I am simply speechless
I would have sworn that this would never turn out this way

BOY!! Was I WRONG

Gad, I hate being such a cynic, but I did believe she left on her own...and did believe that she took the money.

I never saw this comimg
Never believed she left on her own for a minute

WOW

Well I was mostly convinced by the FBI saying so recently...they would have no reason to say so; I recall reading they had evidence, which implies more than the words of the business owner, etc.In the very beginning, I was worried for her.

I said earlier in this thread that if i were family, i would want to know the truth no matter what that truth is.

I hope these people who love her and have stood by her can breath easy knowing she is alive

The truth can never be as difficult as never knowing

IMO

Amen!! I'm sure her family is very confused and hurt right now. Even though it appears Linda may have made some bad decisions, they still deserved to know what happened to her. Saying a prayer tonight for Linda and her family still. HelpfindLinda, if you are reading here, thank you so much for coming to WS and keeping us informed on the situation from her family perspective. Sometimes, people in our lives do wrong things but we continue to love them. I'm sure Linda's family is heartbroken simply because they love her.

Well, I'm glad she's safe.

Her new employer should check the bank accounts. moo

Not sure if we will ever find out the details, but I am interested to know (and I think it will be relevant for future cases)

--Did Linda have a mid-life crisis?
-- Did she start stealing money to support a habit of some sort (gambling? drugs? shopping)) and got in over her head?
--Did she have a boyfriend?
--Did she stage the scene with her car, or was it simply how she left it?
--Was she unhappy with her family life?
--How did she pick Longview, Texas?

Those and more......

Still kinda pizzed because no one was really looking for her until they changed her status to "wanted". I forget what agency or dept it is, but it's federal where LE can run a check on her SS# and if working...she can be found. Why wasn't this done before now?

Was she in Longview the whole time or take a little vacation before settling down to work? Was she in Mexico...at all? Bahamas, S America? Where, when and how did she get a vehicle? What kind of desperate was she...and was anyone else involved?

Certainly a surprise. I thought someone had done away with her. Glad she is alive and hope the media stays on this to find the answers. I wanna know. And yes, why Longview?

Hope the Moores will rethink their financial checks and balances.

HelpfindLinda.....what's going on?

I am just glad she is found... I am sure her family is hurt, but must also be relieved that she is alive....

Good Lord....I couldn't open this thread fast enough when I read "found Alive"! Wow.....I have to admit that I am totally surprised!

I was starting to have second thoughts when the stolen money aspect surfaced but still found it hard to believe that a mature lady would steal. I do wonder if she possibly has a gambling addiction - it can absorb every penny you own and more.
I really thought this was a cold case and am pleased it is resolved.

ETA: Can't find any casinos near that area unless she was into online gambling.

Early on there were reports of her being in Acapulco Mexico. It was never substantiated, but it left me suspicious of the whole disappearance. It is another case of family and friends believing they absolutely knew their loved one would never do such a thing, and wow, turns out they did. You just never really know, even when you THINK you do I guess.....

IIRC she has family in Philadelphia, MS...... casinos there!! Just pointing that out. I don't have a link on hand, but IIRC she visited family in Philadelphia.

I'd really like to know how she got from her abandoned vehicle to Texas.

Awww man....

I'm not sure to be whether to be happy for her family, who now knows she's alive and well, or so very sad for them to know that she didn't care enough about them not to leave them worrying their sick little hearts for all this time. I can't imagine a mama doing this to her babies... no matter how old they are. Prayers for them. :(
