I read all todays' posts. I need clarification on 'defence needing time'.. Is this saying they need longer than the weekend before returning?
-Is it an attempt to delay Corbetts returning home or putting additional pressure on corbetts who have not yet testified?
- regarding warrants' results being brought forward.. I am unsure what this means? If tomorrow is last day of prosecution testimony, would they not essentially need to be entered into evidence then, if at all??

There seems to be a lot of delaying tactics employed by defence.. is this vexatious, or is that term even used in US trials.. spurious objections made in an effort to almost troll the proceedings, knowing that there are children in Ireland anxiously awaiting their parents' return?

thinking the same, hope there wont be any more delays its so unfair on the corbett family

everything i say here is moo

Language used is appalling. definite statement, word 'allegedly' omitted
It will probably get worse when defence case starts.... assume the brace position for flying baloney [emoji90]

At least he's leaving the door open for rebuttal depending on how the defense handle it...

Lynch said Molly messaged her in March 2015 that she was going to look at flights to go to the bday party

But lynch also said, Jason never mentioned Molly coming along, just he and the kids

So she heard from Molly that Molly was coming, but that's not what she heard from Jason

Lynch is now off the stand

Is anyone else concerned at how quickly they're whizzing through the witnesses??!!

Jury out of the room, next two witnesses will be MPS coworkers of Jason Corbett

Prosecution says coworkers will testify that Jason Corbett mentioned a "strained relationship" with Molly Corbett

Also testimony about future plans of leaving America

Judge doesn't allow either to be used as evidence "at this time"

The prosecution said the second coworker will testify about meeting Molly Corbett after Jason's passing
Molly Corbett came by to pick up Jason's stuff, and the coworker apparently had a chance to observe Molly during this convo

Her testimony will be allowed

Well that's the prosecution's motive out the window....I hope the overkill is enough for the jury!

Mary said the prosecution have a chance again after the defence but only to refute evidence they present . Maybe this is why the judge said not as this time what do you think. Maybe Im naive .

Why not I wonder? If the jury have to decide guilt or innocence, why are they not allowed to hear certain evidence?

Yeah I'm hoping they are not presenting testimony from 'contentious' witnesses such as Jason's sister on the basis that they are less likely give them grounds for appeal if the conviction is on more solid grounds...I'm just concerned that the prosecution are apparently lined up to rest their case tomorrow, without and clear motive for the attack without the motive of the breakdown of the relationship/loss of the kids...hopefully Kitty is right and they have some damning evidence in regards to the financials.
