Therese Apel has alluded to something that I think will make it very clear what happened. Those details will come out sooner or later.
Thinking he wanted them to be more serious and she didn't. Or she was breaking it off with him or broke it off with him and he tried to rekindle and was rejected.
This case reminds me of Emma Walker's murder.
Maybe I'm being too quick to judge the motive but this is the feeling I'm getting here.
It’d be a very messy dump if she was shot 8 times first. Maybe they should be looking for tarps/ shower curtains/ large sheets of plastic in area trash cans & dumpsters. It seems like an odd time of night to choose to go out to such an area which would lead me to believe she was more likely dumped there. Had she been missing for a few days, I would consider it more probable she may have been with someone out in this lake area. However, with having been known to be in town just hours earlier, why would one take a ride out there either with someone or by herself after midnight? Unless it was with someone who stayed/lived there of course that perhaps she was seeing or a friend who lived out there she left a bar with, etc...
Jmo.
What's that?I am thinking just the opposite. JMO
Wow I can't believe how quickly this all unfolded, I just started reading and texted my brother about it who went to Ole Miss and graduated a year ago. He said he's been to this location a few times to go swimming, it wasn't a "locals only" spot. IMO I wonder if it'll be one or two counts of murder, my brother and I thinking along the same lines for motive. Such a disgustingly horrible way to handle things. I hope this spoiled arrogant *advertiser censored****** gets the book thrown at him
I think he was mad at her for doing something he didn't like...or not doing something he did like.I am thinking just the opposite. JMO
What happened to Ally Kostial? Details start to emerge

Good point about the messiness. From his twitter, he looks like he drinks a lot. If he was drinking when this happened, he could've left evidence in his car, etc.Great point. He either left an abundance of evidence somewhere or perhaps it did occur nearer to where she was found.
I could be wrong but I have a feeling he left an easy trail and they probably have a lot of evidence. Probably one of those that took his phone and hers with. Gun. Crime scene. Probably contact between them. And more.
Jmo.

she posted this on her twitter feed but doesn't contain new details that I can see. Thanks for the twitter link.

So disappointing to know that.Unfortunately, that is the predominate culture of a college student there.
I'd be willing to bet he was drunk when this happened given the time. Young, spoiled, arrogant, drunk, just leads to impulsive and poor decision making. Went in to a sudden rage for whatever stupid reason. He well could have been. Total speculation but she could have been looking for him at the one bar. He could have even been out with someone else. I guess we will have to wait to see what the relationship was, if one was trying to break it off, etc...
College student, his twitter shows a lot of drinking related things, it was a weekend and was after midnight so there is a good chance he was out drinking. Jmo of course.
I'm seeing - he's an alcoholic and needs treatment, not punishment as a defense.I can see the defense coming... I’m getting a mix of Brock T & some other affluent monsters.
But he’s from a good family. Good education. He shouldn’t receive the max sentence because this was only 300 seconds of a lifetime of sports & class vice president- or whatever.
Ima get my dramamine & tums out & brace myself for the impending nausea. It’s bad enough to have evil in the world. But there’s extra outrage when evil is entitled & privileged. What a waste.
It’ll be interesting to see how his parents & former classmates respond.

I don't think that defense will work. She was shot eight times. Eight.

Here is my completely opinion take as a college student, which goes w theory he didn't want her around him anymore:
She shows up to the bar, finds out from maybe his snapchat location/text he isn't there. Goes home, maybe finds out where he is and goes to confront. He is with another girl and Ally is angry. For whatever stupid reason, BT is carrying his gun (why does a college kid need to carry one???), freaks out and we know what happens.
Just my opinion. He also was on twitter after he killed her. No remorse?
