The KMOV video is from *this morning* (they say so in the video) and shows the woman walking with LE. She is also being videotaped by LE as well.

LE has said in MSM that no charges have been filed b/c they're waiting for the prosecutor to look at everything this morning. I think they are going to compare evidence and the crime scene with what this person is telling them. I could be wrong but it does appear to be SD...

The video of the woman in the blue jacket standing outside talking and smoking is from YESTERDAY. The grandmother is one of the women talking to her. That is apparantly Shelby. It is also the woman in handcuffs with police detectives this morning.

It looks like the mother of little Tyler is under arrest.

Thanks! I went back & edited my confusion. It's definitely Shelby with the detectives at the house & cemetery this morning. Bob McCullough needs to hurry up and get to his office so we can get definitive answers as to what is going on!

AFFTON, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com)—

A person has been taken into custody in connection with the death of 1-year-old Tyler Dasher. His body was found near a St. Louis County cemetery. Police say that the person was taken into custody early Wednesday morning.

That person was taken back to the crime scene near the cemetery Wednesday, then back to Tyler Dasher's home. Police left with evidence including several toys.

The person has not been booked into jail and police say no further information will be released until the prosecuting attorney reviews the investigation.

No - I looked at those pics extensively and it's someone else. He is Tyler's godfather... and from his posts and others' posts, he appears to be totally crushed. :(

Heartbreaking reading the posts on his wall. Poor guy. :(

I hope the mom is not the suspect.

I'm thinking possibly an accidental death. Maybe SD didn't actually kill him but rather improperly disposed of his lil' body. Could be why they are waiting for Bob McCullough to determine how she will be charged. jmo

I hope the arrest is due to physical evidence collected and presented to the da and not a confession that could be false.

Sources are telling Fox2News that the woman in custody is indeed Shelby Dasher :(

You never want to believe a mother is capable of this!

If it was the mom they had on which it seems to be..from what I had seen it didnt look like she was crying.. imo

I agree, they had a close up of her in the car. She was looking out the window and up to the sky. Not really showing any emotion IMO.

Cold-hearted waste of oxygen is all i have to say

RIP beautiful boy :( :(

I have to hold out hope that it was accidental and not murder. If so, she could have freaked and taken him away rather than calling 911.

Until LE announces otherwise, I have to believe that. The alternative is just too much.

(ETA: I'm not saying it was an accident, but --- I want to believe it was.)

I agree. I do lean towards the mom being the suspect right now, but not because she put Tyler to bed late.
I had my daughter when I was 18. I went to college full time and worked almost full time. I always had my mom keep her up until I got home from work so she could be on my schedule and we could spend more time together. Plus, I didn't have to worry about her waking up before I did if I pulled a late shift.

Thank you. It does sound like now she is the one responsible... so sad!
I think I am going to have to stop following crime cases, particularly missing children. It's really starting to affect me.
Poor little precious boy!!

I'm confused by all of this. Who made the 911 call, the mother or the grandmother?

How does this new info about the mother being in custody and booked into the jail fit into the sightings of the man carrying a child with a blanket?

Why would the mother place the body out in the open, naked?

:waitasec:

Her facebook is still up. i know we are not allowed to report anything on facebook, but you can see her photos. they are of poor little tyler. from awhile ago. this is so sad.

Didn't the GM live there too? Whatever happened, if it happened in the house must not have been too "ugly" or the GM would have heard something right? I mean I'm assuming the GM not to be involved..............
