How can BS even say something like that. No one knows for sure if this person even had a baby in their arms. Maybe these woods should be checked more because he knows something no one else does.. BS needs to stop the bs in my opinion. Sorry but the parents are guilty and nothing will change my mind about that.

1st BBM: EXACTLY, frankie !

There is absolutely NO EVIDENCE and NO PROOF to indicate that this person in this "alleged sighting" had a "baby" in their arms -- much less that it WAS Baby Lisa !

BS is trying to hard -- and using NATIONAL MEDIA -- to CONVINCE everyone that this is a CREDIBLE SIGHTING --

And LE has NOT confirmed this -- because IMO, LE knows that BS is trying awfully hard to send them on "wild goose chase" ...

2nd BBM: I totally agree !

I remember the first time I heard about this case and saw the interview of DB and JI ... and I saw HINK !

And now the parents have BS "spinning" as well as attorney JT "spinning" for them ...

To me ... seeing BS and JT what - on GMA and Today Show on a "regular basis" now SPEAKS VOLUMES of the parent's 'guilt' ...

MOO MOO and MOO !

yes, it is!

it's also a misrepresentation of facts to say that the family has been uncooperative.

Don't get me started, there are tons on both sides. :)

This is a very sad case but this is not the norm. First of all, they never ask question after question like she did. They never put words into a kids mouth like this and if the kid is distressed they will change the subject immediately. Move on to another topic for a few to relax the child. That is why this woman was sued and why they won. Once again though, this is not the norm, this isnt how they are trained to question children. That woman needs to stick with teens and adults. She is not someone that should ever have questioned a child. Doesnt look like she had any training in that department at all. Sad. But we can let one bad apple spoil the fact that DB and JI's children need to be questioned. They really do.

I agree, like I said- I see a lot of interviews as a child advocate, and I've never seen anything like this. She was leading him without a doubt.

This is why an attorney must be there and be able to observe from video, and why they have to be very particular about WHO does it. But I agree that this is not the norm, it gives it a bad name. but it also tells us as parents we have to protect our kids too and advocate for the right situation.

ITA. This does not mean Lisa's brothers would be treated the same way.

Interviews of the children wouldn't be fun for anyone, but I think they'd be much less harmful than seeing mama blacked out. Thank goodness kids are resilient, no?

BBM. I would say that makes you open-minded and realistic!

LE has a job to do, and they tend to do it well. But sometimes, they get it wrong. And sometimes, when they get it wrong, they refuse to admit it. When that happens, there is the possibility for true injustices to be done, and for the truth to be ignored.

And what about when "we" get it wrong, and criminals walk free! When "guilty" people commit crimes they always insist they are "not guilty". Should we believe all of them? Then we don't need LE.

Apparently there are "bad" humans everywhere, teachers, LE, lawyers, etc., should we distrust everyone and put limits on how the honest ones can do their jobs because of the few that can't be "trusted".

I had heard a couple times way earlier the "Five hours" remark about the boys being questioned. I also have no idea if this was KCPD or FBI or child specialists or whatever.... but it seems to me regardless of who it was asking the questions, the boys have had ample opportunity to hang Deborah out to dry if they in fact know much that is substantial. Now, on the other hand, I certainly do believe that they need to be questioned again, and asked about new things that have come to light.

According to all interviews and statements I have heard, the boys were interviewed for 30 and 50 minutes each.

Heck, I don't even think the parents did over 5 hours each..well, if you include Mom's poly, that might add up to the 11 hours. :waitasec: Almost a month, and just 11 hours. :furious::furious::furious:

This is why the parents MUST have some say about who does the interview. There are some who suggest that the parents should just trust LE, and let them talk to the kids at will. They use this as additional "proof" of the parent's guilt. I am not sure that DB and JI would know about this, but I guarantee you their legal counsel knows, and would absolutely need to schedule an appointment with approved interviewers.

And this is also why we have videos during interviews, to show if there was a problem with the way a person or child was interviewed.

Have you ever had a "bad" teacher? A "bad" doctor? A nurse? Lawyer? Does that mean that we should no longer have these professions because their are a few people who shouldn't be doing these jobs. No, we punish the ones that are wrong, but we still continue to let teachers instruct our children, doctors and nurses take care of our health, lawyers represent us when we need them.

We have a missing child here, and everything that can be done should be done in order to find out what happened to her. She didn't disappear on her own, something happened to her and LE/FBI want to find out. Most of the people in these professions are honest and hardworking, the ones who are not are found out, as this video shows. JMO

IMO- he's including time with private child psychologist. I have hope that those kids are talking to someone.

He could be flat out lying, but I think usually when specific numbers are given by attorneys, they are half truths and not completely out of left field.

I'm glad to hear that they've met with a private child psychologist. I was under the impression that no one outside of the police had spoken to them. I really feel for them regardless. :(

I don't know if I am reading right, but I agree. That is why I said I've seen a lot and never seen this. IME it's the exception, not the rules. I agree with you!

This was ONLY found out after the father spent 8 months in jail, being treated like a child molester is in those situations (and yes, that means what you think it does!)

This video was part of the "evidence" that LE used to extract a false confession from him. They told him that his wife had left because she thought he was guilty (not true), that his father believed he was guilty (not true) and that his son had implicated him.

I guarantee you that this tape would never have come to light if he had not been completely exonerated. In court only the very end, where the boy finally agrees that daddy did something, would have been shown. The reason the entire tape came out is because they used it to help prove how LE framed him.

I can not thank you enough for this post-NOT all people are bad and to lump all of them into one group as being bad- is just wrong!!There are some wonderful people out there who do their jobs right!!!JMO

Mark Fuhrman: This is more about t defense of DB than Lisa I. Defense going on here. Stonewalling going on here by DB.

That's why I said opinion and hope, I don't know this. I do believe there is SOME basis for 5 hours though. Defense attorneys with their pick of clients will wiggle or fudge, but they don't just grab from left field IMO.

Fox Live

Mark F: the conduct of DB here...the layers of evidence being laid out by DB herself (interviews which she doesn't do anymore...); when DB takes poly and fails it miserably>LE has an obligation to continue looking at her; DB created this situation; DB needs to deal w/it
