Why do you think that the most "likely" reason is that she "wasn't lying?" Why is that "most likely" in your opinion. I think it's helpful to understand each other's point of view. Thank you.

Because I don't make accusations without evidence. I think it is more likely to be the truth than a lie. I would rather wait until the trial clears up the matter.

But, if I were to be to use your admirable measure... the simplest explanation for a large heavy man battered brutally to death by an elderly man and a slight woman with not a scratch or bruise on them...is a deliberate rage killing.

I agree about the rage killing. That does not mean I believe every word she has ever spoken is a like, particularly when the words were posted on the internet 10 years ago.

A crime like this is so shocking, especially when we consider the ooportunites and options available to someone with such a supportive family, and family with law enforcement pedigrees, and the resources, social and financial, to provide MM with a cocoon of a safety net..we struggle to look at everything about MM.

What in her background coincides with accusations in the present? Well, the Corbetts say she was a "fantasist."

Then we see posts like this about a stepdaughter.

Is this a pattern? We don't know. But it sure doesn't dispel what the Corbetts have charged.

I also don't think that she was lying about the little girl however I do think that she was embellishing it by referring to her as a 'step daughter". I suspect, also considering her age at the time of 21/22, that she was in a relationship with a man who had an 8 year old daughter. If she had been married before, surely it would have come out by now. Maybe the relationship was serious, whether that was in her eyes or reality, is anyones guess.

I noticed on the family service website where she is in a picture has a sponsor of a sorority-based service... but, I don't have access to sorority and fraternity databases (that track people for life), but if I did I might get more of a clue of her history... so far not a single poster has agreed much with me about anything but I know the difference between direct evidence and hearsay and I'm not willing to go along with the truth being a lie...

With respect...That could be anyone. It's a grainy photo of a girl with average features. Certainly no legal entity could certify and identify MM and state this as proof that she was at Clemson in 2006 from this. We can't even see the other half of the girls face. She could have a huge mole or scar for all we can see.

Have you found a roster with names or any thing else? That would certainly be proof.

This site is for Clemson class yearbooks. It has a search mechanism. I have tried putting in Molly Martens with no luck. But I will post it here in case some of you sleuthers can find her in any year.

It looks like Molly to me. I have no reason to disbelieve that she graduated from Clemson.

I don't have much patience with the whole lost years theory. If you Google my real name you would find almost nothing about me, though I have nothing to hide.

But surely there are many pretty blonde in grainy photos in all kinds of yearbooks. "Looking like her"...is not proof.

But it is an opinion and , left at that...that's fine. But it does not prove a thing.

All I'm saying is that an unidentified picture is no objective proof that Molly graduated from Clemson or was there in 2006.

If you can find her in any Clemson yearbook or her name on a roster, then that would be established fact. Maybe working together, we can find more.

dont give up.. you are sleuthing its great.
I dont see any resemblance to molly though and I am not actually attached to the debate on whether she did or did not complete Clemson. I dont care either way.
I did a reverse image search but came up with nothing but I think my browser is very limited so I am quite handicapped re research though I do a lot of it.
We're searching for a breakthrough in information because we simply want to understand. The autopsy was extraordinarily brutal. The behavior of the perpetrators even more so since the murder.
Follow every lead.. The smallest clue might lead to a break..
Its completely disheartening.
But you put in the work and thats what counts.
You are miles ahead on legal stuff.. I dont have much understanding of how law is interpreted in the various states though I have read a lot.
We will find the truth eventually. Somebody will find something somewhere that at first appears trivial maybe..
Its in the small things.. little traces.. here and there..

why is everything she has ever said or done presumed to be an evil witch lie? why does anyone here need to prove she went to college?...how does that help you in anyway sleuth this crime?...how does it support Jason?...do you think that's what his children want to hear?... If you want to know more about Molly's college experience find a friend who has been a sorority member in college and ask her to google her Pan-Hellenic database for Molly...

The problem in my eyes is no one accusing Molly of lying about her schooling has posted any proof at all of that, simply accusations that she is lying because they haven't found proof that she did graduate.
