The West Alabama Watchman News which covers the Demopolis, AL area did not mention Rebecca Henderson in it's top 10 read stories of 2015. This hurt the Henderson's deeply although the news paper explained to the family the picks were based on how many clicks each article received.

From the https://www.facebook.com/groups/189770581358503/ Missing Rebecca Henderson FB Group:

On Nov 15, 2015 a female, Monica V, of Lauderdale CO. MS, was arrested for exploiting a woman by forcing her to have sex for drugs. This seems to be a ray of hope for the family. I pray if MV knows anything about Rebecca that she will confess to the LEO.

This song about the missing was posted on the FB page. Rebecca's mother, Janet, said it's exactly how she feels.

'Unbelievable DeDee'... Guess they just want it to go away, huh?

Wild seeing this vid posted - Within Temptation/Anneke, I mean. Love them, and this song is definitely an anthem for the lost/missing.

Missing West Alabama woman last seen in East Mississippi

Rebecca Henderson Paulk's family last saw her Sept. 7, 2015. After that, she was seen at two Meridian businesses with John Poisso.
Lauderdale County deputies say Poisso was on surveillance video with Paulk. However, investigators say they found no evidence that tied Poisso to Rebecca's disappearance. Since Paulk's disappearance, Poisso has been sent back to prison for an unrelated probation violation.

Coming up on a year since this happened, any new possible leads? Been searching the Jane Doe's and a host of other net avenues, nothing.

The last time anyone saw Rebecca Henderson Paulk was the afternoon of Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at a local business in Meridian, Mississippi. She had spent Labor Day weekend at her parents' Alabama home. Several days after the 26-year-old was last seen, her vehicle was found abandoned in a rural area not far from her last known whereabouts. Inside were a number of her valuable personal items, including her laptop. There appeared to be a break in the case when police questioned John Bentley Poisso Jr., 57, after he was arrested on unrelated misdemeanor charges. He is now being considered a person of interest, as he was the last person known to have seen Rebecca before she vanished. He has not, however, been charged in the case. Rebecca's family continues to offer a $5,000 reward for information leading to Rebecca.

Checked alacourt and it appears that she has some criminal cases going to grand jury. Of course, she is innocent until proven guilty. However, I would be checking with any known addicts/dealers in the area.

I just found this thread and finished reading all 19 pages.:findinglink: And I realize this thread has gone dark for the past 3 months...BUT...I wanted to point out something concerning the
"alacourt" thumbnail window attached to the quoted post above.

I noticed that the SS numbers were not all the same; the bottom two charges have a different SS # than all the others. Perhaps this is of no concern, but on the small chance it might be of some help, I thought I should bring this to your attention.

Very sad that this case has gone silent. :notgood: :sigh:

I see that the thumbnail window was not included; if you click on the >> portion of KNow's quoted post, it will take you back to the original post~ which contains the thumbnail window that displays the "alacourt" charges [with the 2 different SS#'s].

I've no other idea of how to display that thumbnail window...:dunno: :what: :sheesh:

Goodness Gracious! Where have you been? :blushing: A clue right under our nose for eighteen months until Mish dropped by and checked the charges with keen perception and careful reading.

Rebecca Paulk. RIP Two different SS #s ! Fantastic find. :star:

Ah. Fiddle faddle. Each count has the same birthdate as RP.

In Memory of Foxfire and Rebecca

'Bumping hunting seasons post from a few weeks ago for focus'..

As shown by the remains located in Tuscaloosa County, AL, a few days ago by the aware squirrel hunters. Every year many missing/murdered victims are found deep in the woods by observant hunters and other outdoors persons. The gun season opens in MS & AL in a few days and the forests will be saturated with hunters. Many of these hunters are from different areas of the state and some from adjacent states. It is imperative that flyers & ribbons saturate the Meridian, MS & Demopolis, AL areas, especially where these hunters congregate; gas & convenience stores, cafes & restaurants, etc..

RE: Worse case scenario in RHP's disappearance:

Hunters and other outdoor persons are the eyes and ears of the forest. Many crime victims are located each year by aware hunters. It is very important to spread awareness to hunters in MS/AL in RHP's case due to the vast amount of forested hunting land in the MS/AL area of concern.

Archery Deer season opened in Mississippi Oct 1/2015 & Alabama Oct 15/2015. MS/AL also allows for hunting deer with dogs during gun season which begins November 21/2015.

Thank you very much, JerseyGirl.

I'm following several of these cases. Reny Jones really hurts. I'll never forget seeing the wooden crate of his belongings sent form his college after he disappeared during Spring Break at PCBeach, FL. All of the other students who rented the home went back to college asap but Reny's parents had a wooden crate wrapped tightly with cellophane with his stuff inside delivered to their garage.

I feel Rebecca's killer is getting away with murder. That old codger guy who was interviewed but released remains my main POI.

How sad it is that 90 people in 4 years of Dateline's Missing in America remain unsolved cases. Maybe I'll never understand how people just seem to vanish without a trace.

Has this lady been found, I read all19 pages, and noticed a RIP just upstream, but didn't see where she had been found

I followed her case from the beginning and as of current, she`s still missing. That is unless someone has an official LE statement showing otherwise.
