so nothing really that would get him disbarred. Mostly likely they were DWI's reduced to something less.

Nothing really that would point to a substance abuse problem or owing a debt to someone that chose to collect on the debt.

IMO - it was still a contract killing - not necessarily by a professional but someone who owed a debt or making good on a retaliation promise. Just MOO!

do we know that the dna they're searching for was on KT or could it be male dna that was found on beer bottles, baggie corners, or other items seized by the police?

I don't think they have actually said where the DNA came from. I think the SW says their took hair as well.

Sounds like the path was well worn down to GG.
Even though JG had nothing to do with this, the "inner circle" of KT is an interesting dynamic for sure.

Speaking of paths to GG, when I was there a couple of days ago I explored the paths behind GG. I plan to post pictures when I get them organized.

One path, to the left of GG, led to a paved driveway that led straight to a house ( not JG's, I don't think).

Then, a path that led from the apartments went past the front of JG's house to a wooden footbridge.

Are those the only two paths? Is there another path with another footbridge somewhere?

Does the state school board even pay a stipend?
I would guess KT was awarded a very handsome divorce settlement from TT. (multi-millionaire trial lawyer)

The home in Greenville is owned by KT..market value $380,000
The condo in Oriental (next door to DH) is valued around $107,000

so what do we know about the divorce from TT? hear he has a much younger wife now.

and what do we know about her prior husbands?

Yes, JG was married to EB's sister, and they have two grown children together. His ex wife and two grown children live in Raleigh as well, all within about a 5 mile radius of each other.

I'm sorry, but I have to strongly disagree in this case. First of all, JG has been cleared publicly by the RPD. They don't say that unless they really mean it. He is not a suspect and I have heard from people very close to the family that both he and TT have been working closely and tirelessly with the police to solve this crime. I think it is much more likely that it was a sudden crime of opprotunity, probably brought on by drugs. JMO
 
What I meant was from the time the story broke things did not sound right. For example - 2 911 calls,the RPD staying at the crime scene so long then sealing the info as well as not making more public statements soon after the crime or issuing a BOLO. However, given who the victim was, who her ex is, homeowner "being" out of town and now the release of SW and release of 911calls adds to the bizarreness.

Why is 1 person attacked and not the other if both were in the house, and if DH was in house, how could she not hear anything - passed out or not. No sign of B/E or robbery.

Lastly, how could someone esp. a family member committ such a brutal crime on a helpless individual.

I do not doubt DH knows something that hasn't been made public and may have arranged this to happen or perhaps unknowingly played a role but IMO she could not have beaten her sister unconcious. Give her a drug od or smother her but for a woman to crush another's skull - i just can't imagine it.

I do not know DH, KT, JG or anyone connected to the crime and like most everyone else only know what i've read in the media.

i agree...i think that the perp gained entry thru sister initially and maybe came back later, seeing that she was in a state unlikely to be able to report him, did the crime and left her alone...

Actually susubaby, RPD has not publicly cleared anyone that I am aware of. NCWANTED stated that JG and TT are not believed to be suspects.
I agree with their belief 100%.
 
But that does not mean the court records that are MacIntosh are not his ... could be typo on their part.

There are not any of of the traditional strip mall stores, except for Dominos and HT. It's L shaped, and has approximately 9 stores I think. I don't frequent most of them, only HT and GG. There used to be a designer bakery. I'm not sure if they are still open. There is a ladies boutique and a Synergy Spa. I don't think most of them stay open past 7:00 p.m. Chime in if that's not correct. There is a gas station right in front of the shopping center. THey close at 7:00 p.m. daily. I'm not aware of any shop other than HT and Dominos that would be open after 10:00.

The upscale bakery/coffee shop is open until 11 pm Fri and Sat nights. GG stops serving at 10 but I know we have been at the restaurant as late as 11:30. Bar closes at 2:00 am with all drinks off the table by 2:30 am. Domino's closes at 1:00 am.
 
think the minor spelling discrepancies are nothing. look at the dobs
 
Wheaten, the info I had did not include DOB.

The info crocus found all had DOB 10/10/48 IIRC.

But if hers are for the "MacIntosh" one then the "McIntosh" entries are the ones with the typo.

I don't know where else to look for JG's DOB.
