Did anyone here ever see an article about the little girl photographed at the mall where the parents came forward claiming the girl in the picture was their daughter and not caylee? if so do you remember what site the parents statement was on? TIA

The newest article with the girl photographed at the mall also had the story of the siting in Gainesville, which was discounted. I don't believe the family of the girl in the mall have come forward YET.

Indeed, and if it turned out that the 'death' hair was not a match, it would buttress everyone's belief that
Caylee was still alive.

Deliberately doing a little sleight of hand in submitting the 'wrong' hairbrush leads me to believe that Cindy knew the hairs on it would match the hair with the death band.

I thought that was the Gainesville sighting.

I'm still catching up on today's posts... Anyone else wonder why we didn't hear this from LP about dogs' toothbrushes before tonight?

I believe LP said Tracy recalled this because of the new allegations re: the hairbrush that just came out today..Makes sense to me & I've noticed quite often during both the A's FBI interviews I heard things that I know came out of LP's mouth weeks if not months prior.

The question I was going to ask:

as per the fbi interview with GA whereas he stated he knew what the smell was in the car due to being former LE why then did he drive that car off the lot and not instead call LE to check it out then.

and wouldn't there be chargeable offenses associated with doing this such as disturbing a crime scene or destroying evidence?

Q: If a doctor can be charged for NOT helping someone in distress while not "on duty" can a retired LEO be charged for not reporting a potential crime scene?

Personally I doubt care "why" this email may have been passed on by LG at this time, LG wasn't the one whom the FBI made the request to for Caylee's hairbrush, Cindy was and Cindy is this "missing child's" grandmother who (obviously) has the opportunity and ability to impede the forensic diagnostic's in the investigation - AND SHE DID - PERIOD.

I have tried to hold onto, although slight, some amount of empathy & compassion for GA & CA in light of some extremely questionable actions on their part prior to this latest disclosure, but at this juncture I am done, I have ZERO trust in them. From this point on nothing that comes out of their mouths has any credibility to me whatsoever.

I am convinced that CA thinks the only chance she has to get her daughter home is to continue to perpetuate the lie that Caylee is out there somewhere. She is hoping that she will convince enough people of that and that will sway the jury.
In my mind that's why JB doesn't want the gag order. He wants the lie to keep going. They don't have a case. Cindy will never quit saying that. She doesn't want her daughter to pay for this crime. She just wants her life back like it was.

Post of the day! And now we know just how far Cindy will go to ensure that KC won't pay for what she has done.

I think that JB should reconsider opposing the gag order if this is his strategy. It's not working.

This is LP quoting Tracy. As far as I know, we have no statements directly from Tracy.

Has Tracy been given immunity? She's not on the witness list yet. But LP seems to be acting as if he's able to share more that Tracy knows than in the beginning.

Was the immunity fact or rumor?..Not sure if anyone knows but it's very interesting LP had NOT revealed anything at all from Tracy until that cross&beads stuff right before he began his search at BP & now this.

I still maintain firmly that Tracy does know many more details and more insight. Much more. But, it would likely be considered as heresay, from what I can gather so far so I think they only times we'll hear much of it is when LP shares.

And while I can't find the link now, I do recall reading confirmation here that Tracy was interviewed when the FBI went to California.

ETA: I also think the immunity request might have been for something on the small side, but still might have gotten Tracy in trouble. Example: Maybe she let KC use the phone during a period of time that she wasn't supposed to under the bond release terms? Or the pc?

The statement came from LP on NG tonight..I don't believe Tracy has ever been interviewed or quoted herself.

I know she was at the search in BP because one of the local reporters pointed her out on camera..That was the first time I saw who she was but since then I've seen old footage of her during KA's house arrest as she walked her into JB's office.

I recall the same thing about the FBI interview but it was never released..I hope it is someday..

If it's hearsay for Tracy then is it the same for all the friends/family on the witness list?

I don't think that at all - Cindy is keeping routine - she doesn't want to close the room off all together - she just might feel closer to Caylee and her memory by cleaning up the room and doing everything she did for Caylee when she was there - keeping it tidy until she comes home

I'd have to say I would probably do the same thing

Not the same thing, but when my daughter moved out last year and went across the country, I left her room the way it was and would still pick up and make sure it was neat - until her sister packed up the room and then moved into it - still I would have kept it the way it was just in case she comes home

But would you wash the sheets every week, even though no one slept on them? That seems a bit bizarre to me.
