"They spoke, Deborah and Jeremy spoke to the KCPD and the FBI a total of about 19 hours, five times, five times, Robin, they've answered every question..."

John Picerno, today:
“This bit about no cooperation is just fantasy. They’ve cooperated from day one, and I’m talking about Debbie and Jeremy. They’ve been interviewed/interrogated in excess of 30 hours on five different occasions.”

Lisa's parents have consented to interviews at the police station on October 4, October 6, October 8, October 9, October 11 and on October 13 they met with detectives at their home to review mug shots. Together and apart, they have spent approximately 40 hours answering police questions.

Press release from the lawyers October 21.

Police say Bradley and Irwin have not agreed to sit down separately for extensive police interviews since Oct. 8 and say there are still questions they would like answered from the couple. Authorities say the parents have responded to questions regarding specific tips or issues, but have not agreed to unrestricted questioning.

Maybe we could refer him to Sky Metalwala's LE team. Uh, yessir, it DOES work that way. It does get a little in the way of powerful interrogation tools, though. Like, you can't rely on the attorney to stand over their client and shout the question in the client's face for a couple hours, or make them sit in cold rooms on uncomfortable chairs while they pass the question along.

Yes and it gets in the way of the truthfulness of the answers when the witnesses have a chance to agree on a common story with their attorney.

Why bother.

:banghead: seriously? jeez the attys cant even get their stories straight. whether it was 19,30 or 40 IMO its not enough considering their daughter has been missing for like what 900 hours? :furious:

So we can believe the mean old lying LE when they say that the parents aren't suspects, but that's the only time we can believe them? Any way...........We all know LE is hesitant to name suspects and we know why. Their OWN lawyer said they were, now unless he really believed that what in hades would he say it when it makes it worse on his clients?

YOUNG said the parents are considered suspects.

Where did Young say the parents are suspects?

We have heard that the attorney CLAIMS the police are saying the parents are suspects, but so far no one from LE has stated that to the media. Unless of course I missed an article.

:razz:Good Lord I don't know how the Mods keep up on all the threads!!!!

Please, if you are going to post what someone in the case has stated, PLEASE follow it up with a link. We all hear things differently and we need to be able to reference when a specific point is posted.

Thank you.

transcript of relevant phone info from this interview with JP:

Quote:
MK: as we here at America live reported this week, investigators in this case have told the family that they have phone records proving that even though DB and JI's phones were restricted on the day that the baby went missing, a call was at least attempted at 11:57pm on DB's phone that night. That's the time in which DB told investigators she was sleeping. That call went to the phone of a woman named MW, who lives in a questionable house, and who tells police and other that she does not know DB or her husband JI, and says she did not get any call or voicemail. Now, we here at America Live are learning that at 3:17 am and at 3:32am that same night, someone tried to access DB's voicemail on DB's phone. Someone also tried to use the internet on that phone repeatedly. Joining me Live now, for the first time, the attorney for the Irwin family, John Picerno. These events are starting to create a timeline that you believe could support an intruder theory. Tell us why.

IMO, this does not necessarily support a 'stranger' abduction theory. I mean, why would a stranger care about DB's Voice mails?

If they tried calling MW's phone, but it cut out, not knowing it went to payment centre, they may have thought someone had called back and were checking....

Keep in mind that LE has not done a PRESS CONFERENCE is a very long time and if they were going to name someone a suspect, it would be out there in full force.

Just because we hear from the attorney that LE MIGHT have stated to the attorney's they are suspects, doesn't mean they actually are. It just maybe what the attorney's want out there in the media.

The key words are that the FBI has records of phone calls.

It was DB and JI who early on insisted any call was impossible because the phones didn't have service. Lying to a federal officer is a federal crime.

FBI have record of attempts made
