So far I have come up with 8 persons living at/in the GP's house, I do think that one of the adults is the one that gave LE the heads up on who to talk to.

This just keeps getting worse and worse. I thought it was bad yesterday because TWO adults did not know where a SIX year old was for upwards of (obviously) an hour and a half or two hours. Now there is a possible FOUR adults in the home and NO ONE knew where a six year old was for this amount of time.

It seems to me that although they had custody of the children there was no one that was really aware of what the children were doing. I am sure if the six year old can "slip through the cracks" for a couple hours, a 15 year old could slip through the cracks for a couple days, months, or even the past couple of years without anyone noticing.

THIS IS MY OPINION AND ONLY MY OPINION.

I was reading a blog dated today...I have no idea if this blogger is reliable, as I just found it in a google blog search of AB. But it said something quite interesting...
First of all, I'm not sure how the blogger got his/her hands on this info, but it is really creepy. Apparently, in a MS blog entry from back in December of last year, so almost a whole year ago, AB wrote a story which described an assault of a young girl named Elizabeth. If this is true, this adds to the evidence that this was completely premeditated. AGAIN...this could be completely untrue, but I found it compelling nevertheless. The blogger doesn't say how he obtained the information. And I don't see how he could have unless he is a champion hacker/spoke with MS friends of AB. But again, like I said, if this is true...this shows that the crime wasn't committed in a split-second decision, out of anger. It's something more malicious, more thought-out than we realized.
Sorry if this is a re-post, and I'm sorry I can't verify the info.

When you take that into account with her friend's myspace blog from December 2008 entitled "elizabeth 2000- " that makes it all the more creepier and sinister.

I apologize in advance if this is known info here but I have not been following this case closely. I frequent another board (completely unrelated) and a local has posted some info regarding the teacher connection:
(url to post on another other site snipped)

I asked this question of a locals who were posting here yesterday, and one who knows the AB family stated that their impression is that his death was unrelated. He was sick.

Not just your opinion, but mine too, danni...

I also find it rather disturbing that there was a daycare being operated out of the home where this girl lived.

Are we now thinking that the 21 year old living at the home of AB was the one who wrote the note?

I always thought it was a family member that didn't want family to see them "talking" to LE.

From what I have seen there is no love loss between the two.

What made that worse for me was that the GPS apparently looked after other children but didnt know where the ones were that they had custody of.

Ya know the fact that a day care was being ran out of the other house didn't even bother me I mean bad things happen to good families. I mean the preacher of the Baptist church I grew up in had a son that was a convicted child molester! This ALL changed when I heard that they didn't know where the youngest child was for a LONG period of time, and that child was their own flesh and blood.

Honestly, I don't know what I think of this case anymore.

I had read that the little brother gave the letter over, now an adult member of the family. Who knows.

We see her lawyer in court, He is obviously NOT a public defender. Yet ILC said yesterday that Grandma and Grandpa are not going to/will not pay for a lawyer for her. If they aren't then who is? Dad is in prison, mom, well I perosnally don't think she would be able to afford it seeing her past/recent involvment in drugs. I know if my mom and dad, or my grandparents didn't get me a laywer there is no way my aunts, uncles, cousins or many friends would be doing it for me.

I think yesterday caused more confusion around here then it cleared anything up. lol

ILC did say that the lawyer has been taking juvie cases pro bono...??

I must have missed that post in my fit of rage yesterday!

ETA: So I knew what Pro-Bono meant, but I wanted to know the origin of the word. I found this.....
"Pro bono publico (usually shortened to pro bono) is a phrase derived from Latin meaning "for the public good". The term is generally used to describe professional work undertaken voluntarily and without payment as a public service."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro_bono_publico
I would not consider this a "pro-bono" case, I would consider this a case that the lawyer knows is going to get him some publicity so he is doing it for free. lol

:) When were you ragin? I don't remember that!

LOL I was so mad my fingers couldn't even type and everything they did type was not appropriate so it got the good old backspace button! Lets try not to do that again today!

Oh no! Well, that's good your fingers were helping you :) It's really hard to quell emotions in this case--it's unreal to me! Sadly, it is too real...

Been there done that, but it does feel good to type it out, then clear.

Having been raised by a mother who ran a licensed home daycare and as an adult who provided unlicensed home daycare for almost all of my neices and nephews, I too find the fact that a daycare was being run in that home highly disturbing.

This is my own feeling and I am not casting aspersions on the level of supervision daycare kids may or may not have been receiving in that home as I no nothing about the Grparents. But simply based on the info that is out there on the timelines and the apparent lack of supervision of the resident children, I shudder to think.

The post on the other site makes perfect sense, tho....noone wrote a letter....it was AB's own "creative writing" that turned her in. The teacher gave it to LE, horrified, then that coupled with his illness, just pushed him over. LE never said "a letter", they said "written evidence", iirc.
Make sense to anyone else?

Is it out of the realm of possibility that this 20ish guy "knew"?

There's an angle I had not thought of, but it would follow. you may be onto something. Could explain the written evidence and the subsequent teacher suicide. He realizes when EO goes missing that the creative writing paper from AB may connected, turns it over to LE and then when EO's body is found, coupled with his illness, it is all too much to emotionally bear.
