While in Ferguson, Sharpton met with the Brown family and reported back directly to Valerie Jarrett, one of Obama’s closest aides. Sharpton was directed to find out specific information, including what the Brown family wanted from the White House

The veteran activist, who is also leading Saturday’s march on Staten Island against alleged police brutality in New York, even suggested Jarrett turn up the heat on Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, a Democrat, and appoint a special prosecutor to replace St. Louis prosecutor Bob McCulloch in the Brown case.
“We’re not going to get a fair investigation with that guy, he’s got to go,” Sharpton told Jarrett, according to one person familiar with the exchange.

Appears he's close to this Administration.

With a little help from Marlon Marshall.

Marlon Marshall is special assistant to the President and Principal Deputy Director of Public Engagement.

The White House sent three officials to the funeral. One of them was Broderick Johnson, who leads the White House's My Brother's Keeper Task Force. He was joined by Marlon Marshall, a St. Louis native who attended high school with Brown's mother

Has Wade been taking his anti-psychotics?

Did you see all the tweets earlier where instigators were talking about being followed/surveilled/targeted? I think the Unified Command is hard at work.

And, hopefully, LE are earning lots of overtime pay. Ironic that protesters either don't know or care that they're causing that.

Nailing a "Chief Jacka-- Resign" sign to something. Wonder if that's vandalism?

Does anyone else have a problem watching Argus on Chrome? I get a black screen with sound. I have to watch it on Firefox. Any idea what the problem might be?

Is Mr. Sharpton an attorney???

No, not an attorney. And not a college graduate, either.

Sharpton graduated from Samuel J. Tilden High School in Brooklyn, and attended Brooklyn College, dropping out after two years in 1975.

And how did Rev Al become a minister? Apparently as a 4th grader.

Sharpton was licensed and ordained a Pentecostal minister by Bishop F. D. Washington at the age of nine[100] or ten.[101] After Bishop Washington's death in the late 1980s, Sharpton became a Baptist. He was re-baptized as a member of the Bethany Baptist Church in 1994 by the Reverend William Jones[34] and became a Baptist minister.[100][102]
