There is so much to read and so little time; therefore, if this has been brought up before please accept my apologies.

When were the "tips" released to Baez?
If it was before Nov 15th, were Kronk's tips part of that release?

Guess I need to do some research.

I don't believe Baez picked up the tips that you're referring to, from Orange County. The first set of tips he picked up from Orange County Sheriffs. After that he didn't pick up any more, due to cost. He still owed them $$$ and didn't want to pay for more, IIRC.

The biggest one that is driving me nuts is the way she starts her show. "Breaking news in the story of the missing 3 year old toddler, Caylee Anthony"

She's not missing anymore. <sniff>

She never made it to 3 either <sniff>

If I was still in college I'd make a drinking game out of her show for every time she says bombshell, stunning or interrupted a guest. I'd be pretty sloshed by the end of the show.

I know it is difficult for anyone to keep track of nearly everything about this case, but I tire of NG making "mis-statements" as truisms: The house is NOT 15 doors from the crime scene. It is 21 houses, minimum. Also last night, she was going on about Casey's affect when she heard about the remains being found and described it as flat and unresponsive. Nancy is wrong about that. This was describing her response to the news of LP's search in BP, NOT the actual find of Caylee's bones in the woods. When she heard that news, she needed a sedative.

C'mon Nancy, you're the boss, need the (correct) info!

What's funny is when that first report came out she said that KC needed a sedative.

If you zoom in on the photo you can see that they are evidence markers and they are set in a rectangular pattern. Looked like they were marking an area where something was placed on the ground. I'm wondering if they used Luminol on the area and the area with the flags glowed.

When I zoomed in originally the picture became blurry so I'll trust you on this one. :thumb:

IMO NG is all about sensationalism. She takes a little bit of truth and stretches it into dsomething more interesting/outrageous/splashy. For example, she keeps repeating the fact that Casey just got up and walked out of the day area when the LP search was on TV. As if Casey has free reign within the jail. The reports were that it was the guards call to escort her back to her cell when that came on. She tries to demonize Casey every chance she gets because she feels she can get away with it but IMO she is hugging the line between sensationalism and simply reporting the truth, as benign or mundane as it may be at times.

She also said KC was ordering shrimp cocktail while in the prison. That's impossible. She goes on about the things she buys at the commissary and everything else. Stick to the facts of the case and stop trying to demonize KC at every turn. The facts alone are enough to demonize her. :furious:

I am no big fan of NG, but most of her attorney guests are well-informed about the ins and outs of this case. I have seen so much misinformation, and facts left out about KC, her parents etc on other shows by attorneys that obviously have no clue of all the details [big and small of this case];so, overall , Nancy's show has been very accurate at showing KC for what she truly is.

I agree.... it's just too bad that hers is the only news show covering this case every night. JVM is worse in some ways, and I don't watch her very often because it comes on here just about our dinnertime, and my hubby prefers to eat without gagging.
Something was mentioned about Kobi not being on her show anymore. I have seen him on Fox several times. I would guess that he got tired of NG putting him down every night and I couldn't blame him. She even tried that last night with Dr. Perper. She cut him off after chastising him about not reading the tabloids. Actually, there is nothing wrong with a defense expert being on her show... as long as they stick to generalities and not expound on this particular case.
I hate when NG gets nasty with the reporters and the guests. This is highly unprofessional and not in the least entertaining.. which I think these shows are supposed to be. They certainly don't seem to be concerned with sticking to the facts.

As the previous poster stated, the facts alone are enough to show Casey for what she is. It isn't necessary for NG to demonize her any further. Or to twist the facts or sensationalize something that has no bearing on the case.
What she orders from the commissary is not important. The fact that she eats snacks does not prove anything except that she is bored and hungry.
Yes, most of her guests are well-informed... if they ever got a chance to explain, but she does not allow them to speak often if they disagree with her.
These "facts" that are left out on other shows may not have been confirmed. For instance, the duct tape wrapped around the skull. LE has never stated that... it came out on NG and now HLN is talking about it, but I have not seen anyone on Fox mention it in that way. Is it possible that came from LP and NG is taking it as fact? LP did not see the remains. The meter man might have seen it, if the skull actually rolled out of the bag... which I doubt happened. I would think the truth is, when he kicked or touched the bag, it came open and he saw that a skull was in it... maybe it moved out a ways, but I really doubt that it just "rolled out of the bag" as NG puts it... he certainly did not describe it in that way in his press conference.
I wish she would stick to the facts only, and not try to make things sound worse than they already are.
