To be honest it almost seems to me that maybe LE made a deal with Devils. I have not seen it said that they may add more charges after the "complete autopsy" as is usual in cases similar to this. There is a whole host of other charges that could have been filed such as manslaughter, abandonment of a body or even second degree murder. First Degree Child Abuse to me is light weight compared to what she has done.

So, trying to gain some insight timeline wise, from the first link it appears she asked if anyone had seen her baby oct.25, 7:10am.
(Another says 8:10 am)

That would be Thurs.

On Saturday she was talking about money and fundraising.

Sunday she was arguing with people on SM.

Then she added his photo on Monday at 8:27am.

(Pls double check for accuracy, feel free to add/ correct, no screenshots allowed)

It’s interesting to reflect upon how many of us maybe initially came here for cases unrelated to child abuse (missing adults, random abductions, child kindappings, etc), and now, perhaps unexpectedly, here we are now learning more about the prevalence of child abuse and murder each day together...We never know sometimes where a road may lead us. (I know some of you were likely well aware about all of this before WS...).

My eyes are really being opened more and more every day to the atrocities some of these poor children face.

Any news in the developments of Sherin’s and Lucas’ Law I wonder.

Well said, Margarita. I was just thinking about this. I came to WS originally to follow trials and research cold cases and now I am training to become a guardian ad litem. I think we need to be the good we so rarely see in these cases.

I’m sad bc in her profile pic Darnell looks so happy lying with her...

For him to have undergone... by someone...

Can’t get the words out.

Prosecutor: Caregiver charged, Darnell Gray suffered blunt and sharp force trauma injuries

From the above reference link:

“Overview
Injuries produced by pointed objects or objects with sharp edges are referred to as "sharp force injuries." Sharp force injuries are characterized by a relatively well-defined traumatic separation of tissues, occurring when a sharp-edged or pointed object comes into contact with the skin and underlying tissues. Three specific subtypes of sharp force injuries exist, as follows: stab wounds, incised wounds, and chop wounds.”

So bft and sft.

Court documents say Jefferson City boy suffered multiple injuries from blunt force trauma - Missourinet

givens-1

“The Jefferson City Police Department’s probable cause statement says an autopsy was performed on four-year-old Darnell Gray, who is identified as D.G. in the court documents. The probable cause statement says the autopsy indicated “multiple injuries caused by blunt force trauma and sharp force trauma to multiple locations of the body inflicted prior to death.”“

It seems she did lead them to Darnell’s body:

“The probable cause statement says Gray’s body was found Tuesday in the 2100 block of Louis Circle in Jefferson City, concealed in a wooded area. The court document quotes Givens as telling investigators she knew the location of the body, which was consistent with where Gray was located.“

I am wondering now about other babies where COD was indeterminable due to decomp, elements, etc.

LE found Darnell before she told them where he was. I think they mean where they found them matches where she said they would find him.

I believe these are holding charges and it's for the DA to decide on what charges will ultimately be brought.

I've read before that death of a child from child abuse is automatically a murder 1 charge in a lot of states? From reading what was found on autopsy--multiple blunt force and sharp force traumas--I'd be surprised it the charges aren't upped to murder 1.

I agree . One of the rumors I read (I guess I can mention it now that we know the truth?) was that she accidentally overdosed him on medication in an effort to make him sleep. Had that been the case, I could see lesser charges.

That's how she portrayed herself. She sure fooled Darnell's dad. Now we know she is a monster.

Fooled and a fool, and Darnell paid the price.

IMO, if you are entrusting your child's care to someone else, a background check of public records is the very least you should do. It's like these men and women get " in lust" and common sense--if they had any to begin with--goes out the window with regard to their children. Sex and free childcare become more important than their children's safety.

Parents, PLEASE, protect your children.

“Foul play was not suspected until we found Darnell’s body,” Williams said.“

I thought fowl play from the start. I know all from lucas case probably did as well. Sometimes being PC really stinks.

I am very poignant about not staying silent if i suspect abuse. I catch a lot of flack for it too. I sont care because a persons life is more important than my pride.

(Sometimes I wonder if LE fibs in these PCs...)
