This is just a guess, but it may be branches that burned off the tree and fell on the car. At first, I thought it was kindling placed in the car, but it didn't look burned with accelerant, nor outside the car, so had to have fallen in the car afterwards the accelerant burned off. IIRC, there is also an animated video on youtube that shows tree limbs falling onto the car as well.

I have tried explaining this several times, but here goes again.
The FBI are only there to offer their lab resources etc. to the small police department. The ATF were brought in because they are the experts concerning arson/fires with additional resources to accommodate the small department. They are not there to do anything else. Don't expect updates from them.
I don't see any guy on this planet killing his lover on behalf of his jealous wife. In theory alone, it is more believable it was the wife who killed the prettier, younger competition.

Not necessarily the boyfriend who did. Maybe the other girlfriend of the boyfriend, or the wife of the boyfriend or someone put up to do the dirty deed. I have no idea! And neither does anyone else. I tend to believe sha sha about the "party" reference, but I think that it was a lure. I can't imagine why Sha Sha would have even mentioned a party and having seen Jessica, if there wasn't some truth to it. Why would she stick her neck out? JMO

If they've been called in to assist local LE, they nearly always allow local LE to take the lead.
It's a state crime so the state takes the lead as far as jurisdiction goes.

Those images just lay it all bare. What was done to her was so ugly I will never understand it. This particular case struck a chord with me from day one and I will pray every day for the rest of my life that they find the person(s) responsible.
Not that I'm Inspector Gadget, but in the last photo what would be the driver side back passenger window appears to have jagged edged glass whereas the other windows appear to be missing the glass altogether?

Did she say she personally saw Jessica at the party? I can't find that in MSM. She talks about a party but like it was something she heard thru the grapevine. I must have missed something along the way.
The crime that caused her death happened in Panola County, as far as we know at this point.
I'm hoping LE has evidence, maybe texts, phone pings, and eye witnesses, that conform she was at the party and did see JC herself, along with who she left with.

She stated on camera that she (aunt Sha Sha also known as CW) was there and that she saw Jessica there. The DA told CNN that witnesses (plural) report seeing Jessica at the party. I have found 4 arrests for him. 2 in 2008, 1 in 2010 and 2011.
all non-violent.
recent address in 2011 is right by a lake north of enid lake. they must not live there still or it'd be easier to fish at the lake near home than Enid.
BUT, the address listed is 22 miles from Courtland, possible reason for extra gas purchase? going somewhere?

so maybe a jealous idiot who wanted to teach a lesson, give a warning and or maim (or burn off lover's tattoo on) her man's mistress but doesn't realize how much is too much and ends up killing her, on her way to go fishing, and doesn't see anything as she drives by the crime scene? or has a couple thugs knock her out, drive her there and burn an area of her skin and the car explodes and it "goes too far"?
if you had hired someone to do that, it would makes sense that you might find a reason to drive by the crime scene while it was happening for gratification or to verify it was taking place, and claim you saw nothing despite driving by the actual/active crime scene.
burning off a tattoo out of jealousy/anger seems more realistic than murder for those reasons, although i am naive.
LE may have collected all the glass in whatever state they found it.
Why does this door handle look different than the others, the color and burn pattern? Is this the door the perp was most focused on as they exited the car? Was Jessica in the drivers seat by that time, since her door seems the only open one? This burn pattern on this door may indicate it's the last door the perps may have touched as the fire was started, and they may have been concerned about prints. If that is the case, that the perp focused the accelerant on this door, then their prints are most likely in the system.

Hmmm. . . I recall in 2013 that the Elvis girl from Myrtle Beach area was murdered by her lover for his jealous wife. The wife seems to have had a hand in the murder too. They are in jail awaiting trial, so the truth is not known yet on what actually happened.
