it's a floor plan of the model home plan they have sold in the neighborhood...the elevation you see when you scroll down the page a bit and look at the garage side-view, or street view, is almost identical side by side with google earth...on the left side looking at the front of the house, a square study area on the drawing was built with an angular wall but other than that it appears to be the same house ... and if you add the living space square footage gained from finishing the basement (not shown on a floor plan) it just about matches the square footage and drawings on file for this property at Davidson County... http://www.co.davidson.nc.us/taxnet/AppraisalCard.aspx?idP=5534437&Action=Auto

Then it must be the wrong house.. garage was /is definitely located to rear of house, separate from house, not sure whether it was a new addition tho'

I remember seeing this photo which looked like there was a garage at the side (left side if you are looking at the house from the front) however upon viewing that jiggly link you attached it appear that the property to the left looked much closer that it actually is.

thanks for the links...I didn't mean to imply that Shipwash isn't good he got it right on the custody situation ... it was the right thing to do and I think everybody sees that... I appreciate that he's become a lawyer while serving as Clerk as he seems to have passion for the law...but, I believe all Molton had to do to get this matter moved to Superior Court was file the Appeal...and he threw in a few professional insults on the side about ethics violations...as he's obviously angry and seems confident he will prevail on precedent but, I'm sure he won't get anywhere with the custody review...

I'll never forget my Dad telling me about his will...he started out with "Darlin' let me tell you how it is in marriage. there's her money, that she had before she married me and whatever she inherited from her parents...there's our money, that is everything I've ever earned or saved while we've been married...and there's my money that she let me spend on weekends"...I mean, I doubt the judge hasn't heard that line of reasoning before ...but, shame on Molly, if she loved those children like she says she would have at least left them the bedroom suites she bought them ...that would have been telling to me ...however I'm sure on the day of the move in her mind it was the last time she would see the place...taking care of business before possibly spending the rest of her life in prison...she has to have faced that reality by now...it's like drama from Orange is the New Black....

there were concrete floors between ground floor master bedroom level and basement
I needed master bedroom location and its distance to all other rooms on that floor, and I wanted to see whether door opened in or out, left or right, location of bed to door.. this all to track TM allegation that Molly was being strangled inside bedroom door or behind it.. its like a crazy jigsaw where the pieces are not matching, yet I'm intrigued because he had plenty of time to get at least that aspect of his story credible for his police interview. I also wanted it to try understand why Jason was naked, had he just had a shower? Where was bathroom located? What brought the fight to 'inside the bedroom door' as opposed to close to bed or a window?

I understand this but that doesn't mean it didn't happen and she could have been abusing him in this way...I mean, if she can fat-shame him in public she can demand that he perform...I just don't believe it's that far-fetched... as a survivor of domestic violence (for 25 years now) I know a little bit about it...

I am not doubting it can and is used abusively but we have no evidence at all that this is the case here. Lets work with what we have so far?

I've seen the warrant, it simply states 'inside the bedroom door' - I think we maybe need to think laterally when interpreting peoples vocabulary. 'inside the bedroom door' could be interpreted as simply in the bedroom with the door closed, inside the doorway with the door open, or even as you say Kitty behind the door. We won't know exact locations until the crime scene information is released.

There is obviously some supporting evidence to Molly's claims that she suffered no visible injuries from the alleged choking incident. I presume the prosecution will be able to counter these with arguments that she would have understood this from volunteering at the women's refuge and also that TM would possibly have some experience of this with his career also.

I wonder if they will claim that TM was awoken by the sound of crashing furniture due to a struggle from the alleged strangulation rather than the noise of two people arguing. This may also be a reason for SM staying in the basement? TM goes to investigate a 'disturbance' and comes upon Jason choking Molly? He didn't know what he was facing and so told her to stay put. I guess this still doesn't explain why she didn't dial 911!

I think the most likely place for the basement guest room is directly underneath the master bedroom...as I look at the house the yard slopes back on that side almost as if there is a walk out part in the back...the Great Room is 20' wide and is between the master bedroom and the kitchen but it's open...it appears the stairs going down would be off the kitchen or the great room in the middle of the house...I have hardwood floors and from my basement you can't hear what people are saying upstairs but sometimes hear they are talking ...mostly hear walking around...
