Then why would he leave it in plain site? I do think she was murdered in her car as well but I don't get his thought process off leaving it in plain site. Unless he was severely hung over and couldn't manage to function until later that day

I have no idea. It's obvious he's not the sharpest tool. I'm sorry for being graphic here, but it's possible he strangled her and there was no sign of blood but a cadaver dog would easily detect the fact that a body had been in there. And his fingerprints would have been all over the inside as well. Maybe that's why he left it out there, because it wasn't obvious on sight that a struggle had happened. I think KY had already put Jessica in the woods on Thursday night/early Friday morning and then he spent Friday sleeping off the night before and concocting his master plan to get out of town.

no center chest way above

I'm sorry  I can't make all of it out. I see the letters s, a, u, s, and another a. Then up by his shoulder an r, u, r, n...I have no clue what it says.

Why no charges yet in the death of Jessica Runions? Prosecutor says the case is still active

"His case remains under very active investigation," said Baker. [Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker] ... "The case remains under investigation. And hopefully, very soon, I can talk to you more broadly about that."
Meanwhile, investigators are still working to identify that second set of remains found in the woods along with Jessica's....Baker believes a team should be able to positively identity that second set of remains in the next 30 to 45 days.

I think the shoulder is burn. Also do we know if his brother has a criminal record? Obviously the gun was not on KY as a convicted felon he would have been arrested on site. Unless it was just loose in the car and his bro claimed it. If that's the case then the brother would have to be conviction free. At least on a felony level.

Yes, he has a pretty lengthy record. You can find him on Missouri case net.

in CA if a felon is in a vehicle w a gun it doesn't matter whose it is they are charged.

What is Missouri laws on felons and guns then? There had to have been a third person in the car.

Per Missouri Law: http://www.moga.mo.gov/mostatutes/stathtml/57100000701.html

Possession of firearm unlawful for certain persons--penalty--exception.

571.070. 1. A person commits the offense of unlawful possession of a firearm if such person knowingly has any firearm in his or her possession and:

(1) Such person has been convicted of a felony under the laws of this state, or of a crime under the laws of any state or of the United States which, if committed within this state, would be a felony; or

(2) Such person is a fugitive from justice, is habitually in an intoxicated or drugged condition, or is currently adjudged mentally incompetent.

2. Unlawful possession of a firearm is a class D felony.

3. The provisions of subdivision (1) of subsection 1 of this section shall not apply to the possession of an antique firearm.

KY also likely violated his parole by being in JC's presence. I cannot work out why they were allowed to drive away from the traffic stop, even if they were with a third person.

Interesting that the article said "now that her remains have been found..." when it hasn't been confirmed yet. I think we all know its her, but still.

i think we all have the inkling it is kara, but they have to dot their i's and cross their t's. i wish they could send the remans or dna to aindependant lab for faster service. but i just dont know how they work there in MO.

I haven't seen anything, but it's possible the remains have been sent to an outside lab such as University of North Texas' Center for Human Identification. Then again, it's also possible that the county ME is conducting the testing. Perhaps the FBI is continuing to assist the investigation by offering their resources and their staff are working to help make the identification. Maybe once the remains have been identified we'll know more about the process.

Sorry - that was a lot of possibilities there with no straight answers! A prosecutor connected to the case did say that he hopes he can talk more broadly about the investigation soon. http://www.kmbc.com/article/why-no-...secutor-says-the-case-is-still-active/9573306

I do have a feeling that this case is about to be torn wide open. I believe that truth and light always find win out in the end, even it takes ten+ years to get there.

Mus have been JCs GF that's in all his FB pictures because the article states the weapons charge were on the woman in the passenger side. I believe I have a solid name on her as well.

You know, even with LE in Clinton saying there was nothing in the system yet that would alert them at the time of the traffic stop that KY was a wanted man, I still cannot wrap my brain around how they were allowed to drive away from that traffic stop. I don't mean to harp on it but, for the love...Even taking away the impending missing person's investigation and the murder...If I had a record as long as KY's with a felony conviction to my name, and I was on probation due to a recent prison sentence for said felony conviction, and I was found in a car with another person who has a lengthy criminal background, and another person with a hand gun...And that car had been fleeing an officer at 70+ mph, and driving into oncoming traffic, I can just about guarantee you I'd be sitting in jail. And that's without even mentioning that the payments on the vehicle weren't being maintained and that the driver didn't have a valid license...I don't know, maybe I'm just used to living in a small town.

Our entire legal system is beyond crazy. My exhusband owes 70000 dollars in back child support, is a felon, with a felony warrant out on him but is still able to gamble and collect money in las vegas while holding a job that is taking federal with holdings out of his check in California. If that was me my mom would have my butt in prison faster than I could get in anymore trouble. Our legal system is a joke.

I ended up messaging JC on facebook after JR went missing. What he was telling me, wasn't making much sense regarding KY's involvement, which automatically made me more suspicious of JC.

My guess the girl that was in the car was JC's girlfriend, Crystal.

Yes it is! I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link, but the traffic stop shows up on case.net under JC's name. It says the stop was in Clinton, Missouri, which is in Henry County.

The article has been updated now http://www.kshb.com/news/local-news/kylr-yusts-brother-charged-after-traffic-stop-day-jessica-runions-car-found-burnt

According to court records, a sheriff’s deputy spotted a pick-up truck driving erratically in the 400 block of Northeast 2 Highway in Windsor on Sept. 10, 2016

Even a photo of the location

Jessep-Henry-Co-traiffic-stop_1493332118370_58940704_ver1.0_640_480.JPG

I'll locate and add to the map

ETA: Added to the Case Map

2 locations, the 400 block of NE Hwy 2 where the truck was spotted driving erratically and the 1000 block (above pic) where they were pulled over. 7 1/2 Miles !

I'm surprised in a way he reacted.. I've been wanting to contact several people on Facebook who are somewhat involved in this case but for some reason I don't "dare" to.
