OR that's what he expects everyone to believe. For me, maybe cars left for a day is explained away, but not for several when he knows they go to work, and family is texting him; he lost me there, especially if he was home when she broke in just before police arrive.
But people would leave cars there longer if the weather was not safe for driving. JMO.

Article from The Guardian:

Most of the article is a re-hash of Picerno's statement.

I think the confusion over the use of the word 'sitting' is from this quote:
McGeeney’s cousin, Caleb McGeeney, told WDAF-TV: “Just the thought of [them] dying and them … sitting outside in the cold for two days [is] extremely devastating.”

IMO he means 'sitting' as in 'situated' rather than 'sitting down.'

Video of Banfield on News Nation interview with JW’s attorney:
Questions I have:
- If the three victims left the home out the front door I wonder who had a key to get back in. I mean, I’m only assuming people lock their doors in Kansas City? Who doesn’t these days.

- How can LE know it’s not a homicide investigation if they don’t yet know the COD of the victims? I guess I assume what they really mean is they don’t know.

IDK, but it does seem like the information is constantly changing.

But then Picerno confirmed to FOX4 on Monday that a fifth person was present and still there with the three victims when Willis went to sleep.

“At some point, he got tired and went to sleep while there were these guys in the home, and as I know now there was a couple of other people in the home,” Picerno said Monday.

...

Now one day later, Picerno said he misspoke. The attorney said Willis escorted the men to the door, said their goodbyes, then went back to the couch and fell asleep.

From same article posted above:

In an interview with NewsNation on Friday night, Picerno said his client had left the home sporadically on Monday and Tuesday.

He reversed course on Monday, saying that what he said was poorly phrased and offered a new explanation.

“What I meant to say on NewsNation is that he left — he was sleeping, and he left his bedroom sporadically,” he said.

On the same day that FOX4 confirmed these three bodies were found behind Willis’s home, we reached out to him to no avail, as well as to several of his family members.

A close family member got back with FOX4 and told us Willis said his friends “froze to death.” It’s something his attorney now argues he never said.

This isn't cool. I understand that their world is upside down right now and they want to know what happened but calling for JW to be arrested and saying that they think that he poisoned them is horrible (both in embedded video).

BBM. Are we certain she broke into the home? That is a crime. If she did break in, I certainly understand why the man moved out. I also do not understand why she waited two days and until nighttime to go over there. Police weren't called until after 9 PM.

We don't know where the cars were parked. We don't know if the resident of the home had a separate phone for work calls and ignored his personal phone or if the reason he didn't answer calls is because he didn't recognize who was calling. We don't know if the home had Ring doorbell cameras and perhaps that is why the three guests chose to use the back door to leave. So much about this case we still do not know.

Upon initial investigation, the evidence at the scene caused investigators to believe no crime had been committed. When toxicology reports come back they will move ahead, if they determine it is in their best interest they will release the findings. If they determine no further investigation is warranted they may inform family members and perhaps ask people to grant them privacy. Or they are waiting on toxicology reports and other forensic evidence before opening a criminal investigation. At this point it appears the other two people are not connected.

It seems their despair has inflamed their imagination. I’ve been through circumstances in my life where all I wanted to do was blame someone, so I do get it even though it’s over done. Up to JW’s lawyer and LE to protect him.

I have been to many parties where the homeowner was in bed before the party ended and people left at different times. They are friends and sometimes some bad *advertiser censored* happens to good people. Some people drink, some do drugs, some smoke some don't going outside to use something your friend does not want in his house is respectful even if he has gone to bed.

Yes but he said previous to that, he was home sporadically.

At first the attorney said, he didn't see them exit the house, now he walked them to the front door when they exited.

And those are just a couple of changes in the story. Why would an attorney's story of things change with so many contradictions?
Strictly a rhetorical question.
Bbm.
So, there was coming and going from this house after the three men were deceased ?

Watching Jeopardy? I thought of an idea - but I don't know if this realistically happens. What if a group of people are playing a drinking game, and someone unknowingly opens a bottle of counterfeit-something. Shots are poured, and everyone does the shot(s) at the same time?
Possible or nah?
Good point !^^^
Except, not everyone would have partaken in the game if so ?

That is true !
Except, according to his atty., what if he escorted them to the front door and bid them goodbye ?

Bolding mine.
Snipped for focus.
This changes things immensely, imo !

She says she broke into the home. There are pictures showing that someone removed a screen from a front-facing basement window. She says she broke a basement window and went in, then up to the main house and then found a body on the "back porch."

This DM article purports to show that porch, btw:

DM got the pictures from a real estate listing and it does appear to be the right house.

In the early articles, you can see the screen I mention. I have no reason to disbelieve the girlfriend.

Agreed.
Grief does terrible things to people.
Not from personal experience, but some friends of my parents are going through some changes that are not good after the car accident (no one was at fault -- icy road and a crash into trees) that took their only child, their son.

The families of the three deceased men need to let the death investigation take its' course.

Again I am very sorry for their terrible loss.
Omo.
