I watched Ms. Shandles' closing twice. She was really great and her closing was chock full of pithy verbiage which I wanted to savor again!

One of my fav's (which got the defense screeching OBJECTION):

"She couldn't keep her legs together or her mouth shut!" :floorlaugh:

Yep -- Mad74, I enjoyed that "legs together" comment as well. I liked the "can't have it both ways" theme, and I liked how she spit out the "this vs. that" in her argument. With the jury coming back so soon, she may have already been preaching to the choir, but she was clear, matter-of-fact and full of so many examples of her lies, lies, lies.

:D

This is one murder/trial that sure came and went fast.

The murder itself happened in 2013 but for some reason no one noticed it who frequents WS, so it went under the radar until the case was already well under way. And then the trial itself only lasted about 8 or 9 days, so by the time I discovered the case and started the thread, it was over halfway done, with just a few days to go. Slam dunk cases tend to go super fast.
