"I noticed a change (in Yust) when we had gone in the house. I always lock the back door out of habit, and I guess he got left out." Yust was "aggressive" when he got in the house, charging in and jumping on the bed. "It was, I don't know, very intimidating," Alvarado said.

Things got better again, he testified, with Kylr and Jessica "sitting on each other" and "making cat noises to each other, so I thought that was pretty silly," Alvarado said.​

Kylr got upset when he learned that Jessica deleted pictures off of Facebook that were of Jessica and Kylr together. Later on Kylr thought Alan was making a move on Jessica by extending the initial invite to her but Alan told Kylr that he's gay.

He was upset with me saying I wanted to hang out with Jessica, and I said, "hey, no, I'm gay. So there's no problem there." But, he said, "he grabbed me by my shoulders and arm and dug his nails into me." Alvarado later reported the incident to the police. "It scared me," he said

They leave the traffic stop. They got back to Edwards around morning time. Jessep brought Kylr inside a trailer. Jessep took some non-perishable items to Kylr. The trailer belonged to one of Jessep's life long friends. The trailer had sat empty for a while.
