Wanted to post that there will be a special news investigative report tonight on channel 17 ABC about sex trafficking in mid Missouri. It is not about this case in particular but apparently interviews a worker from a club and what really goes on in them. Also about how dancers (etc.) are moved around the country and so on. After it airs I will try to link it.

I agree that LE knows exponentially more than the rest of us.. with no car showing up after 3 weeks.. it has to be in a garage, barn, underwater, or in a very large city.. like Chicago size. I lean toward her going to meet someone.. and he is a bad guy. Obviously he lives near that QT.

If she is prone to being pulled over, I doubt that the car is still on the road.

I agree. There are also a lot of license plate readers out there, many associated with the repo industry.

Her car probably has payments and somebody is going to want their car back if those payments aren't made.

So can the company not receiving payments put out a GPS location on the car?

How would they be able to do that? Unless there's a secret tracker on the car installed from the date of purchase, although I'm sure that's illegal. I know some lower-end used car lots will sometime install these just to make repossessing them easier. I'm doubting her car applies to this situation though. I suspect it's in someone's garage if it hasn't been spotted yet. It's not easy to hide a car.

Dateline NBC just posted an article:
http://www.nbcnews.com/feature/miss...i-anderson-after-strange-text-message-n717286

"Few clues have been found in the case, and authorities have not released whether they've located any significant pieces of evidence. Toni's 2014 black Ford Focus with licenses plate 989 GAX also remains missing."

All inquiring minds should want to know if someone followed Toni out of the QT. Why didn't Trost post the exact text message?

When asked why they are pressuring police to release the footage, Jared told Dateline, "Let's just say we want things to be confirmed for us and be sure everything is out there. It would put us at ease that something corrupt isn't going on."

OMG just just pulled over again
is exactly what she sent to her friend.

At 4:42 a.m., one of Toni's close friends, Roxy Townsend, received that text, "Omg I just got pulled over again." It's unclear if that text was sent in reference to the North Kansas City officer's stop or if Toni had been pulled over again after that.

I am happy to see the word "reportedly" used when referring to her meeting friends.

"and was reportedly headed to meet friends across town."

Didn't her boss tell her she should go right home?
Maybe she told him where she was headed and he didn't think it was a good idea

Just a thought!

Do you have a source for this? I feel like unless her boss is directly quoted as saying that, we aren't really sure what her coworkers or boss did or said when she left. Even then, its not hard evidence. I'm just worried about all of the speculation/hearsay that may come out of this forum and possibly affect the case even in a seemingly insignificant way.

No I. Read it here. Somewhere.

I forgot to mention in the earlier post regarding the ABC17 report about mid Missouri trafficking and strip clubs that it is out of Columbia MO station. I could be wrong but didn't Toni get a ticket in Columbia? There is a possibility that she came to Columbia as a "feature" performer where they get paid instead of having to pay the house. The report airs at 10PM.

JMO's

so speaking of this:
How could it still ping if her phone went "dark" the night before at 9:30pm. Maybe it pinged Sunday morning at 6am?

So she had plenty of time when she left QT at 4:53am to drive near Parkville. Almost an hour and 10 minutes. How long would it take her to drive from that QT to Parkville?
TIA!

Of course they do! They just don't like to share with us!

:tyou: when I clicked on the video there it disappeared, so I went to JHelmuth's twitter account. I noticed that on his tweet of Jan. 26th he has a missing poster and all it says now is she went missing on January 16, 2017. No "approximately at 3am".

k - went to the video - and it says "The media could not be played" :gaah:

k - in the article it says The manager of Chrome sat with a detective for hours Wednesday, going through surveillance footage, looking for any clues as to what happened to Toni.

but you have around 4a.m. - but if the detective & manager have gone thru the surveillance footage, they know that she left exactly at 4:11am. So I'm going to keep that time in my timeline!

also says approximately 4:20am when the officer pulled her over, so I will keep it at 4:25am. Not arguing with ya - just that I've heard Snapp say 4:25am was when she was pulled over.

okay - from reading this page - the 6am Monday ping is RUMOR!! or Rumour as Skibs wrote! :D I will NOT put this on the timeline until verified by MSM or police. Thanks for straightening that out! Anyway, it would be logical if the last ping was 6am SUNDAY morning, since her phone went "dark" on Sunday night at 9:30pm.

just read this - PARKVILLE, Mo. -- The boyfriend of a missing Kansas City woman said he has been searching English Landing Park in Parkville for her. Pete Sanchez said a source told him that Toni Anderson's phone last pinged there. Police will not confirm the information to FOX 4.

a "source" - okay rumor!

Helmuth has her pumping gas at 4:40 and heavy.com says she left thereafter. This narrow window between when she left and sent the text provides the best reason for suspicion, IME. This detailed info tells us an officer was watching Toni when she left and may have followed her out.

It seems logical that her friends are considering the same thing. It's important to acknowledge that she already knew the outcome of the stop near the QT and it amounted to an afterthought just as Snapp has said himself. Logic dictates that she thought she was being pulled over when writing her last text at 4:42.

KCPD confirms Toni Anderson was last seen by them at Quick Trip on Burlington in North KC at 4:40 am Sunday. Watched her pump gas.

She left the gas station about 4:40 a.m., police said. She then texted her friend to tell her about being stopped by police.

I just finished reading through all three threads, and did not see this noted. If it was, I apologize for bringing it up again. On the text image from her friend, Toni's friend's message "Whyy" shows up as blue, indicating that Toni's phone was still connected to the network. When I text a friend whose phone is not connected to the network (a lot of my friends are nurses in a hospital with zero reception) the texts to them show green and a message underneath them says "Sent as a text message." So add to the pile of factual information that her phone was connected to the network at that time. That message wasn't read (which was already discussed.)

I haven't read thru every single post recently but I implore people to look at what they call the "caves". There is not one location but MANY in the area. I really don't get why these locations haven't been explored yet! Or for that matter why everyone seems to pass this notion by that her car could in fact be at one of these places.

Why isn't there more information about the phone data from 5:00am to 9:30pm - when the phone went off? Hard to believe someone so active on SM wouldn't see any activity for 16 hours

I wish I had a delete option.
I wish I had or could see the thank spaces under posts.
I could go on but I won't loll
I can't type to well here either.

Special Report: Sex trafficking in Mid-Missouri

By: Taylor Petras

"In 2015, 365 cases of human trafficking were called in to the national hotline from Missouri, placing the state*15th in the country for the highest number of reported cases,*according to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center."

"The hardest thing is just knowing that there’s help out there, because society doesn’t see us as a victim a lot of times," she said. "They see us as we’re the ones doing the wrong."

In regard to the request for me to remove a post:

I believe it is very plausible that Toni could be a victim of Human trafficking as any other possibility presented throughout the threads in this case. Each poster is entitled to their opinions, as I respect.

I don't intend to get into a circular debate with any particular person(s) that have a differing view or opinion. Should someone disagree with that I would suggest using the triangle at the bottom left of the post to alert a mod for review rather than address me to remove a post.

Thank you and as usual, my opinion unless linked otherwise.
