Plus even if we saw the plate on video. We still can't say if it was her plate since people can switch plates. Jmo

Steele man angle could not view the license plate. You'd have to be caddie corner of the angle in the photo to get the best view.

Ok- I have played with the tonal values of these pics. The original one I posted seems to show a white rectangular object on trunk. I believe that is a reflection of lighting. The following are 2 photos that I have taken out the reflection as much as possible. In the second one I see a reflection of the ford emblem. No plate. Tell me what you guys see.

According to this tweet, the plates match via the mom.

#BREAKING Toni Anderson was driving a black Ford Focus when she was last seen. Mom just confirmed with @KCTV5 that the plates match.

Is that an assumption? or a fact?

What is the probability that the plate is on the trunk?

What is the probability that the plate is not on the trunk?

How does the probability of foul play change if the plate is not on the trunk?

Same process whether you are talking about pokemon or plates.

get the facts... ;)

If we are going by what Mrs. Anderson says as facts in the case, Then I am still concerned with the phone being on the network till 9:30pm. This is one that could make or break the theory of her being in that water that morning. The Anderson's were forth coming with a lot of information via MSM before LE made statements regarding aspects of the case. I will assume they had the information concerning the cell phone just as LE had it. Can anyone debunk this for a fact once and for all.? JMO

So that settles plate-gate.

Lol. Just kidding Pete.

I'm just surprised that LE hasn't told us what time did she get in that last ping location area near the ramp.

Oh, I agree it's assumption. Lots of assumptions everywhere.

Just a great example of when it's appropriate to ask how someone knows something.

My son has a 2011 Ford Focus. The license plate is NOT on the trunk it is on the below on the bumper.
A 2014 appears it IS on the trunk.

So I am going to throw out my frustrations about Toni's case and get it off my chest. First of all, . I feel like this investigation wasn't given the 100% it needed from the beginning. I think that it was entered into with a lot of mistakes from the beginning, and by the time it began to take a serious turn, it was too late to turn it around. Investigations have to be strong in the beginning, middle and end. This is why there are so many theory's and loose ends left unanswered. I will state that I have always kept an open mind to Toni's case. I have looked into probability of LE involvement, Co-workers involvement, accident theory's and suicide theory's. Until I see a report that states official evidence on the phone information from the T-Mobile network, or a person that can officially tell me what that report says, there is no way it can be discounted. Just as all of the other information regarding this case, I find myself constantly having to sift back through the information time and time again because of conflicting statements left and right. The news has made mistakes on information, LE has given conflicting statements on a lot of information right down to THE VERY FIRST TIMELINE reported. So, with conflicting statements coming from the absolute beginning, I can be assured of one thing in my mind. That this case has been flawed from the beginning, and will continue to be flawed throughout. This is strictly my own frustrated opinion. Now, if we are to rely on that phone ping information as to when Toni entered that water, excuse me if I'm a little doubtful given every single other detail from this case and the track record of the initial investigation. They have made the pieces to this puzzle fit, but the picture itself makes no sense. She was in Parkville for a reason. The only way we will know if her meeting was relocated to the park, or anything else for that matter is through the technology she communicated with.

Do we really know if there is dash cam footage? Do we know if the stops was called in or if the officer(s) said so after the fact?

I did confirm that fact before posting because I had the same question. In this video, officer Snapp of the KCPD says, "the dash cam video literally shows the officer walking up to the car, talking to her for literally maybe a minute, and then you can see her pull off into the gas station." (source)

So we know the dash cam video exists.

Yep your right, I remember that now that you say it. I was thinking body cam I think when I wrote that.
I will always take issue with the "literally for a minute" comment. And still wondering if the stop was called in?

I think if we knew WHY she was at that park for sure it would answer a lot of questions.
If she was there for something drug related than I still have foul play as my number 1 theory.

Now, maybe, just maybe...the person she was meeting there came forward to police and said I was at the park with her and she was selling me or buying from me. He says he leaves Toni and all is well. He may even have phone pings to show he left. She has an accident and police can concur that she must have used the drug and made that fatal wrong turn down the ramp. Then maybe I would believe it was an accident, if I knew someone stepped up. Then we'd have to decide if we believe he left her unharmed.

And a runner saying there was no car there. More brain overload!

Pete, are you still waiting to be verified or were you declined?

And a runner saying there was no car there. More brain overload!

Unless I am missing something there was no runner there. He talked to runner who has run through there and said he doesn't usually see any cars there. But I think that was more to make the point that there is no one patrolling that park every 30 minutes or whatever as someone said. I highly doubt that. But a runner who runs through that park for maybe 10-20 minutes total in a given night, that's not a great indicator of anything imo.

To me it's obvious she was in that park for a reason. Someone likely communicated with her in regards to going there. Accident or foul play, depends on the nature of the meeting. Anytime you are dealing with drugs and money, something can go potentially go wrong.

But, I go back to motivations if we are talking foul play. debt? CI/Snitch? What else is motivation here for murder?

If someone wanted money, they'd have just taken her money. No one is going to the cops to say they got robbed in a drug deal. But I think this scenario only works if it's not her regular drug dealer, who wants her to buy repeatedly.

If this is foul play, it's because someone wanted her dead. So as I said before, I just don't see how it makes sense for a drug dealer to kill a client that will keep buying drugs. They are in the game for money.

I don't buy the debt thing, because she's obviously capable of making money. If money is what you care about, you don't murder someone and therefore never get your money.

So.... whether they thought she was a CI or she was a CI, I kind of think it's right up there with accident still imo. That's a reason to kill someone, because it threatens your money/freedom.

The secret lover scenario... I get it. But they are meeting in a dog park? Seems like you go to a hotel or someone's place.

As far a pokeGo, if she was playing that night, I'd say 95% that was causation.

If she wasn't, obviously 0%.

Chances are that she was playing is about 5% imo, and only because I know she's played the game at all and her odd behavior would be explained by that scenario

So, someone should have excluded that factually early on when the question came up. But some are ok with assumptions, so this one likely goes unanswered imo.

So the largest issue I have with foul play, is cause of death. If she was shot, stabbed, etc. That's a typical means of dealing with a snitch. I'm not sure you try and drown them and take a chance they swim out.

But... strangulation, is a means that 50% of the time leaves no marks.

http://godoymedical.net/physical-signssymptoms-strangulation/

So, if there is no stab wounds or bullet wounds, strangulation would be one way that someone would kill someone and feel comfortable pushing them into the river with no chance of escaping.

But, accident is still statistically probable here, obviously.

one problem I do have with strangulation is that if you do that, why not buckle her seat belt? Make sure the body stays in the car.

I wish I had the attention span to get through your novels Max! ; )
I don't. You lose me on sentence 5.
Maybe I misread Pete's post because I skim. I thought he said they hunted down a long distance runner who frequents the park to ask if her car was there that night.
I'll go back and reread.

The story has been told by Caldwell, one of the original investigators, she was pulled over at approx 4:25 for illegal lane usage, the sent the text "OMG got pulled over again" at 5
4:5
4:42. At 4:49 she left northbound all by herself on Burlington out of NKC. All documented.

Oops, text sent at 4:42, LEFT WY at 4:49, all by herself, phone went dark at approximately 6am. As per Sergeant Caldwell. Sorry for the earlier errors. Fat fingered it.

Not according to CWD. Her phone mysteriously died right after 442. If Toni got stopped all the time, then the opposite would be true. She would've never mentioned the stop. That excuse by police is a lie.

I did see runners at the park before sunrise. One of them happened to be a distance runner with Park University. My son and I tracked him down on a Sunday morning at 0530 two weeks after Toni went missing. He said he was running around the park at the same time two weeks prior and did not see any vehicles in the park during his run. It's very dark. One would easily see a car driving through the park.

Sure sounds to me the runner was there at the same time Toni would have been there.
