Details on arrests, peaceful protesters vs. non-peaceful ones etc. Many of the looters arrested are from Illinois and Texas. I hope they catch them all and make a Facebook page with all the details. SMH....

DeAndre Smith, fresh from looting the QuikTrip on a recent night, told reporters: “I’m proud of us. We deserve this, and this is what’s supposed to happen when there’s injustice in your community. St. Louis — not going to take this anymore.”

Edit- bad link, I'll post a working link in a moment.

The protests and rioting have always been about more than just MB.

If people keep refusing to acknowledge that, then I guarantee that we will see action like this again in the future.

However, they are DEMANDING that he be arrested immediately and insisting he be found gUILTY or else. Even Browns parents are making that demand. They said today on tv that the officer needs to be arrested, brought to justice, successfully, for them to have any resolution.

So Wilson is now a scapegoat. YES, the protests are about much more than Wilson, but he will be paying the price and will be sacrificed, in exchange.

Wow that attitude baffles the mind...

What MB's juvenile record was or wasn't doesn't matter, he is deceased, he no longer exists. IMO

I completely disagree. It matters a great deal. It speaks volumes on his character. It shows exactly how Mike would have reacted to a police officer stopping him.

If that's true, then the officer's friend who is supposedly telling his side is lying. She said that MB was taunting the officer when he was running and saying What, you gonna shoot me...MB wouldn't have said that if he has already been shot.

Confirmed earlier report that #MichaelBrown had juvenile arrest record involving second degree murder... Working on getting report #Ferguson

Me: Also, MB is not from Ferguson. He is from STL.

moo omo omho and all that jazz

But wouldnt he be in Juvie if he had been arrested for 2nd degree murder?

Why risk falsely accusing MB by discussing a yet unconfirmed juvie record?

"I'm proud of us." ????
"We deserve this."????

My brain cannot compute :scared:

Because an officer shot and killed MB, they deserve to steal things that don't belong to them???

People like DeAndre Smith are exploiting MB more than ALL the Al Sharptons, Crumps, Jesse Jacksons, etc in the world

You know what just struck me , every witness acknowledge that they only became witnesses after the event got to a shot - which in reality means most missed the stuff that is most in question, who was the instigator.

The phone call IMO matchs the autopsy much more than witness who picked the event up after it had it been going a bit - there is whole chunk (in the street officer leaving and then backing up etc)

Imo any info like that is a very strong indicator of an indivuduals relationship with law enforcement , the justice system, beleifs about caucaisians having more power and control. It is huge IMO in determining if his attidudes toward authority figures are an issue for him.
He said it is confirmed.

We have to be careful. It's just so pivotal to find out if it's rumor or fact. Maybe better done in a private chat.

He says confirmed. I know some I can call. I don't know how much a sealed record silences everyone who knows from being there.

And maybe it was unofficially deemed unsealed when he robbed the store? Or by death?

We need to talk to some lawyers.

If that's true, then the officer's friend who is supposedly telling his side is lying. She said that MB was taunting the officer when he was running and saying What, you gonna shoot me...MB wouldn't have said that if he has already been shot.

If his hand was "nicked" as they BOTH struggled over the weapon then Wilson had not "shot him". And if he had just smacked the officer around well enough MB could now walk away unmenaced then he might have been feeling very PROUD of his strength and ability to beat on the officer. He just put "the man" in his place, kwim?

At that point taunting the officer by saying "What are you going to do? Shoot me???" is believable. Oddly that happens far more than one would think, folks saying "what are you going to do, shoot me?" right before they get shot (happens with some frequency especially during domestic disputes, but also even during muggings).
