She legally doesn't have to disclose; but the tenant asked to be let out of the lease because a 2yr old child was freaked out down there. Thankfully the St Louis Housing Authority got her out of her lease.

Good point-I would be interested to know why the child was said to be black. She was too young to have pubic hair. I wonder if she wasn't just presumed black because of the neighborhood. There are other dark skinned races as you mentioned plus others like the peoples of southern India, Australia and certain islands of the Indian and western Pacific oceans.

This one. But there was a skull found nearby that was said to be admixture if native or maybe Hispanic descent. Maybe with further research it would be found to be from indies or something and ppl from the islands typically are black.

How did they determine her age? Isn't that usually done using teeth?

The reason I ask is that her hands look like they belong to someone older...

Teeth are a big clue, but so the growth plates of the long bones, the shape of the pelvic bone, whether secondary sexual characteristics such as body hair had begun to develop, etc.

I've always thought she could be slightly older, there are some very underdeveloped 12-14 year olds.

It seems possible. On the other hand, a girl who gets her growth early can look way older on the outside than she is hormonally and emotionally. I had a friend who was five and a half feet tall when she was eleven, but hadn't matured sexually at all. A time or two when we were out, people took her for my mother just because she was tall with a husky build.

is there anyway for us to see who's been ruled out as a match for this girls identity?
im not sure if this already been mentioned on this thread but i read that they tested her remains and found out that she most likely was from the southern states of the USA
