I'm practically glued to this site and HLN... but somehow I've missed the "daisy chain theory"! Can someone put this in a few words for me? TIA

Annie

Don't quote me, but I believe that LP said on NG the other day that he thought either the PI or the Meter Man was led to the remains by a daisy chain. I think he meant he was told by someone who was told by someone, etc.

The MR called in three times giving tips to LE in August about that area where Caylee's remains were evently found by the MR. I honestly do not feel a connection with the MR other then him searching himself. Did I hear LP quote about the PI's video tape back in November quoting LP watched the video and over heard Dom say they found Caylee's body on that tape? Could that be the obstruction of justice. The person on the other end of the phone could have been L.A. himself. I really believe the MR was doing the same very thing that Tim from Equa Search was doing. Looking for Caylee. I believe there is more C.A. and G.A. know. I just can't see why some are wanting to rail road the MR when he may very well been doing what everyone else was doing. Find Caylee. I heard about this mystery daisey chain. I do not think its connected to the MR. I am sure it belongs to Caylee or Casey. There is so much we all have not heard. LP just a couple months ago was paying scuba divers in a area where Caylee was not. I think LP wants media fame, and to profit from this which is sick. Why would the FBI want LP to take a lie detector test? Could there have been deception on the part of LP himself. I am a grandmother myself and the way Cindy obstructed this case angered me so bad. If I were LE I would say NO to their immunity deal and charge both George and Cindy for obstruction charges. That entire A family has been deceptive from the beginning.

I remember LP mentioning that JH said he had taped over it, when DC asked to see it... something like a week or two ago, when it was first brought up. And it seems to me that this tape has been discussed for at least 2 weeks now. He never implied that it was taped over intentionally and says he saw the tape himself, that the FBI has it along with the cell phone and some still photos. I wonder if this FBI friend of his is feeding him all this info, surely he knows that it will hit the airwaves. But maybe that's the idea.

Sweating criminals are more likely to come clean quickly. If the FBI has the tape already then they have all they need to convict on something. DC is more likely to tell all, IMO, if they can work out a plea deal first and without the public knowledge of the evidence DC may not be willing to do so.

<<From Ch.13's report:
ORLANDO -- Casey Anthony's attorney, Jose Baez, is concerned investigators may want to question the private investigator he hired in July.Dominic Casey was hired to look for Caylee Anthony after her mother, Casey, was first arrested. He was terminated in October.>>

Either Jose's not so good with his date facts, or possibly DC was playing both sides of the fence (and possibly getting paid from both, who knows)

Terminated in October. :waitasec: Was that known before the taping was discovered or after. JB can say he was terminated but I wouldn't believe JB if his tongue came notarized. (to quote Judge Milian)

I know that KC had told Cindy and George in one of her visits that she was going to write them letters and send them through the regular mail. Since she hasn't had any contact with them, I am sure they have written letters back and forth. I have never been in prison before but from watching all of the shows about prison, I have seen where the inmates incoming and outgoing mail is read before it is sent/received. I am wondering if perhaps KC put the information in one of her letters to LA and the "mail monitor" for lack of a better word, read the mail and tipped off the meter reader? I can't say it was for the reward since he definitely wanted to remain anonymous, but it just seems strange.

I am not sure this is how it happened obviously, but perhaps it was in a letter to Lee hence the new rumors of OJ charges? Maybe it was one of their "coded" messages and between the "mail monitor" and the meter reader they figured out where the spot was?

I believe that all the letters she was writing went through her lawyer to avoid the jailhouse inspections. The guards in the jailhouse are not allowed to look at the lawyers notes and so letters could be smuggled pretty easily.

I think Hoover was a 'plant' into this case by LP, and if not in the beginning, then he became one. This is just my opinion, but if I turn out to be wrong, I will eat crow every day for one month!

HI,
Does anyone else notice in the bottom right hand corner in this picture?, the red things?, they look like those flags that they have been using as evidence markers... also while looking at the photo, I notice the detective and I thought he was relieving himself... sorry, it is late and I thought I would share the smile... lol

I think those are flowers growing in the flower pot beneath them.

LaLaw - yes. KC would have to sign a document for the funeral home to release the body for either the forensic exam or burial. She could also effectuate a limited Power of Attorney in favor of someone else (a parent for example) to act on her behalf in signing the release. Bottom line - she makes the decision about the remains now that LE had released them.

Come on, Cher. You know if crow tasted good, we wouldn't have any left in south Louisiana! I guaran-dam-tee ya' that Paul would have made some blackened crow and they would be on the endangered species list by now. And if Tabasco made everything taste nice, we would all be serving nutra etouffee'.

I tell you what though, if they would have called in some of our Louisiana boys, they would have brought all their pirougues and push-poles and gone through that swamp like nobody's business and found Caylee toute suite.

O/T but when a gator chomped off a little boys arm over in Mandeville, the St. Tammany deputies just went on out and gutted gators until they found his arm and brought it to the hospital. It could not be saved, but that is Louisiana boys for ya'. You gotta love 'em.

They said they went on a tip from one of KC's friends.

'Kio', I'm sure.......seems she was telling neighbors about the 'secret place' & that KC might 'bury' something there even BEFORE she told LE about it.....
I'll bet these 'woods' were a topic of many of the A's neighbors.....

little OT....I have several friends I've known for years, & #1, I don't think any of them would be trying to hide a body......# 2, If they were, I wouldn't have the slighest idea of where it would be.....

Sure makes me wonder WHAT these kids talked about ??, or did KC talk to Kio during the 31 days & drop some clues ??

Hi, Steely Dan! Thank you so much for the Crow recipes. I am sure they will come in handy at some point in the future. Along with my New Iberia Louisiana hot sauce!

(gotta be proven to me, tho!)

I don't think that's right. Why would a murderer release a body for forensic exam?

Also, I don't think that if she won't release the body for burial that the funeral home has to hold it forever. I believe in a situation like this the next of kin makes the burial plans.

I just figured you might want to try them on squab first to find a favorite.

I was merely trying to be a good fellow boarder.

:blowkiss:

Thanks, DotsEyes!
I love your style of writing! You are right!

O/T: I know that is the truth about the little boys arm! Got a brother in St. Tammany parish and he would not let any gator scare him! He is just out of Covington, has his own pond, and goes out on Pontchatrain (sp) regularly. Wears a dress shirt and tie during the week! Ain't skeered of anything!

OMH This puts tears in my eyes. I don't have a lot of sympathy toward these people because of their lies and obstructions (MO), but this definitely makes me feel for them now.

I agree, I find it very hard to have sympathy for them either due to their lies & obstuctions, but they did love Caylee, and to lose someone you love, under any circumstances is extremely hard, but under these circumstance it must be devastating. I pray for all involved, and that justice is truly served & then maybe somehow, they can pick up the pieces of their lives.

I have to wonder if kc is actually requesting to watch the funeral , or if JB is making these requests just to make people think she wants to.

That was my exact thought! IF there is a request made for KC to watch it over tv, I'm just willing to bet that its her family or her attorneys making the request and not her! MOO

I know it is difficult for anyone to keep track of nearly everything about this case, but I tire of NG making "mis-statements" as truisms: The house is NOT 15 doors from the crime scene. It is 21 houses, minimum. Also last night, she was going on about Casey's affect when she heard about the remains being found and described it as flat and unresponsive. Nancy is wrong about that. This was describing her response to the news of LP's search in BP, NOT the actual find of Caylee's bones in the woods. When she heard that news, she needed a sedative.

C'mon Nancy, you're the boss, need the (correct) info!

If you zoom in on the photo you can see that they are evidence markers and they are set in a rectangular pattern. Looked like they were marking an area where something was placed on the ground. I'm wondering if they used Luminol on the area and the area with the flags glowed.

The biggest one that is driving me nuts is the way she starts her show. "Breaking news in the story of the missing 3 year old toddler, Caylee Anthony"

She's not missing anymore. <sniff>

There is so much to read and so little time; therefore, if this has been brought up before please accept my apologies.

When were the "tips" released to Baez?
If it was before Nov 15th, were Kronk's tips part of that release?

Guess I need to do some research.

What I find dispicable is that Caylee is still just lying there, in a funeral home, all alone. This makes the A' family and KC look even worse than they already do. I also find it interesting that the media aren't releasing the name of the funeral home for security reasons. It would be nice if they would let everyone know where she is, so we could send toys and flowers to stay with her while she just lays there.

OK, now I'm mad.

FloridaKatz, Caylee's remains were taken to Robert Bryant Funeral Home. They also provide cremation services.

You're right about this. I was wondering about Casey's "affect". Remember when they said she just went back to her cell when LP was in the middle of his fiasco at the Little Econ and everyone thought something had been found? No emotion or reaction from Casey. But, when she was told there was a body found near her parents house, she had an anxiety attack. Why? Because she knew Caylee wasn't in the Little Econ. She knew where the body was.

IMO NG is all about sensationalism. She takes a little bit of truth and stretches it into dsomething more interesting/outrageous/splashy. For example, she keeps repeating the fact that Casey just got up and walked out of the day area when the LP search was on TV. As if Casey has free reign within the jail. The reports were that it was the guards call to escort her back to her cell when that came on. She tries to demonize Casey every chance she gets because she feels she can get away with it but IMO she is hugging the line between sensationalism and simply reporting the truth, as benign or mundane as it may be at times.
