he did after the jaw punch to her, then he should not have been laying his hands on anyone in any fashion. Period.
I believe I read that in regards to his sister in law he shoved her and told her to get out of his house.

Yes, I am very upset about little Adriaunna, what a horrible way for her live to end. :RIP:

It appears that the mother of the four girls needs to have a serious private discussion with her four daughters and find out if this stepdad (such as he is) has put his hands on any of her daughters in any unwanted or not acceptable manners. You might find you have something for the court after all. Kids usually will hold things in rather than tell and chance breaking up a family. --- Let them know this is serious and dangerous. Also, they probably should not be aione with him by themselves.

I am just so sad...
My heart hurts so much for ALL of these teen girls that have been victimized by this monster! Not only poor Adriaunna and what she must have endured but also for her sister who was with her at the park. Then you have 4 beautiful girls who had to live with this sick man; and who knows what they may have endured at his hands! (We know he physically harmed at least one of them per court docs.)

My sincere hope is that these girls left behind will be able to get some counseling and someday be able to heal. Bless their tender hearts.:cry:

Actually, I felt Adriaunna appeared immature for her age. Many 12 year old girls have started their menses and some can look 18n yrs old or more. I think Adriaunna appears very child like...prepubertal...For some reason this case has bothered me more than any other of recent memory...Children can't play in parks or go to bathrooms at Best Buy any more.....This world of our needs to change.

Really? I think she looks like one of the youngest 12 year olds I've seen. I have a 13 year old niece, and live next door to a middle school...and boy...none of them looked that young!! (IMO.)

Thanks for doing that research. That is horrible. It's ridiculous. It's crazy. What's the purpose of the laws if the judges and prosecutors ate going to bend them that much?

Yeah, this is Missouri. No one is going to jail for spanking their step-daughter. IMO a break up should have been "imminent" a lot sooner than now.

You are probably right. I have all boys and was going by what I remembered of 12 years of age...WAAAAAYYYY back when I was that age.!! :facepalm:

I'm guessing things have changed quite a bit since then?

I didn't start wearing make up until I was a junior/senior in high school so don't go by me.
