I have been following this. So far no update on manner of death and identity, however each news source say its not related to an ongoing search. My daughter lives in Harrisonville and called me when she passed all the emergency vehicles.

I actually had just got done reading this and was coming to post about it. Something does not make sense whatsoever. Either the boyfriend is lying, or somewhere a long the way someone has got some information mixed into everything as a mistake? I thought JR and JM(JR's boyfriend) were at the party together. I also read where FL says Kylr has been at the same job since he was released in February. What was he released in February for though? According to FBOP he was released 08/2016.

Released in Feb however was on house probabtion until august

Kara worked at Popeye's Chicken. Before she went missing there was an incident where KY took her after she got off work from her job at Popeye's and tried to abduct her. She jumped out of his car when he stopped at a parking lot off the interstate and got away. She started the order of protection filing after this. I'm trying to figure out which Popeye's she worked at. Anyone have the police report or restraining order filing with the address? Also where she jumped out of the car would be good to know. I'm not sure if it would be useful to add the areas searched to the map but I found a description of a search for Kara that took place in 2011.
The area ranged from East 88 Terrace to East 90 Terrace, between Elm and Raytown road.

Nope that is why after hearing confirmation from someone who knows KY very well, I believe JR and KY were secretly seeing each other behind her boyfriends back. This is why in the video from crime watchers you see her car at his house. It was tapped back in June. She told her boyfriend she was going out with friends that night, did not mention KY. That is the only thing that makes sense to me.

I also think this is why her family wouldn't have known she was as close as she was to KY. It also gives him motive because I think she saw him for what he really is when he threw the fit at the party and probably tried to break things off with him...KY does not like rejection.! At least that's the conclusion we got when KK tried to break up with him and the Ex girlfriend he beat up as well.

Reporter mentions they searched an old building that used to house a die-casting plant. They also drained two ponds. Area is only 5 miles from where Kara was last seen.

The location on Nancy Grace map is near Belton Middle School today. Is it possible the middle school today was the high school back in 2007 and they built a new HS building since then?

I was just all over that page and the comments. Never even noticed the 666 running down the right side of his mug shot. So JM was not even at the party. I know JM and JR both liked or were tagged/commented on a post from KY AKA KP's FB page. I wonder if KY was into music to connect him to JM and tattoos to connect him to JR?

KY was a vocalist in a couple bands from around the time he was dating Kara to before he was arrested for drug trafficking. You can see pics on his myspace page linked toward the beginning of the thread and find some youtube vids. It seems he has only been tattooing "professionally" for a short time. The stolen equipment must have been his attempt at kickstarting his career.

The Basement

The story that I heard is that KK is burried in a house in west belton that at the time had new concrete poured in the basement, patio, and garage. Belton did investigate the property but turned down the help of KCPD to xray or use ground penetrating radar for the concrete. The house was owned by the drug dealer that went by the name "waffles" and was forclosed on. The new owners cooperated and for there sake I wont post the address. But this was all hearsay. But if it is true then i doubt the two are laying together.

I can't find anything about the high school moving either so unless a local says otherwise I think you have the right address. NG's people probably got it wrong. Not that it makes a huge difference, but the middle school location is really close to Jessica's house (about half a block away). If that were the location of the old HS I can see KY going by it on his way to visit JR and reliving his memories *shutter* of the day Kara went missing.

Nope the Popeyes is out of business but the address was 704 E North Ave, Belton, MO 64012 or in the same strip mall
