It's like working a midnight shift. Putting my self through grad school I worked midnights at a diner. The days I didn't have classes I would leave work at 5:30 am and grab a beer with others that worked the same shift. Just because it doesn't fit in society norm pattern doesn't make it wrong. It's just flipped from those that work 9-5.

However, about a month from now a year ago my life really started to turn ******. I had no friends in my hometown and I hated school and I wanted to leave so bad and I felt like no one believed in me and every step forward was two steps back. I remember working at the hotel at this time last year and spending every night looking for colleges and apartments and exploring my options. When I decided I wanted to move my parents were doing everything they could to get me to stay. I lost my good paying hotel job and had to work at the YMCA again. I had no help and the money wasn’t good enough so I turned to selling drugs in attempt to make money to move faster. Fast forward to October. I’m three months past when I expected to move. I was behind on money. I wasn’t in school. I was very unhappy. I was pulled over with six grams of MDMA and 30 hits of LSD in my car. I prefer not to talk about the rest of this experience, but it’s an absolute ****ing miracle that I’m not in prison right now. My life was almost completely ruined and I had to hide for the remainder of my time in Wichita.


About a month later I moved to Kansas City. Everything has done a complete 180. I have three jobs. I’m in school. I have a new car. I have a loft downtown. I travel and write media for festivals. It’s absolutely crazy to me that only a year ago I was just beginning to formulate the idea of being here in my head. I’m absolutely ecstatic with the way my life is going and I only plan on more awesome things to come. I have a new sense of empathy and gratefulness for life.

I’m so fortunate to be here living the life that I do."

It would explain a lot. I just hope that she is ok, and then if there is issues of this nature, she can begin sorting them out.

I hope it is something like she just needed to get away for a while because she felt trapped in some way. That'd be far better ending to this case than something tragic.
 
Let me see if I have this right. Toni turned left onto 31st headed toward Southwest Blvd and then who knows where?
 
By having to hide for the remainder of time in Wichita, is she saying there's probably a warrant for her arrest there? Maybe that's where she is - in jail in Wichita?

A more likely theory would be she was hiding from the people who supplied her with drugs that she would have lost when busted and most likely still owed them money for. How she got away with no jail time is what i want to know because ratting out a drug supplier to get off easy from the police isn't going to go over very well with whoever is in the drug organization.
 
This girl was surrounded by dangerous things it seems.

Bad driving- maybe an accident

Boyfriend troubles- we know sometimes how that ends and he is already a criminal

Sugar Daddy sites- could lead to all kinds of dangers

Selling drugs- could have crossed the wrong person or people to avoid jail. Could have made a deal with the wrong person.

Her job- could have collected a stalker or refused services to a jealous crazy person.

I don't think this will have a happy ending unfortunately.

I think the male in the last text is being protected by the police because he is either married, well known, has a life outside of his nighttime activities and they know the circus that will follow releasing his name. Until and unless they know he is responsible for her disappearance or worse, I don't think his name will be released.

No, I believe she meant that she got out of the prison sentence. Which kind of falls in line with what some here have suggested about her possibly being a confidential informant as a part of escaping some kind of charge in the past.

I could see something like that being a reason someone would want to disappear. So that would explain why she was searching for that kind of information and actually tweeted it.

The amount of drugs she was caught with would be worth somewhere in the $400-$1000 range, depending, so not that much.

More likely she ratted on somebody to stay out of jail.

Kind of thinking she was no more than a small player, and she could not give cops any siginificant drug dealer, at least she herself does not seem be very concerned about, otherwise she would not put these information online
 
Whew, after speed reading through this thread I'm equally confused and concerned. Thought I'd chime in with a few things:

Regarding a possible money scheme. The bf tweeted about scheming with his girl on January 2. A major story in the news and online a few weeks back was Sherri Papini, because other women in her area were reported missing. (No I dont want to talk about SP) The point of that is missing people + money scams are only a couple clicks in while reading about SP online.

Regarding the cop that pulled her over - kind of him to escort her to a gas station. Not sure if that's a common thing. I admit I'm confused on the time line but if she needed gas why not get it earlier?

Are QTs open inside 24 hours? If her account declined an atm withdrawal, I'd assume it was for a large amount if she had enough for gas. (Assuming she didn't have another credit card and didn't go in to pay cash)

Regarding the boyfriends face - I have a friend with terrible anxiety. She will get little breakouts on her chin and pick at them like a mad woman. It's like acne but different, similar to what you see with drug users.

There's usually 1 or 2 possibilities that I gravitate towards. But with this case, it could be anything that's been thrown out there IMO. I hope she is okay, gets home and ditches the boy. I'm just not feeling him. :sorry:

What was the drug again? What is that name again? Necterbass? Whats that one missing guy in LA in the same buzz music and...might not be connected really. Might just be the hip thing to do for some right now. Yes. Much of the lifestyle choice Toni has lived are high risk. The getting busted part is the only thing that really bothers me. She could be sold into the sex trade to.

After watching the video of her driving thru the QT parking lot it appears to me she was heading south thru the lot. There happens to be a stand alone Bank of America ATM right there, could that be the declined ATM withdrawal spot?? Google maps if your interested in seeing it.

Further more if she pulled out of the exit there then she would of had to head north and wouldn't of been able to make a u turn at the light there because there is a no u turn sign PLUS she could've easily just went out of the exit on 26th and waited at the light to make a left and head back to downtown.

*I can't tell from the clip I saw that she actually leaves the parking lot*
