Only if they have Personal Injury Coverage, which extends your liability to cover libel, slander, etc. Otherwise, your liability coverage on your homeowner's policy only covers for bodily injury and property damage.

Kobi reiterated that all of the forensics are not out for the public to see but that now she is suspect for murder he is assuming that forensics look bad for the defense. He was careful tonight with words.

I think that under the circumstances, she should be lawyered up and she should do whatever she thinks she needs to do. I don't fault or judge her. But on a personal note, I don't think that she was ever really a suspect. There was a lot of speculation that was limited to crime forums - mostly because people were trying desperately to connect the dots and find the links...But I don't really think that it ever went beyond that. KC's lies dominate so much that, from the beginning, it seemed quite clear that something was amiss in the accusation.

Is there proof that she lost her job because of her connection (none other than having the same first and last name and having visited Sawgrass one time) to this case?

I mean is her boss going to testify that he fired her because of that? I just don't buy it.


Edited: I just don't think there is proof that Casey was targeting this ZG. I think she had the misfortune of having the name that Casey picked. She went to school with someone with the name Z and two families with the name G live on Hope Spring. I don't think it would have made any difference to Casey's story whether a ZG was linked to Sawgrass or not.

What about all the ZG searches KC did on MySpace?

This was always very interesting to me...in the interview she never really did come out and say "kidnap"...or "took my daughter"...but rather, this was the last person I saw my daughter with...or something to that effect. Remember, even in the beginning she said Caylee was with someone who loved her very much...sinister kidnapper? I think not.

Because she was not at the time a "public figure", she would be entitled to compensation according to the attorney's I have discussed this with recently.

There is nothing to gain monetarily unless CA homeowners would pay (most likely not for an adult child or they could tie CA into it)

But if you get a judgment, that's some vindication, and you could execute it someday if the defendant ever came into money. Poor Casey. :boohoo: There goes the book deal money. But at least she got a real promotion today from LE.

I think that Casey probably changed her story to LE about the kids thing. They knew the names of the two children she still has living with her. Casey invented a zanaida and then by some stroke of sick luck, she found someone with the same name and away she went..the car, sawgrass, the apt # and the cell all came from the Sawgrass info.How creepy can things get?

It isn't that simple to totally dismiss, even if it's a difficult case to prove. The law of defamation is pretty complicated in ways. There have even been successful cases of group libel, and I could see ZG proving she was in the small group of ZG's in Orlahndo who people reasonably could have thought less of after the kidnapping accusation. I don't see it as such a frivolous claim that it shouldn't be filed, and I'm not big on filing frivolous lawsuits.

When LE showed KC a picture of ZG didn't she say it Wasn't her?

If so I don't see how ZG could have a claim against KC.

The media took ZG's name & ran with it but according to KC she's not the "Nanny"

It stood out to me as well. She does it all the time! A pathological liar takes a bit of the truth and then spins a tale to suit them. When confronted they will say " oh, I never said she was kidnapped." which is true. The words "taken" and "kidnapped" were used by Cindy.
