The bottom line is: Bill Stanton doesn't know what he's talking about half the time with regards to this case.

Much of the misinformation that's been reported recently has come straight from his mouth.

The same goes for Joe Tacopina.

It seems to me that neither one of these guys are involved enough in this case to even take the time to get the basic information accurate. I think the only thing these guys know how to do is to get their own names in the media as often as possible.

Neither one of them are doing a damn thing to help find Baby Lisa.

Right on, sorrell skye, in a nutshell!!!

We learned one new fact today. All the lights were on in every room EXCEPT Lisa's. Her room was dark.

all the lights were o in the boys rooms and the bed room in which DB was supposedly sleeping?

I suppose it would explain why JI supposedly checked on the boys first and then DB and Lisa only after talking to DB.

When/after MW appeared on the interview, the neighbors recognized MW as being a figure they saw in the neighborhood the day after Lisa went missing.

Who is stating this please? TIA

IOW, the boys will not be interviewed. If he decides to let it happen, he will insist on watching and being there..:maddening: That is not going to happen, so JT will say that LE had their chance and they won't do it. He is going to use this as a strike against LE.

What's wrong with their attorney wanting to be there? :waitasec:

Which sounds like another inconsistency in someone's (JI) story. I know I've read (altho not at the beginning) that Lisa's lite was on! Sorry, don't recall which MSM reported it, let alone have a link handy.

I found that video (if it's the same one you're referring to), and there is no girl with pink hair in it. :) I didn't see a girl that looks like her either (with other hair color). If you want I will look it up again and post the link.

Just a thought: I wonder if it would be important to know when she colored her hair pink, and what color it was beforehand. Just for finding out where she's been seen, when.

If you don't mind, that would be great. Like I said, it could have been in the live streaming video, which I'm sure was edited after it was live. I just know when I saw her I immediately recognized her...not easy to forget someone with pink hair.

Why doesn't the interviewer in these cases challenge when a person says something blatantly wrong or false? It makes them no better, as they are allowing false info to continue to be spread, rather than call them on it. If Fox or anyone else was really interested in helping to solve this case, rather than just put on whoever will come, they would make sure what was being said matched the known facts. JMO

I love Judge J. Pirro, but I kept waiting for her to shut BS down on his endless blathering. That man just drives me nuts when he cannot even make sense. I honestly don't understand why anyone will even book him on TV!! No real or useful information is ever learned from him.

If the family (through an aquaintance) brought BS and JT on board to help themselves, then I think it is backfiring big time. This anonymous benefactress, BS, and JT have turned this into a circus and it has not helped find Baby Lisa. I would trust a benefactress that offered a tremendous reward and nothing more. IOW, offered a reward with no self serving P.I. and big New York lawyer into the bargain.

MOO, and I will hush now because I have made several posts in a row while catching up. I could not be here in real time and had to catch a later JJ show.

:innocent:

How do you know this is not true? Is it because it wasn't revealed in the media? What if JT, as their lawyer, knows a lot more than the media, you, me and the rest of the public?

This could be true. I heard somewhere along the way that there were in fact 5 witnesses; the three we know about and 2 that have not been named. Don't have a link unfortunately.

I think most of the TV interviewers don't know the details of the case, so they don't even spot inconsistencies or know which points to follow up on.

This case needs a Kathy Belich-caliber reporter in the worst kind of way!

Yes, I should have said that it's possible there was other video I didn't see. Live stream...great idea...plus of course, the GJ subpoena to the media for raw video.

It's in thread #10 in the General Discussion subforum (threads created before Lisa got her own forum).

There are 2 (maybe more, but I don't think so) segments shown, but without audio. The footage is shown while the reporter is yakking. Sorry, I don't have time counter info. For those SY fans, he's taking questions from reporters in this video.

I'm going to be pretty disappointed with myself if I missed the pink-haired girl in this. I still think she may know the people who live at this house and/or some who may hang out there. JMO, speculation.

It didn't go so well in the CA case, did it? I respect Kathi but this case already has enough finger pointing at the parents as it is without Kathi. We need an unbiased reporter, imo.

So, according to DB, she turned off "the lights" (not just the one light in Lisa's room) when she went to bed:

"Judge Jeanine: “Were the lights on or off when you went to bed?”

Debbi: “I turned them off.” "

http://www.examiner.com/missing-per...ing-baby-lisa-irwin-transcribed#ixzz1cGT613Wg

Then someone came in (through the window?), turned on all the lights in the house except the one in Lisa's room, took Lisa, and went out (the front door?). Doesn't make much sense to me.

Or the boys/DB turned on all the lights because (1) she was drunk and had no clue what she's doing or (2) the kids were afraid of dark, especially with no sober adult at home, and someone entered a house in which almost all the lights were on and kidnapped Lisa. Does a random kidnapper really just enter a house in which the lights are on? :waitasec:

Or when DB/the boys turned on the lights someone had already taken Lisa. Perhaps the boys turned on the lights because they heard some strange noises in the house, but in the time it took one/both of them to gather the courage to check what's up the kidnapper was gone... and the boy(s) didn't think to turn on the light in the room where Lisa was sleeping, and went to sleep with DB because they were scared by the noises they heard.

Just speculating here and trying to make sense of all this...

I don't see anyone resembling MW in the video. Ironically, when I first watched this video I was so impressed with SY and LE. Now that I'm rewatching it with a whole new perspective, I cannot believe that he's there talking to reporters, giving a mini PC whilst they're searching with MD on the front yard. A defense attorney's dream come true.

:rocker: I totally agree !

There needs to be a reporter there for Baby Lisa -- a reporter who is NOT afraid to ask the hard questions to the family :waitasec: they are not talking ... and ask the hard questions to BS and JT ...

And they need a reporter who can remember the FACTS ...

MOO ...

The video seems incomplete, and I don't recall if SY gave a press conference beforehand and all we see is the Q&A afterwards. For context, this clearly happened (SY makes a ref.) after the parents supposedly resumed talking in person with LE, and the article is dated 10/9. 10/8 is when they resumed, but as we found out later, that was with the law professor present, and it became "the last time" (and it's now 10/30).
This is also a few days after we were told the family needed to rest for a day, and then next day "still resting"...LOL. ;)

I've always thought it was confusing that SY keeps talking about the back yard and that the parents had given re-consent to search. And that they hadn't checked the backyard (assuming he means with MD's or whatever), but there are clearly MD's being used in the front yard (back yard not in view). LOL...

Oh btw, I re-watched this video...and it appears to be the same segment shown twice, altho one may have a tiny bit more in it. Sorry, guys.

I have seen a few things from this LE that I think will make for an easier defense attorneys job at a trial. It isn't so much the normal stuff or even talking at all but the apparent strategic decision to push the parents through the media and social networking.

eta, it is a good push back as to why the parents are not cooperating at the very least.

That depends on what you mean by "didn't go so well". Did anyone actually expect KB to win a conviction single-handedly?

I'm simply talking about a real journalist who will go after the facts, and strive for accuracy in reporting - and not another mouthpiece for DB and JI.

IMO, they should fire BS because he has lied and can't answer a direct question, and it isn't helping - just making the Irwin camp look worse. He was hired to find Lisa, IIRC. That's what he should be doing instead of wasting precious time talking to the media.

All JMHO, of course.

Kathi Belich would be pretty much irrelevant to Casey Anthony's non-conviction IMO; wasn't the jury selected because they hadn't followed the coverage?

I adore Kathi B. She was like a bulldog, not letting anything slide. Her court step interviews with JB and CM were GOLD!
