Do you really believe that?

I'm not sure I understand. Why did Tina do this? (what I bolded) I can see wanting to help, but why get so upset and go in front of cameras to say so? Maybe it was a good thing they didn't say anything. KWIM.

With that said though I do feel Deb and Jeremy have been taken advantage of during the most traumatic time of their lives by people like Joe T, Bill S. and national media. I believe there is some contract they signed that these guys practically own them as in what they say, and who they talk to. Very very sad.

They are the ones allowing these people to do what they do. Any parent who has a missing child would be out begging for their missing child. If DB and JI don't like what is going on, they can fire them.

Hello, police, there's an unarmed woman here wanting to help me. She says her name is Tina Porter, but no esquire mentioned. Get on over here, you flat foots!

On a serious note, they don't know Tina Porter. For all they know, she was lying to get inside the house.

If you remember Tina's ordeal...she was desperate for answers about what her husband did with her two kids and was convinced that her husband's best friend knew something. Tina even went on Dr Phil with the best friend (a woman) and the friend failed the lie detector test. It was horrible to see Tina go through that and of course eventually she found out her husband had murdered the children. I don't believe we ever found out what the friend knew.

I think Tina probably gets a deja vu feeling about this. She knows what it's like for the investigation to run into a brick wall when the people with info won't talk. I'm not saying definitely that Deborah (and maybe Jeremy) are responsible for what happened to baby Lisa but...their stonewalling has to seem familiar to Tina Porter. I know one thing, if Tina were in their place, she would walk through hell and take any heat LE could throw at her to find her child. She would do whatever it took.

BBM

Because she was there to help them in their time of grief and they slammed the door in her face?

I suppose if she were a lawyer, they'd have ushered her in.

IMO

An unknown man answered the door. He didn't say if Deborah and Jeremy were even home.

When you form an organization to assist families of missing and endangered children as well as the elderly who are subject to wandering off due to alzheimers and dimensia, you would think a family would want to utilize valuable resources such as this. There are many organizations out there, but if a family rejects these types of services, it makes absolutely no sense.

I would think not just this community, but nationally who is following this case would like to see search groups covering more area trying to find anything that could assist bringing this child home.

Some people are going to stand up for Lisa, some people are going to stand up for Lisa and the parents in this situation. Tina went there with good intentions for both Lisa and the family. I think for a mother who has lost her two children, a lot of emotions set loose watching a family that is only reaching out for attorneys, a private investigator from New York. JMO

If DB watches cases like this (which she has said she does), she would know Tina Porter or at least know her name. I don't live in Kansas City anymore, but when I did, very few people who listened to the news did not know of Tina and her precious children.

I don't think Tina Porter would be putting herself out there if she really thought the parents were guilty. I respect her immensely but she needs to understand that these people are hounded by every kook imaginable right now. She just needs to go through the proper channels like everybody else. Yes, I think the family needs to do something for the public, but going up to their door isn't going to make them come out. In fact, it probably makes them retreat even more.

What kind of arrangement could the parents have with these lawyers and people like BS that they could not get out of? Can't they just tell them to get lost, if they want to?

Yes. I know.

And where else would they be? Of course they are there. But like I said, they don't know Tina Porter, she could have been some loon.

I'm not bothered they didn't allow her in. I just think calling the cops on her was a bit much, IMO.

Just because she says she has watched cases like this, doesn't mean she faithfully follows every missing child case there is. Her watching could also just be watching it on the news.

Just visited the Irwin-Bradley (hideout) with Tina Porter. After she explained who she was a young gentleman stated they aren't available right now and to contact their attorney if we wanted to talk to them. Door shut in face.

Tina walked straight over to FOX 4 and KCTV 5 saying. "roll the cameras, roll the cameras" and really let go. Will post videos whenever they are online. (No, I didn't want to walk up rolling cell phone video as much as I would have liked to)

I have NO CLUE who Tina Porter is or why she would think she had a right to invade someone's home unasked and uninvited at a time of crisis. HOWEVER, there is no way that family can feel safe with the huge numbers of crazies out there saying horrid things and sending threats and trespassing on their property at all hours. If someone random from the public feels the need to speak with them, it has been made quite clear who their contacts are and that should be respected. The behavior of this person afterward PROVES that they were there for their own personal attention and fame mongering.....all this is just MOO and all, but this is VERY wrong and bordering on frightening behavior!

Well, Tina tried to find out which lawyer to contact, but they called the cops on her.

I am inclined to believe the parents are behaving suspiciously, but at the same time we know how they are playing the game, right now. To be surprised and incensed that you are turned away at the door is ridiculous. I hope she can regroup, bite the bullet and reapproach. As galling as that may be.

Do something for the public? The only thing that the public wants is for them to do something to help LE find Lisa!

 Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!
Okay, I'm officially :fencefall:

I thought they most likely called the cops on the film crew and other bystanders. Sounds like a crowd was forming in their front yard.

Anyway, I hope she gets a chance to visit with the family.

How would they even know this. This could be one of the very reasons why they don't talk to anybody coming up to their door.
