http://www.wlbt.com/story/17942601/copiah-county-woman-missingMonday more than one hundred firefighters and volunteers combed the woods where Linda Gale Reed's vehicle was found off Interstate 55 near Crystal Springs.
http://www.clarionledger.com/articl...-reports-no-leads-missing-Copiah-County-womanCopiah County Sheriff Harold Jones said after the search April 30 with a helicopter, trained dogs and 150 volunteers, he is certain that Linda Reed is no longer in the wooded area where her gray Chevrolet Equinox was found.
After days of searching and not finding her, someone (possibly LE) suggested family call Equusearch. Preparations had to be made. Tim had to meet with LE. Calls had to be made to find members who could go to Mississippi.
That's the way it almost always works. TES rarely gets called immediately. When they do it's local to Houston and a child. That could be why they are called "search and recovery" rather than "search and rescue"
