I'm confused...why would it take 4-5 days to get from Vermont to Mississippi??? I haven't seen anything about his whereabouts in the days before he was in Mississippi on September 13 but he had time to be in Vermont as well.
Pat went missing Friday September 10 or early September 11.
Even if he left Vermont 12+ hours later, Saturday night, he still had more than 36 hours and could have easily been in Mississippi by Monday morning. (Unless there is construction or weather I am unaware of???)
He was seen in Mississippi in the afternoon on September 13th. Ethel went missing later in the day Monday September 13.
The police insist Ethel's case is an isolated incident... so apparently he's not involved. However, he definitely had TIME to be in both places.

They seemed to have stopped in 1998...perhaps the perp went to prison. I don't think they caught anyone, either. Excellent possibility.
Could someone please PM me or hit the alert button once this perp is arrested for Ethel's murder? TY.
I thought LE had been saying this wasn't an isolated incident and they now even suspect him of killing his aunt?
Also, I meant he had four or so days to get to MS, not that it would take that long. Sorry for the confusion!
Ok so if I am reading the article right he is not only being questioned about Ms. Simpson, but also the death of a relative and the stabbing of a man that showed him property all around the same time frame, as well as a older case for the disappearance of Virginia Ratliff, 83.
Why in the heck was this man even let out of prison ! He only served a little over 3 years of his ten year sentence, and now we have 2 people dead, one in serious condition.
I will never understand our system, I know there is overcrowding but if we would just off the worst of the worst instead of keeping them alive we wouldn't have a overcrowding problem and perhaps less crime if they knew the could die for it !
Prayers ..................

Why???? because this is Alabama. I have lived here my whole life. The a$$ hole that molested my two girls had been convicted 4 times in the past and you know what he got for molesting my girls? a 20 year split sentence. He served 5 years in prison and released on probation for the next 15 years, you know why I didn't know he was a SO? because he didn't registar and no one ever did anything about it.. he was not even charged for failing to register..... Like I said this is Alabama and they don't care!!!!!!!!!!!

They have positively identified Ethel. Now, for justice.
Does MS have the death penalty?
