I've been reading through the thread looking for the official time of the MPR for Ronnie Allen Bolin. Does anyone have this info please? :help:

Note: yes I do have the car-wash time ~2:30pm 9th July 1996

Hope this helps, attaching a few links. The second link is interesting, because the date is totally different. (Maybe that is just when it was added to a county database.) Even more interesting (as I pointed out a couple of days ago) 70% of the "missing" listed on the Jefferson County database are from HILLSBORO, MO. (insert "really!?" emoticon)
https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/4461/25
http://www.mshp.dps.missouri.gov/CJ51/Search?personType=&county=Jefferson
http://www.jcsd.org/Missing.htm

If you really want to keep track, I suggest a 6ft white board, with lots of different color dry erase pens....and a huge stack of sticky notes!! There is so much going on.... very difficult to follow at times.

Population of Jefferson county: 219,733
Population of Hillsboro, MO: 2821
(From their wikis)

So 70% of the missing, with just over 1% of the population.

No wonder people are afraid to get verified.

I think caves is a very good possibility, but I also think we can keep construction sites on the list as well. I don't think security cameras were used as much back then, and even if they were all you had to do was steal the vhs tape in it.

Especially, if they owned the construction business. They would make sure to work around the security issue.

Here is info about a construction company owned by CWW (aka WW) brought over from his thread, posted by creepingskills. The company was/is known as Imagitrax and was a heavy equipment company. The following links will show what type of work the company could do and connections with the Lifkas as we discussed on the CWW thread. It seems clear that at one time (not sure when) CWW had access to heavy equipment and construction sites. He could easily have disappeared Bolin's body this way, if he had this company at the time Bolin disappeared in 1996. JMO

This describes the type of work done by companies under NAICS code 238910...

NAICS 238910 Site Preparation Contractors Description
This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in site preparation activities, such as excavating and grading, demolition of buildings and other structures, and septic system installation. Earth moving and land clearing for all types of sites (e.g., building, nonbuilding, mining) is included in this industry. Establishments primarily engaged in construction equipment rental with operator (except cranes) are also included.

Be careful that that particular statistic may be skewered by a zip code. I live in an unincorporated part of a county but am serviced by the post office from the closest city in the county. My mailing address is that city, even though I don't live in it. I think if I went missing, I'd appear to be missing from that city as my identification/mailing address all say that city. Does that make sense? Has anyone studied a zip code map to see if that might be the case in Jefferson County?
But your point is still a good point. Even 14 out of the 200K population is high.

There appears to be only one zip code for Hillsboro, and here is a map of the area it covers.

*You may need to zoom out on the map to see the entire area.

On a side note, the other evening, I went through Jefferson County cases here on the forum. I'm not exaggerating much when I say almost every state has a county named Jefferson. So I created a subtag on all the Missouri cases for a quick reference. For those interested in reading other threads in this area, they're all linked together with this tag.

OT--That's really nifty Kate! Is that something only mods can do? In Jackson county Oregon, where I live, there are 24 cold cases. I just finished posting links to 10 of those cases on Stephanie Warner's thread (my signature case) to give us some perspective. There may be more than 10 threads on WS, but that's all I posted. :)
It would be nice to have them all in one place for reference. Is that something I can do?

It's peculiar that the Jefferson county link only shows seven missing, but the one from the Highway patrol shows many more. When I looked at the posters available, I found that three were not from Hillsboro, which changes the percentage a little, but it's still high*. Peggy Alt was from High Ridge (and would have been a contemporary of CWW and MS, although not the same school probably), Mark Maty was from Pacific, and Walter Culp was from Crystal City (adding to their count). I find inaccuracies happen a fair amount in these listings. Ronnie Bolin is listed as missing in 2003 on the Highway Patrol list!

*I mentioned earlier that there are two who went missing this summer. Now there is a third on 9/20...Cassie A Casey born in 1998, also Hillsboro, so add one back for Hillsboro. I haven't found anything in MSM about her. Maybe it's too soon.

LILIBET & CREEPINGSKILLS Thank you for providing all the info on the "construction sites" ....especially land prep & grading. It sounds plausible for hiding a body, in a "big city" type of crime....but "to me" it seems too risky and holds a high chance of discovery. (Remember: "we are a small community and everybody knows what everyone else is doing") Support industry, day workers, building inspectors, permits, and you'd have to be sure of the timing of the project, etc. I'm going to keep the "rural location" on the table. Curious local teens would have found quite a few when they used to go fishing, hiking, hunting, exploring etc. (Yep, the things adolescents used to do before XBOX!)
A cave opening doesn't have to be very large, and may be covered/disguised by vegetation, rocks... (example only)

WylieCoyote I nominate you for the best "one-liners" of the day. I don't mean any disrespect, sometimes I am tempted to throw in a few cliches, too. (insert RESTRAINT emoticon for me...because I've got tons of "eye rolling groaners")

Yes, you can. Anyone can add tags. It's most helpful, too, if members will follow the syntax that existing threads have. Like MO missing, MO uid, MO cold case, MO murder, etc., and county always spelled out so it will group with the hundreds/thousands of existing tags entered.

Thanks IQ - white board cleared; ready for action...

What time period are we looking at for possible CWW activity?
Do we know when he was in 'the big house' and out of action in order to exclude dates?

I do believe that Ronnie Bolin will fit into 'the time period'; without a doubt IMO.

Maybe an insider will see this and respond through the mods in the locked thread: Did CWW attend the same church as Ronnie Bolin?

Didn't see this link posted yet. Cold case detective in MO said CWW and RB were close associates and had gone to school together.

CWW and Bolin are about 5 years apart aren't they? I wonder why CWW is usually referred to as a "childhood friend" of Bolin's. And when did they go to school "together"? Perhaps college? I expect they knew each other as children, but a 10 year old, for example, isn't usually "friends" with a kid that much younger IMO. The gap narrows in the late teens, so I can see them being friends when Bolin was in his early 20's. Maybe I'm just being too literal. :)

different article/different source about where and when they met:

"Bolin and Wright, now 47, met as teens through church, said a Bolin relative who asked not be publicly named."

Thanks! I had forgotten about that article. I'm afraid my brain is suffering from overload in this case and is starting to sift out details. :) Teens makes more sense, as does meeting at church and becoming friends.
