We're unfortunately still in the dark and do not yet know what the PC Grand Jury already knows. I've gotta believe that Darby and his state and federal investigative help came up with something pretty damning, otherwise the indictment would not have been handed down. Nor would DA Champion have even gone to them, since he seems like he would not buy into something he could not prove -- even asked for a consensus from other prosecutors who agreed he had a good case. I think Jessica made a few mistakes during her young life, but unfortunately befriending the wrong fellow proved to be a fatal one.Would still love to find a connection between them. I still don't buy it.

Despite the locale and the black-on-white crime, I have to agree with Therese Apel of the Clarion-Ledger, and do not detect an ounce of racism here. By all accounts, it seems to have been a crime of passion by a spurned boyfriend, nothing more. Many of you WebSleuths detected this early on.
