New connection to Blake and London Deven disappearances

Through a state document, WRAL News discovered a potential lead: "Deven Academy," a homeschool listed at the same Eichelberger Drive address where Fayetteville Police say the Deven family resided until June 2019. This could indicate the children were homeschooled.

ABC11 obtained court documents showing that Blake and London were adopted by a woman named Avantae Emerald Deven in 2013 and 2011 respectively.

Detectives and Special Agents have several leads and have conducted interviews in the case.

On March 27, FPD's Homicide Unit, and the FBI searched three locations in Fayetteville as part of the expanding investigation to find Blake.

Interesting, so when did Avante Deven change her name to Ava Maxwell?

It sounds like there might be some confusion with dates and names here. They moved into the Berriedale house in 2019 and there might be some mixing up of names because of different surnames used by other people who live(d) in the house.

The takeaway from my post is the name change - Ava Maxwell. This case has so many layers, and goes back so many years, we're going to need a flow chart to help it make sense. <modsnip: rumors> If you Google "blake deven missing discussion", you'll find places this case is being discussed.

Who are the family members interviewed? Her siblings? Nieces.nephews? Adult children?
Who exactly did police talk to because this woman is a ghost.
This whole thing is scary and so sad. Imagine how many kids are hidden and missing and lost because there is no safety net of school, friends, family, sports, they literally had nothing.

Yes, intentional name changes do confuse/hide things, along with the use of LLC's. The earliest name records date back to the late nineties - her age at that time would have been 37. Would not be suprised to learn of more aliases in other states prior to that timeframe, JMO.

Perhaps there isn't a pelvic bone structure given LE said it was partial skeletal remains.
