Yes, a great many untruths have been discovered/uncovered.
Just read the signs of the "protesters", what they are saying, all of it...not the truth at all.

My 22 yr old daughter, who is Jamaican and Swedish, was VERY upset when she first heard about this shooting. According to what she had 'heard', a high school kid was walking to grandma's, and was shot in the back for jaywalking, and refusing to go on the sidewalk. I agreed with her, and felt horrible about the case. Of course, after doing a little more research, ...was not exactly the way she was informed.

I talked to her about it yesterday and she has a much better understanding, and is now really angry at the looters and shooters. She feels it fuels the anger and makes it even more likely that black teens will be shot be LE in the future, because it fits the stereotype.

She is calling out the mainstream media trying to sanitize what we are seeing.

BTW she is mixed race, she's in the bottom right corner.

She's saying that the video they released of MB should have been released. She says the video doesn't paint MB in a bad light, MB and his actions put him in a bad light.

You lost me, who are you quoting?

You keep repeating this over and over. It is sickening. A young boy was shot to death!

Sorry.
I'm just voicing my opinion; right or wrong in other members minds.
:) I will just agree to disagree with you.

I think that so far we have been asked to not discuss the parents.
I haven't gotten into any trouble voicing my opinion regarding who I think the true victims are in this incident; the LEO and the shopkeeper.

Lol, that is patently obvious! You have made your view clear. ;)

I like to double check. I really don't want a TO, and want to follow the rules. That's all! :)

Megan Kelly is calling out all these politicians, with their demands for justice before the investigation is over. In particular she said about Governor "stay out of it."

I know someone earlier was saying "justice is the process," but the way it's being in used in this case, it's not what they mean. When all these people demand just for MBs family, they're talking about Wilson being convicted. IMO

She's going to have Baden on after the break.

:(.

Bbm.

It could have been the other way around - A young cop could have been beaten to death. It's sad either way, but we are allowed to have our opinions.
Yes definitely allowed to have opinions. That is fine but there are no facts available to us right now other than an unarmed boy was shot to death. We haven't even heard from the officer. It just irks me that people are making assumptions.... for reasons I don't even want to fathom. Regardless, there are many many victims in this case but no matter how you slice it Big Mike and his family are at the top of that list! IMO

I walked in at the end, she said it had to be "walked back"

I don't see anything on that women's twitter, I don't see a retraction.

Oh man gump is on now, he's admitting a "serious altercation" occurred at the car, Michael punched him and a shot went off."

When she said "but why would Wilson just shoot him like that?"

To which gump said, "I'm guessing b/c he was mad."

He believes there will be an indictment, "b/c there is enough evidence"

When Megan said, "but the defense doesn't get to defend himself"

He replied, "so"

When asked what if there is no indictment, I couldn't make out a word he said. Guy seriously mumbles.

Earlier she had on a police rep, who said the reason they haven't released an incident report is b/c they don't release them.

A retraction means it didn't happen. "Walking it back" means the reporter was not authorized to say it or the police source she got it from was not authorized to tell her. It was a terrible lapse of judgment on her part. Mission accomplished for the cops who wanted the info out there but her editors have to be fuming. Newspapers lose their credibility if their readers perceive they are in cahoots with the government.

No, he did not say punched, but he did say it was a serious interaction at the car. Then he went on to say what matters is what happened next. Megyn Kelly asked why he thought a cop with no disciplinary actions would shoot and kill a person 6 times- he said he guesses because the altercation at the car made him mad.

I would really like some clarification of that. It would be HUGE if so.

<modsnip> A young boy was shot to death!

That's unfortunate, obviously but if you assault an officer and try to steal his weapon, the officer has every right to protect himself and save his own life. I have no doubt that if Mike would have succeeded in getting Wilson's gun, it would be Wilson dead right now. IMO

Had the same experience with my 17 year old daughter.

She kept saying, "but it's on Instagram" we had a long talk
