Regarding the 4:30 and 6:30 in the crib situation: I am not defending anyone or anything --I am not posting much because I don't have much to say about these people that's within TOS!.... but...

I had personal experience today with an even older baby (almost 2) who napped from 2-5 and then went to sleep for the night on schedule at 7. She had gotten up an hour earlier than normal in the morning and has a slight cold.

I think it's possible Lisa could have legitimately been napping at 4:30 and gone to bed at 6:30.

But I imagine you will be sober enough to look in on her at some point, and you may even close the windows and lock the house before you pass out.

FWIW my youngest (13 mo) weighs 23lbs and eats like a horse. Often more than my 3 yr old. Neither ate baby food past 9mo. I know, every baby is different. But again, I don't buy anything this family sells.

I know. I just think it is weird. They had a family dinner and the baby was reportedly not included. They had macaroni and chicken. The baby was nearly 11 months old so I would think she could eat small bites of the dinner. but maybe she was just eating baby food still. who knows. But it would take a lot of jars to fill up a 30 lb child, imo.
Your posts about Lisa not being with everyone at dinner have been breaking my heart...also all the posts about babies that age not being ready to go to bed after napping...not wanting to be alone when other youngsters are visiting, especially other girls...not sleeping well if sick and needing to be held and comforted....ahhhhh.... :(

Okay, now I really am going to bed. :(

It is breaking my heart too. It is just niggling at me because it seems so anti-nurturing. Most moms pay MORE attention to a sick baby. And even 'just a cold' has to be watched closely in young children. It just bugs me that she put her to bed early and started drinking heavily, and ignored the fact her infant was sick and needed extra care that night. imoo

*hiccup!*... whaaa?

Yeah... this is one area where I have to reserve comment because I have NOTHING good to say. I see red when I read/hear DB's comments about her "grown-up time".

I like to think that maybe Lisa was really sleeping and not aware that her mother was neglecting her. :(

You (and other moms here) really sound like you know how to take proper care of babies.

I've even wondered if DB and SB left and went out to party elsewhere, and like someone else posted, maybe there were some partyers downstairs and on the back deck...

But I still suspect that even if anyone else was involved, both DB & JI are also involved. Both of their behavior in videos seem hinky to me, let alone the lack of cooperation with LE (and so early on! Day 3!), lack of doing things to help find Lisa, lack of appealing to the public to find her, lack of appealing to whomever has her, apparent "selling out" to MSM, not letting the boys be interviewed again (child specialist)...DB not asking the boys about that nite...etc.....

I have 4 kids. When my kids were little, probably starting around the time they could pull themselves to standing up in their crib, they were much less content to be left in their crib for extended periods. They would be very vocal, most especially if they heard their siblings playing in the next room. Even when sick, at her age, they could almost always somehow "recover" when it came to an opportunity to play with kids!!! At least for a while, and that is what has always bothered me the most and why I can't buy this story that Lisa just slept through all this! Also, my kids were little parents to their younger siblings always, which is why they all had to be constantly and properly supervised. Kids will be kids and who knows if they would get the baby out themselves or try and feed them (god forbid!), but you never know, especially if no adult was available to the baby... so sad ):

very good post heidisams. I keep looking at the picture of all 3 kids at the door and I ‘ffel’ like the boys adored Lisa. At 6 and 8 I would think they would be very tuned into whether Lisa was sick enough to need her big brothers.

Also, there is a further dynamic with the 4 yr old girl there visiting. When my DD was 1, my son was also 5. And we had a 4 yr old girl next door. The neighbor gilr LOVED my 1 yr old daughter, and my 5 yr old boy LOVED the 4 yr old girl. So he used to always 'show off' around her about how great of a big brother he was. Only when she wss there would he get so 'involved' in caring for the baby. lol

But it really makes me think that something bad might have happened when the perfect storm of that night rolled out. Two moms, drinking and distracted. 3 older kids, left alone unsupervised with a sick infant who was probably crying and wanting out of her crib. :rose:

We really have no information about how sick Lisa was, whether it was a mild cold or one she was getting over. We also have little to no information about whether she was a good sleeper, or an easy baby in general.

I don't find it a stretch to think she could have been put down for the night and slept until a kidnapper entered the house and took her - either out of opportunity because she was a saleable commodity, or because they'd been planning to take her (for various reasons).

Welcome aboard heidisams!

:wagon::welcome4::welcome::Welcome1::greetings:

My kids never slept through the night at that age.

Speaking of which, what happened to DB's account that she changed Lisa and fed her a bottle? Seems to have disintegrated from all the timelines since she announced she had been drunk.

BBM

I posted this same thing in one of these threads.

In one of the earliest interviews, DB said she bathed Lisa, put fresh clothes on her, gave her a bottle, etc.

But these activities haven't been included in ANY of the timelines.

Various tmelines have been released regarding when the wine was bought, when the neighbor came over, when the neighbor left to go buy her own "liquor", when the neighbor returned, when JI came home from his day job, when JI left for his night time job, when DB went to bed, when JI came home, etc.

Not a single timeline includes when DB supposedly gave Lisa a bath, changed her clothes, or gave her a bottle.

When was Lisa given a bath, changed into fresh clothes, given a bottle?

ETA: I expect by tomorrow to read a new improved timeline that includes these activities. I also expect that the new timeline won't make any more sense than any of the previous timelines.

People magazine 10/31 news stand copy not online, pg 50, does have a mention of a bottle on Lisa's bedroom floor. No other details about the bottle, and like you mentioned, not in any timeline.

I agree. We do not know any of those things. But we can speculate, based upon what we know from experience about 11 month olds and trying to get them to sleep. I know that in my experience, it is very hard to get a child that age to go to sleep when they know there are 3 older kids playing in the next room. And if they are good sleepers, easy babies, as my youngest was, they still do not like to miss out on the fun. imoo

I think this is true for many kids - but kids do vary and some might sleep right through it.

It does raise the possibility that maybe someone (like Jersey) was in the house much earlier, like 8:30, tried the phone, took Lisa out the back, and DB never knew because she was too drunk to think to check on her, the kids were occupied somewhere else, and they all crashed into bed without hearing a peep from Lisa's room, because she was gone.

Yeah , or maybe someone like JB was over, his wife was there drinking, maybe he popped over there ...

LE cleared and or/moved on from Jersey so it couldn't have been him....

JB told the media he passed his poly, but so did Misty Croslin....

You could be right. I also think it's possible that LE is saying they have "moved on" from Jersey because they think he took Lisa but passed her on, and they are now looking for that suspect. Or because they want Jersey to think he's cleared, have him relax and get chatty with cellmates. Just like in cases where they say so-and-so is not a suspect, and they have tracking devices on the car because they are hoping the non-suspect will revisit the place where they dumped the body, etc. I hope this is what LE is doing.
