It's VERY important to NOT dismiss anything we truly know nothing really. To dismiss the fake cop theory is mistake. I'm not saying that happened but to dismiss it NO WAY. Keep all options open as I said we keep going off 1 friends quote we don't know what that text meant. It's highly possible a fake cop is involved because we have FACTS that a women was chased down by a fake cop already along the same route. We have to very least consider it. I think everyone on here gives great insight. I'm just saying keep a open mind. Who knows this case is crazy.

if you mean the incident that happened just the other night - i think its entirely unclear what happened, we only know what is alleged.

Thinking back to the girl on FB who was indeed chased by a fake cop. She said the lights seemed similar to real cop lights. I think it's very possible toni was stopped before the text at 4:42 am or after but definitely before could be a possibility. Remember she was just stopped so if she sees anything that resembles cop lights she going to be worried and could have text that as she was getting ready to pull over for the cop or cops. So the theory holds weight. Who is to say the fake cop was not right there when she pulled out down the road. Even though I see the points on why to dismiss it there are to many unknowns to discount it.

The video was up today it's clear something was up and based on what she said I think it's pretty clear it's odd it's in same area.

I'm glad the BF and friends starting a petition for footage to be released. It's been 14 days. They need to hire a private investigator there are so many big cases in KC the police can't keep up. Police told family "try to go back to normal" we keep you updated lol okay right police smh. I pray they hire a private investigator it can't hurt.

"Toni Andersons BF/friends starting petition demanding to see dashcam/surv. footage from police"
So glad to see this. It's good to see a shift towards demanding information rather than what appeared to be a strong focus on raising money initially. I'm still completely up in the air on theories, but watching closely for updates. Hopefully she's found soon!

Ace, thank you for the tip. I found and saw the video.

That's really crazy that a fake cop tried to pull her friend over. It appears this other girl also frequented (worked at?) the shady lady too. Not sure what is going on here, but I wouldn't dismiss this as a red herring based only on the timing. Maybe the guy was already following Toni when she got pulled over by the real cop.

Toni had her own apartment with her boyfriend, and was renting out the couch in her apartment via airbnb.

Toni and her boyfriend were also renting out their bedroom in the apartment per AirBNB. There were a few reviews that stated if you rented the bedroom, you may have another single guest staying on the couch. They seem to have all good reviews except for the most recent one about the bedroom rental which stated the apartment was completely trashed, bed sheets were dirty, and the people ended up not staying there and getting a hotel instead. All other reviews seem to have been good for both bedroom and couch stays.
----

In regards to the picture of the friends phone with the text from Toni the media is showing us about getting pulled over again. My only thing with this is the texting that took place looks like it is missing conversation. As of right now, I think it seems to me something that is evidence but without viewing the actual phone records of both Toni's and her friends phone we can't see if there is any missing texts on that phone conversation. So we have to assume it is right.

Also in other local missing cases over the years throughout the Kansas City area, if there is video of said missing person they seem to release it in a timely manner to give what they had on that day, etc.

Not to add yet another possibility to the pot full of possibilities, but there have been cases where a woman has been followed for an extended period of time with the suspect waiting for the right moment to strike. The most extreme example I know of is a case that happened many years ago.

A woman was gambling at one of the casinos in Tunica, MS and it turned out she was being watched by a man who followed her around the casino for quite a long time. When she left the casino the man followed her from Tunica to Memphis (about an hour drive, or longer). When she got to Memphis she went to her babysitter's house to pick up her children, but when she got out of her car the guy ran up and hit her over the head, put her in this car, and drove off with her while her babysitter and a woman across the street both watched and called 911. She was found weeks later murdered with the cash she won and all her jewelry missing.

It turned out that all the cameras at the casino, both inside and out, had proof of him following her around all night, waiting while she cashed out, going to his car right after her (a security guard escorted her), and then leaving at the same time she did, exiting right behind her.

I feel the cops know as much as they can and maybe know who did something and that's why we're just not hearing much. I understand them being this way if they're sure they know what happened, but if it's just a hunch and no strong suspect, they need to release more info so we can help.

There's a forensic files episode about that case on YouTube I think.

Boy oh boy, that's a tough one. I have to believe Police are not releasing the video for a reason. Let police do their work. The case has not come to a halt and I have to trust. On the other hand if it were my daughter I would want to see the video.

Woman tells KC police that man impersonating officer tried to pull her over twice on 71-Highway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A local woman encountered a terrifying situation over the weekend when a man impersonating a police officer tried to pull her over twice.

When reporting the terrifying encounter the woman said she did not want to leave her name. She just wanted to get the word out to warn everyone about a possible fake cop.

Detectives say they are investigating the issue.

The woman gave police the description of the vehicle and the license plate number. Police say they are looking for a blue Chrysler Van but did not release the license plate number, but they did say it had lights on the dashboard.

TIPS Hotline 816-474-TIPS

Police tell FOX 4 the woman did the right thing when she was suspicious by calling 911. Kansas City police say their officers will have clearly identifying police markings on their uniform, clothing or badge.

Been following this from the beginning, and I was surprised to see no mention of the Twitter post on her page from the Friday before she went missing:

#BringToniHome ‏@Tonianderson2
if this ice storm doesn't live up to expectations i'm going to have to sue the weather channel for ****ing up my money for the whole weekend

i thought it was clear she meant that the predicted ice storm would cause less people to come out, and therefore hurt her tips. are you reading something else into it?

I agree. And the fake cop thing from the other day isn't the only one from the area lately. It's happened a few other times.
I've been trying to follow along. Seems Toni was a stripper. She has a boyfriend, did he usually go to the club with her? Or what was he doing when she was working? Who reported her missing and when?
Per her Twitter account, she was either using drugs, or wanted to give the impression she was. Could she owe someone money?

One Twitter photo was in reference to supporting sex workers. Was Toni also in the sex worker trade? If so, did she have a John, or was she doing this solo? Was she to meet up with someone after leaving the club that night for sex, drugs, or money? How many of her friends would have been awake at that time of morning unless it was a coworker or bouncer or bartender, etc from the club?

While I see her leaving on her own, since the vehicle isn't able to be traced, nor her phone,, I can also see where there could be foul play. I'm just not sure we have enough facts to go either way. With a risky lifestyle *NOT JUDGING OR BASHING* there comes dangers. So definitely could see how she could become a victim in many ways.

As leaving the gas station, where I assume she was successful in getting gas wtih another card, where's the nearest pond, lake, or ravine? She could have wrecked after leaving there and the car be hidden, or people just aren't looking at where it is.

Come home Toni!

Just thinking she was about to make some big money by going somewhere.. Maybe "with" someone.

Yeah - it was on the news a lot in Little Rock when it happened since we're so close to Memphis. What happened to her has really stuck with me over the years as proof of just how far someone is willing to go to carry out an abduction.
